And while you are sitting indoors
waiting for the storm to pass
I will be outside dancing in the rain
waiting for the storm to pass
I will be outside dancing in the rain

The musician stood before the crates, eyes scanning over the wooden boxes as her hand hovered above them, already tempted to open them before the man even asked. But after a few moments the guilt stopped her from proceeding, removing her small hand and placing it back to her side. No matter how much she wanted to know what it was exactly she was killing creatures for she knew the client seemed a bit iffy about wanting them to know what it was they were looking for. It felt wrong to take a peek.
Standing back Astrid shook her head. "It doesn't matter. We just need to get these back to the wagon before the old man leaves us out here for taking so long."
While the health of the old man waiting outside for them to return was also something she slightly worried about she made it more of an excuse so Kaisto wouldn't be tempted to look in them either, knowing how set he was on finding out what the cargo was from his words at the beginning of their adventure.
Placing her hand back on the wooden create she studied it once more, still slightly tempted to open it.
"How do we get these things out of here?" She asked, snapping her gaze back to Kai to shove the intruding thoughts out of her mind.
A screeching noise sounded from the back of the cavern behind the boxes, echoing off of the stone walls, dark and loud, ringing into the girl's ears. The sudden noise made Astrid jump, causing her to turn her head to where the familiar sound came from. There were more imps? But she thought the last batch were it. Just how many of the creatures lived in these caverns.
A bright, orange fire ball shot out from the darkness, connecting with the musician's chest. Though small the burning sphere was still powerful enough to knock her backwards, falling onto her side on the cold, solid ground below. She choked and gasped, the breath being painfully knocked out of her from both the attack and the fall. Her arms instantly reached to her chest as she winced, feeling a fiery hot burning sensation tearing at her chest. Watering slightly her eyes looked down to it, seeing a part of her clothing had been burnt off, reveling a red burn mark on her chest. Her eyes widened, the wound beginning to sting and fizzle.
What had happened? Imps didn't normally have magic like this, at least not the imps they fought before.
She continued to hold her arms over her chest, trying to protect the wound as she gathered her thoughts slowly, unable to process anything correctly with the searing pain coursing through her chest and back.
