"A wanderer isn't always lost."
The burning wasteland of Sin; Hell on Earth, as many would describe it, and that's exactly what it was. Fissures of lava running just beneath the surface were numerous, volcanic eruptions were frequent, the air was choked with smoke and ash, and the worst of it were the creatures that roamed around. Sin did not welcome life, except in one type: monsters. Demons, dragons, mutants, or just any other kind of creature one would imagine living in such a twisted habitat, were numerous to add on to the danger. Venturing into Sin was considered suicide, for not many did so and came out alive. One individual in particular, however, since his first time going in, had been there numerous times perfectly fine. He gained swift knowledge of Sin's landscape, ways to avoid the monsters, and all of the environmental dangers. He applied his knowledge in his visits, which weren't all to frequent, but necessary; his destination was the only inactive volcano in all of Sin, the one that never gave off smoke or ash, and only erupted when a certain being simulated it. And that being was now dead. With Deniel in the Obsidian Palace, he let Nidhogg roam free in his 'true' form on the lands, since he wouldn't have to be scared of him sticking out.... Sin was already infested with monsters.
So the dragon crawled out of the volcano, and by sapping Deniel's Magic Power, grew to an enormous size, and lost the tiny serpent shape to a four-legged black scaled twisted monster. Nidhogg's appearance in his true form seemed to be incredibly unstable, with very little flesh or skin on his body, and much of his black bones showing, specifically on his arms and rib cage area. His eyes, his mouth, his rib cage, and his wings all possessed the same dark purple glow to them, which all extinguished themselves at the will of Nidhogg, all except his eyes. Once he unveiled his true form, Nidhogg wasted no time in hurling himself off of the ground and taking off to flight with two powerful and enormous wings. He headed more towards Sin's ocean borders; for in spite of how intoxicated the sea was, at the very least it still sounded relatively the same to a calm shore. Upon arriving, the black dragon found a spot where it might go undisturbed for some time, closed its eyes, and began to take a nap.
