Job Location: Sombra's Manor (Cursed Lands)
Job Description: Part 1-The Invitation: It will be a normal day at the guild hall, and you will receive a letter. You have been cordially invited to attend a dinner party at Sombra's Manor. You have been invited due to your skills as a mage having become more well known. The only problem, is this manor is in the Cursed Lands. While it is obvious this is sketchy, your guild master is willing to reward you for traveling out there and seeing what it is all about. Your mission is to uncover to the secrets of the manor and make it home alive.
Part 2-The Arrival: You will arrive at Sombra's manor to find the butler named Frederick, who serves the Lord Sombra whom you have never heard of before but know as the one who invited you to the party. You will walk around for a bit to find no one else was invited to the party. (Unless people from multiple people guilds go, in which case you will be the only ones there) Around dinner time, the Butler will set out a full course meal and then disappear. You will hear several screams coming throughout the house.
Part 3-The Search: You can leave now and receive no reward, or continue on and find out the source of the screams. In which case you will make three trap rolls through your search, these traps being due to both the curse on the house and the fact that it in itself is looking to be one big trap. You will also roll for monsters, as the house itself is haunted. If you roll Sombra during this time, you will have a short battle and he will run off for you to fight him later.
Part 4-The Reveal: After fighting your way through the house's traps and the many ghouls within it, you will encounter Sombra in his dungeon under the house. It will now be revealed that he invited you here to feed on your magic energy, as Sombra is a special kind of vampire. He found out your status as a powerful mage and invited you to be drained of all power, which would kill you left untreated. He has been killing mages for hundreds of years, and in his mind you will be no different. Defeat him and return home.
Enemies:
Weak: Lesser Ghouls (x5)
These are the weaker spirits of mages that Sombra has killed in the mansion. They may look how you wish and have whatever magic you wish, but the damage will always be spirit energy damage. They can move through walls and ceilings at will. They can throw objects in the house at you out of anger. They can be felled by an S ranked attack a piece.
Normal: Ghouls (x3)
These are the spirits of the mages that Sombra has killed in the mansion, they are the slightly stronger ones. They can deal S ranked damage with whatever magic they use, but no matter the element you choose for them the damage will be spirit energy. They can be felled by 3 S ranked attacks each. Physical weapons do not work on them a spirits, but all magic will deal spirit energy damage. They can move through walls and ceilings at will. They can throw objects in the house at you out of anger.
Strong: Mirror Demon (However many mages there are is how many will appear)
When one looks at the mirror, they will see a reflection of themselves. The only difference is the eyes will be black. These demons have the same abilities you do, but after taking 3 S ranked hits, they will reveal their true form as nasty looking demons. After 3 more S ranked hits, they will be beaten.
True Appearance:
Boss: Sombra, Vampire Lord.
Sombra is a very proper and honorable man, albeit he is quite evil he is the kind of man who wants a fair fight. He enjoys fighting as much as he does reading and traveling. Unfortunately he also enjoys slaughtering mages. He is hundreds of years old and quite intelligent. He has been killing mages for quite a long time, and he knows the manor like the back of his hand. He is very confident, and a master swordsman. His claymore deals S ranked damage, and he swings it like it weighs nothing. His strength and speed are quite impressive, being above S ranked. It takes ten S ranks to fell him, and once he is dead all of the mage's spirits in the house will move on to the next world.
Appearance & Abilities:
Bats: Sombra has the ability to summon ten bats that can deal B ranked damage, but a solid A rank attack will take them out.
Spirit Pulse: Holding his palm out, he can send an S ranked blast of spirit energy fifty meters in any direction he wishes.
Claymore Soul: Enveloping his blade in his own soul energy, he can send this off in the form of arcs that deal S ranked damage. This goes well with his sword fighting techniques.
Traps:
1-Trapdoor: The player rolling will wall through a trap door and end up in a part of Sombra's dungeon. It will take two posts for this person to find their way back to the main part of the house, or whoever they were with.
2-Bats: Ten bats will come flying out of different parts of the house, they can deal B ranked damage, but a solid A ranked attack will easily take them out.
3-Knights: The knight statues in whatever hall you are in will come to life, five of them with A ranked swords and armor.
4-Endless Hall: The hallway you are in will appear endless, and it will take two posts of running around to get out of it. You will be stuck with any enemies you rolled in the hall, and it may cause some characters to freak out.
5-Hands from Hell: Undead hands will rise from the floor you are standing on, they have A ranked strength and will attempt to grab you. They come in groups, about thirty hands. A ranked attacks will fell them however.
6-Illusions: The mage(s) will begin to see freaky illusions that they will feel compelled to attack that aren't actually there. This includes ghouls, vampires, monsters, or anything the character is afraid of. The illusions will last two posts.
Reward: Normal S rank exp. 55k jewels. The title/position: Vanquisher. This title is rewarded for vanquishing Sombra and freeing the spirits of the mages.

So they were invited to a party because of their reputation. Elyx and Ignite were former Rising Stars, but that hardly meant anything to them. It seemed that it mattered to whoever sent the letter. If it were a party based on strong mages, then there must be more mages than just him an Ignite. A good hundred or two hundred might attend, like at the ball, where things went all over the place. Fortunately for him, he was not caught as a Neutral mage. Anyone who saw him at the party did not know, the only one who did was Venir. The thing was, Kai pressed on to find him a lady, and it's not like the violinist could attack the dream mage for trying to make Elyx do something so extreme. Fortunately, he was able to get out of there single and free He didn't want anyone, so hopefully this party would not be as extreme as the last one. But before he was able to do that, he would have to actually get there. And as usual, they would be traveling via walking. There was no other way for the both of them to travel, an unfortunate reality. But that buffed up their bodies, making them stronger and able to run much faster than before. Hopefully they would be able to get there without being tired. Then again, being tired was the least they had to be worried about. After all, they were going to the Cursed Lands, the place that provided hell for all sorts of people, mages included. Hopefully this would be a Dinner party, and nothing that would give them hell. Nimpha can't be called into the Cursed Lands either. Mainly due to the sound interference, and his hand whistle won't be able to escape. Hopefully he and Ignite didn't need her. The Violinist and the She Phoenix would exit from the Guild Hall and smile as they would then see the outside. The Sun was not too bright, as usual. But by this point in time, they were well aware of that coming up. So instead of paying any mind to it, they would just continue walking out of the Guild Hall before reaching the borders of the Neutral Lands. Crossing them made him no longer in his territory, but in the free territory that belong to no one. No one claimed it yet, so anyone can do anything. They would then begin walking towards the Cursed Lands. It might take them a while on walking, but that was all they had. No bodies of water to carry them with a boat either, and they had no vehicle either. To complain about it though was a bit hypocritical though, they never really did go anywhere with a machine. They may have gone on their boat a bit, but Elyx had a fear of water, so he did not enjoy that ride too much either. So the next best thing to do was walk. Then again, they could fly with Cassie, but in case they needed to defend themselves, they would need to have her ready for a surprise attack, or possibly a bail if bad becomes worse. But best case scenario says that they don't even need to fight.
