Personality: When it comes to Jess…usually being older means that you have more experience well with Jess around that isn’t often the case. From a young age she was the apprentice of a well-known metal smith and being older now means that she has a lot of that knowledge and love of weaponry that was taught to her, turning her into somewhat of a savant when around weapons that she finds cool.
This love of weapons has led her to getting into many arguments over what a certain type of weapon is, or what it could be made of, or even who made it, because somehow she is able to tell exactly what smith made someone’s weapon despite never meeting either the wielder or the creator of the weapon. This has led Jess to being known as a psychic among some rather odd groups, she even has a small cult following in Hargeon though she never understood why anyone would worship her. One time she had to talk her way out of a rather weird situation when she had snuck into a rather old smiths store and hid out until late to “Converse” with the weaponry. Needless to say she ended up paying restitution to the old man for her blatant disregard for the law.
This small ability of hers to discern weapons has made her a bit of money as of late as many people have come to her to get a shoddy weapon reforged after it has become damaged, become dull, or even in very rare cases broken completely in these cases she cannot help but yell profusely at the weapons owner.
Sometimes however her savant esque attitude gets her into even bigger trouble, such as when an opponent has a cool weapon of their own and she just has to geek out about it and fails to focus on the job or fight going on at the same time. This has led to some pretty nasty scars on her body that she prefers to keep hidden.
Though knowing a lot of information about different types of weapons does have many advantages in combat situations, as such she is able to determine how long a blade should be and the time it takes someone of a certain size, such as if a large man were to swing a basic scimitar. With an estimation of the man’s strength she could almost instantly determine when to dodge the swing for the best effect.
However her way of thinking doesn’t always work…right and this infuriates her. In such cases where an opponent has an off balance blade, or a blade that is longer than one normally should be, or even in a case where an opponent looks weak but by some miracle they are actually stronger than they look and Jess either fails to dodge or Dodges too early causing the opponent to have an obvious opening. This of course could ruin a fight or job should any other wizards be involved as this could simply create a massive problem with their own strategies.

• Make weapons using only magic (Who doesn’t want to craft a magical weapon using only magic energy?!)
• Be well known throughout the world (Fame? Fortune? Yes Please!)
• Open a noodle soup stand (Lets make us some money selling the wizards of the world delicious noodles)
