It would be nearing dusk; trees would be giving off long shadows over the plains. It was going to be a nice night, with a light amount of breeze, the proper temperature, not too cool, not too hot. Honestly, it would have been a great time to just sit down on the grass and relax. But, sadly, for Nothel this wouldn’t be too possible. He had accepted a job, and it seems like his biggest so far. It was dubbed ‘Genesis’ and seems like it could even involve real fights. One problem with this though. The place he had to go was in the middle of the woods and so far off any road. He would be wearing a backpack for once, just in case he had to camp out here for the night. The walk had been enjoyable though, waching animals scurry and birds chirp. Nature was quite nice, and frankly, Nothel enjoyed it.

But, as the sun is setting, Nothel crests a hill and overlooks some ruined structure. He had finally made it to the job site. It was a pretty big area too, maybe a couple hundred feet in diameter, with made stuff inside the ruins and such. While surveying the land, Nothel would see something interesting. Someone else would be there, and got there before him. It would look like a woman, but he couldn’t really make out any specific details. Shaking his head slightly, he moves forward, to see who they are, or to fight them if need be.

The pale woman lay in waiting, sitting next to Lexa Grimoire, the person they were supposed to be escorting through the ruins. It seemed that the girl had some measure of magical potency. From how difficult the foes in this dungeon sounded- it may be for the best that they had her along as well. It did not occur to Suzuran that the girl might not want to fight as she was being escorted. If there was danger Suzuran was fully certain that Lexa Grimoire would help them fight, because if she didn’t Suzuran was going to leave her to die.

One who wasn’t willing to fight for their life didn’t deserve to have it. Experience and money was worth nothing if she didn’t survive to spend it. If worst came to worse Suzuran would likely use the person they were supposed to be escorting as a human shield. Suzuran was a terrible protective escort. This was a fact that even she did not fully know, as these thoughts were not going through her head currently. This was merely what would happen if she was put into a situation where she had to choose between herself and the person she was supposed to protect. Even if it was a child she would choose herself. Indeed for Suzuran there was no question- she would always choose herself over others.

There was only one life that held value to her, and that was her own. Even her mother’s life was of null importance to her.

As her job partner came closer Lexa Grimorie illuminated the black strip and looked between the two with a broad grin. “You two ready?”

Nothel approaches the two women, and inspects them both as Lexa talks. He had forgotten the letter said this was a job for two wizards. He had wondered who it would be, since it said he shouldn’t bring a friend. At first, he would look at shorter woman, around five feet tall. She’d look really young to him, more of a child than anything. Though that can’t be true, since she seems like the one who called him and his…’partner’ out here. Her clothes would be weird, with the black gloves, black boots, and miniskirt. But he wasn’t really here to judge appearances, he is no fashion expert. Anyway, after looking at who he presumes is Lexa, he observers his partner. Instantly, he would remember seeing her once or twice at the guild hall. He wouldn’t know her name, no, but he atleast remembers she is part of Black Rose. He would take note of her shorter, light blue hair. Honestly, it would look lovely and Nothel would linger his eyes on it for a second. He’d shiver slightly, feeling the cold aura coming off of her. Odd, that must mean she has something to do with ice magic or something. He should figure that out at some point.

After the few seconds of inspect he would nod, “Alright…I presume you are Lexa.” He gestures to the black-wearing girl. He then gestures towards Suzuran, “But…I do not know who you are, so, for a proper introduction…” Nothel gives a small bow, “I am Nothel of Black Rose, whom may you be, miss?”

This is the second real talk he has had with another human, or at least human like person. He isn’t very social, but a job is a job.

“That I am! Lexa Grimoire, and pleased as a chilled cyewcumber to meet yew!” Said the woman, taking the man’s hand and shaking it vigorously. “And who are yew?” She asked, putting her hands on the willowy white woman that was Suzuran.

“Suzuran Hifume.” Said the ice elemental, taking the girl’s hand off her and placing it at her side. “What precisely will we be looking for today?” These Ancient ruins seemed to have a great deal of worth within them. Wizards, bandits, and wizard bandits were all wanting to get at what was inside. What was so special Suzuran did not quite comprehend, but that was because she hadn’t been in there yet.

“No clue! But it might be fun to poke around!” She said in a high pitched, child-like voice.

Fun… Suzuran did not understand this concept of fun, but did not care enough to ask. She was a little disconcerted that the job description had made it sound like Lexa had found something, and now it turned out that there was nothing, so therefore it could be anything. They could be down there for days if she saw fit, being the employer. Well. The longer they were down there the more experience Suzuran would get, so she supposed that would be an okay outcome, so long as they didn’t stay there for a dangerously long amount of time and thus get themselves killed.

Suzuran wasn’t willing to sacrifice her life for a mere stranger, or even someone she had known for a decent amount of time.

Fun. Fun to poke around? You have got to be kidding me. It will be fun to poke around this possible hell hole a day off the beaten path. Why the hell am I here is all Nothel could think as he listens to Lexa. Its bad enough he has to participate with some ice mage he doesn't know, but to risk his life here? Just great. A child is going to lead him to his death. And he has a seeping suspicious if stuff goes wrong the ice mage will abandon them to run away or something. Just fucking perfect. Shaking his head he steps back, sliding his backpack off and putting it on the ground. "Alright then, lets start this and get it over with." he groans this out, really disliking what is about to happen. Sliding his hands into his pockets, he wonders how will this go down. There are two things that are gonna happen, they die, or the leave with loot. Hopefully the latter happens, but Nothel can't resist but think about the possible worse happening to them. Shaking his head he steps back. Though, he is intrigued with this ice mage. She seems to be even more anti-social and person hating than him. Its honestly amazing, he has never met someone who hasn't want to approach him or something and be friendly. It was respectable to be honest. Well, maybe not respectable, but it is the first person Nothel actually wants to know about, which is a new experience for himself.

“Okey dokey!” Said Lexa with a childish little giggle, pulling out a black strip of metal and applying a bit of mana to it, making both it and herself glow. Circuits on her skin started to glow golden yellow. Then, without any further ado, the girl started skipping into the dark abyss that was the Ancient Ruins. It didn’t take long before their first monster appeared, it very well almost towered over Lexa Grimoire at four feet tall, covered head to toe in golden circuits, much like Lexa herself almost. It snarled at them, making a run for them.

Reflectively, Suzuran conjured an ice spear and used her magic to fling it at the dog, managing to impale its shoulder, but not entirely take it down quite yet. It was still running towards them , the massive beast slobbering in attack mode rage.

There was one thing Suzuran found odd, the fact that Lexa and this dog had the same colored circuits. She did not know what to make of it, so concluded that it must be a coincidence. After all, many humans had the same colored hair color or skin color. That this human had circuits in her skin was an anomaly, but not one that Suzuran realized was something to care about.

It was odd how humans had laws against murdering, and yet so easily broke them in the name of a job or quest. She herself did not care for the laws any more than what was required of her to stay free and out of a jail cell. But they had seemed so important originally… But humans didn’t even care.

Nothel hated how upbeat the girl was. It seemed out of place in an area like this. How can you be so happy and chipper when you can literally get eaten in a place like this. It was stupid, quite stupid. It really annoyed him to be honest. Following them slowly, he'd shake his head. This was going to be a long job. Slowed down by two people he doesn't care to know or every meet. If there was fighting it would be a million times better. And Nothel wouldn't have to wait long for it. Out of no where a huge dog would jump out of nowhere. He would draw his sword to get the first hit out on it, but amazingly...The ice mage or whoever she was immediately formed a spear and impaled the dog in the shoulder. A great shot by here. Smiling to himself, muttering, "Maybe she isn't that bad..."

After that the dog would yelp from the attack, and be stunned for a second. Taking this as an opportunity Nothel lunges forward at the dog to attack it. His timing would be on point and he would slice the front left leg of the dog. This is limit its speed as the leg is now hurt and running forty miles per hour would be nearly impossible on a hurt leg. As Nothel would go in for another hit, the dog lashes out and bites his leg. This causes Nothel to jerk and fall back, groaning in pain as the bite broke the skin. Unlucky for the dog that is. Some of his blood got into the dog, his poisonous blood in its veins now. Smiling Nothel knows the mutt will die soon.

There was another spell Suzuran could use, but as it was she thought it inappropriate to use it. She’d save it for later. The ice elemental didn’t care if she looked like a one trick pony. She only cared that she killed anything that presented a danger to her livelihood. Or something that could gain her experience. She needed that experience for very specific reasons that she didn’t have to tell you.

Suzuran formed another ice spear in the air and flung it at the dog, avoiding hitting Nothel as she did so not because she valued his life as a group mate, but because if she killed him she’d have a harder time with this mission and getting the experience points from it. There was that law about not killing… But it didn’t seem all that important. Though sometimes it did. Suzuran was quite confused about the whole not killing thing. Humans were quite inconsistent. Killing animals and humans alike and saying it was okay for seemingly indiscriminate differences.

She wondered if there was a book on it or something, that would clear up a lot of the confusion she had. Black Rose had a library. She would look at it when she got back. How was an ice elemental supposed to understand the value of a human life when it varied based on how you felt about that person? Especially when you didn’t understand emotion? These were not questions that floated through Suzuran’s mind, simply general observations about the world she lived in.

Nothel smiles lightly at the spear goes past his side and impales the dog again. Instead of attacking he just sheaths his sword. This would seem odd, the fight wasn't over. But right as he finished sheathing the dog grunted, snarled, and groaned slightly. "Oh~ Not dead yet?" Nothel grins savagely, walking forward and kicking the dog in the stomach, knocking it over. That is all the animal needed to succumb to the poison. It rolls over and stops breaths. It had died. How you may ask? It bit Nothel and got some of his poisoned blood in its system. That combined with the attacks, and it couldn't hold up anymore.

Nothel gestures to Suzuran, "Onwards then," he states stoiccly as he moves forward into the darkness, waiting for the next attack to come. Finally, some fights, these are fun. Blood, guts, gore, and death. This is where Nothel belongs, right out here in the battlefield. He wondered what Suzuran was thinking, being some weird kinda ice mage, who didn't talk or anything. Interesting. Then there was Lexa, some upbeat kid who was just gonna watch them fight her fights. Perfect. This is the dream team, obviously. Smiling slighty at his own joke, he moves forward, wondering what their next enemy will be. Some other dog? No no, they need somethign bigger, scarier, maybe a giant spider or wolf. Yeeaah a wolf would do great. Or how about a fire using enemy, to annoy the ice mage... Suddenly, they would be approached by...

There were those that thought these Ancient Ruins meant something- that there was a history in them that ought be perserved and protected for eons to come. These ruins were relics of an ancient time, brimming with all sorts of mysteries and possible riches. History long since forgotten by the minds of man could be rediscovered here and retold, bringing a wealth that money could not even begin to calculate. There were possibilities that these Ancient Ruins held that some would kill for, like those bandits she and Iayoi had taken down not but a few days ago.

There were those that might marvel at the architecture or the exquisitely designed statues that had miraculously withstood the test of time.

Suzuran, however was not one of those people who held any sort of value in a once inhabited human ruin. She hardly held any value for inhabited ones. So when she saw a mob full of spiders racing towards them Suzuran waited for just the right moment and then sent an ice spear at a pillar that had been supporting the crumbling wall, sending it collapsing down onto them. Quite a bit of the wall collapsed with it, but the ice elemental was not worried. There were other support beams, and there was a decent amount of distance between them and the pillar that she had destroyed.

Plus it wasn’t like she had destroyed their only way- these ruins were like a maze, and there were plenty of ways to go.

The crash was quite effective, and was a good move on Suzuran's side. The falling rubble crashed down around and on the spiders. Blood would rush out from under the rubble, singalling one or two of them died from the crash. Nothel grins, muttering under his breath, "She isn't useless, wow."

Going to inspect the crash would incite a fight though. Suddenly, a spider jumps up. It somehow dodged all of the falling rocks, and didn’t die like its comrades. In a fit of rage for its fallen allies, it charges the one who killed them, Suzuran. Normally he would let the person the spider is attack deal with it his or herself. Sadly, Nothel feels use from Suzuran. This is where he found the most need to have humans around, to help him fight. So, to stop the spider from attacking her, he raises his hand, casting a spell for the first time in a while. He’d mutter out something and blood would shoot across the groun from the bloodied rubble mess. It would appear slightly In front of the spider and spike up right as it steps on it. The spikes impale all of the spider’s limbs and body, killing it instantly. Grinning at his own work, he looks towards the rubble. Using the blood from the spikes and other crushed spiders, he slams the rubble out of the way, clearing a path. “Come on then, good job on dropping that wall…” He guienly means it, which is odd for Nothel to say something like that. Anyway, he continues to walk forward, keeping the blood with him by magically controlling it. Though, they wouldn’t get far until…

“Don’t think I’ll let you have all the fun!” She said in her high pitched childish voice. Lexa Grimorie unsheathed the sword from her back and slashed at the air, light pouring from the slice through the air. An angel appeared from the crack in reality, long flowing white hair flowing in the wind created by her mighty sings. The Angel lifted her hand forming a ball of light in her hand that steadily grew, and would grow to 10 feet in radius by the time she finally used this attack on her second posts.

The scientists stopped for a moment, trasfixed in awe by the beautiful angel before them and the beam of light. Before they could recover themselves Suzuran cast her Iron Man requip. Within seconds her feminine form was gone, the ice shifting to the shape of Iron Man’s suit. It had everything but the colors. Suzuran had been meaning to get her hands on dye for this… But she needed more money for those. Hence the other reason for this job.

It was a pure white version of the suit, the eye slits having a faint blue glow, the same color as her eyes. Suzuran raised both hands, the palms glowing for a moment for brilliant light before shooting both of them off at both of the scientists, causing both of them D rank damage.

“What a mess it is around here, mind if I recdorate?” Said a male voice from Suzuran’s mouth, the ice elemental clearly smirking under neath the mask.

Now, Nothel would be confused by about two things here. One, the summon that Lexa just well, summoned. He didn't think she had that kind of power inside her. But that? Honestly? Ugh, Nothel getting outclassed by a girl. Shaking his head, he refuses to believe that this girl can beat him. He would have a chance to prove this right as two zombied, circuit filled scientists walk out with weapons. Drawing his sword, he would be ready to fight. Well, that was until the ice mage used her...spell? Wide eyed, Nothel would watch the transformation into the iron-man like armor. What confused him the most was how powerful this woman was entirely. Could she be a higher rank than him and was just holding back? The thought made Nothel angry, that he could be outclassed by two people at once.

The next confusing thing would be when she talks. Or well, what he thought was a she. When a male voice came out of the armor, it would be honestly weird. How is she changing her voice like that? Was...wait...is she even human? Nothel didn't know if she was or wasn't. Interesting. But that isn't the problem here, Nothel needs to prove himself here. Rushing forward, Nothel draws his sword, and in one clean movement impales the monster through the chest. Quickly ripping the sword out Nothel jumps back and exploits the blood from the wound to impale the creature, doing two D rank damages to it. Grinning at this ability, his turn ends and whatnot.

At the max point of the charge the angel’s ball of light it had grown to 35 feet in diameter… Just as well light is not a solid object, for otherwise it wouldn’t have had enough room to grow. “Out of the way!” Lexa shouted in her high pitched voice, cupping her hands around her mouth.

Suzuran looked around, Tony Stark gaping a moment behind the mask at the beautiful sight before him. What a beauty. It was in this moment of distraction she was stabbed by a scapel, causing her to fall over onto her knees. Were she not in her requip this would cause her to become completely incapacitated in pain, but as it were, Tony had his wits a little bit more about him. In feeling that he could still move the lower portion of his body, he figured this would be just as good of a time as any to follow the little girl’s advice.

Suzuran jetted out of the way, using the beams on her hand as a method to fly across the room and behind the little girl. “Is heaven missing an angel?” Said the male voice, chuckling a little. He was taken by Pepper Potts, but he could not help but make the joke in seeing a literal angel in front of them. He was baffled that such a thing could exist but then again… Gods from another dimension and The Hulk existed? So why not angels?

Suzuran reached to her back and pulled out the scalpel. “Sorry doc, but I don’t think you’re covered by my company’s out patient health insurance program. We’re going to have to terminate you.” If Nothel was able to see where the scapel had hit Suzuran he’d see that there was no blood where she had pulled it out. It was simply a bit of a gouge, and thin cracks came out from the point of entry. It looked more like shattered ice than cut skin.

The angel then fired the ball of light once Nothel was out of the way, causing the two scientists to get hit for 1.5x C rank damage. One of the scientists reflected the damage back to Lexa as they took the blow, sending it back and hurting the angel. The massive angel took the majority of the damage, using its mighty wings to shield those who were behind her.

Nothel jumps back, his shoulder bleeding from the return attack thing the zombies have. Gah, he shouldn't have been so stupid and let it get a sneaky hit off on him. It will heal quickly, but still it’s annoying. After hearing the call to jump back, he turns, wondering what is going to happen, and that is when he sees the giant ball of holy energy. Quickly understanding he jumps back, just in time to see Suzuran get stabbed. The amazing part was no blood came out, he could normally sense it right as it came out of the body. Did the scalpel not go through? Using his powers he inspects Suzuran to see if she has any blood in her body. Suspicions confirmed. She isn't human, not in the slightest; there are no veins in her body, no blood to keep her alive. She was far from human, or even alive. Grinning as the holy nuke goes off, Nothel charges the zombie at Suzuran from behind it, quickly impaling it through the neck. Sadly, it would counter right before it dies, impaling his chest with the scalpel. This would cause Nothel to groan as the zombie dies. He'd pull the zombie with his sword and drop it on the ground, it laying dead. He would hold his stomach in pain, letting his blood heal him a tiny bity to stop the pain.

After that, he turns towards the other zombie, but yet, he feels compelled to ask Suzuran a question. Normally he wouldn’t feel like interacting with her, but…She isn’t a she….she is a non-human something. She is always cold…maybe she is an ice elemental…Yes that is it, an ice elemental. Getting lost in his thought slightly, he lets Suzuran finish off the last zombie.

Suzuran wasn't yet able to use the energy spell again thanks to the cool down period, not her ice spell since the Iron Man requip did not know that spell. However she was very well able to punch the dickens out of the scientist while he was down. Iron Man might have perhaps more morals than Suzuran herself, but that didn't mean he was going to waste a perfect opportunity to beat the crap out of the person who would have made him quite possibly into one of their next experiments.

Iron Man punched the scientist that was still standing a few times, enough times so that even though it was a Melee attack, it was enough. The scientist did manage to get a blow in. However, a bone saw isn't as good as a weapon as one might think it is.

It only really works if the other person is standing still. It hurt of course, but it simply wasn't all that an effective weapon. It was a stupid one though.

As the scientist collapsed Suzuran wiped her hands together, as if having just taken out the trash. Everything was different about her now- even the way she moved. And especially the way she talked.

And the way she saw things. And what she saw was that Lexa had the same golden circuits that the scientists had. "This is either one hell of a coincidence or one fucked up family reunion." He said with a mild chuckle, pointing out the similar circuits in a humorful way. Tony wasn't going to jump to any conclusions.

"I know right? It's weird!" Lexa chirped, stepping forward and running her finger along one of the circuits on her face as she examined the scientists.

"Gotta wonder what they're up to in this shambling ruin." Said Suzuran in Tony's voice. "Too bad one of them isn't alive. We should ask him..." Suzuran took a glance over to Nothel, checking I see if he was on board with the plan. They had to see what these scientists were up to. And the best way to do that was to ask them, with a little bit of persuasion if need be to get to the root of it. Not that Tony liked torturing people, but these creatures the scientists had been making were weapons. And you didn't make weapons like this unless you were planning to use them. Or perhaps they were to defend something of even greater importance in the ruins.

Suzuran had not actualy killed the scientist- they were plumpeled to a pulp, but they weren't dead yet. She'd left them alive for questioning. "What are you doing making all these monsters?" He/she demanded, crouching down to look the scientist in the eye. Not that the scientist could see her eyes behind the mask the suit provided.

Nothel would quickly catch on to what Suzuran was suggesting, yet it made no sense at the same time. After she beat one of the scientists nearly to death, he walks over, shaking his head. Sheathing his sowrd in the process he starts to talk. "I doubt these things know answers, they are being magically controlled from somewhere. These circuits are magical it seem. They have no feelings or thoughts, they just do. Same with the spiders or dogs."

Nothel would then draw his sword, and in one clean cut decapitate the zombie, blood splattering Nothel and Suzuran. "But now, I have a question for you, what ARE you, my guess is an elemental, and by the cold aura one of ice. You have some form of illusion magic, or re-quip that allows you to change appearance. Quite interesting to be honest." Sheathing his sword again, he tilts his head towards Suzuran, waiting for him or her to answer the question. No, not him or her, it. Nothel was a lot smarter than he seemed, though he didn't actually seemed interested in Suzuran's answer, he already knew he was right. Suzuran could note that the wounds inflicted on Nothel have already fleshed over and were healing.

Looking forward, Nothel would start to continue down the path, wondering if Suzuran will respond. Actually, no, he didn't care. This place was annoying him, and he hated it. He wanted this job to be over so he didn't have to participate with anyone else. Little happy girl and Suzuran wasn't good company, not in the slightest.

“Don’t know what you’re talking about with ice elementals.” Said Suzuran, looking down at disgust at his bloodied armor. Seeing as that she was still Iron Man at this point she had no idea what he was talking about with ice elementals, that word not being in Iron Man’s vocabulary. Tony Stark didn’t come from a world with magic. Only a world of nuclear bombs and super hadron atom colliders underneath Europe, which was so much more normal and sensical than this world.

“I can change my appearance like this.” He flipped up the mask, showing the face of Tony Stark underneath. “But I wouldn’t say I could really change it.”

Shortly after having said that Suzuran’s body shifted back into her normal form, cloths formed out of ice just like the rest of her. “Quite astute. Yes I am an ice elemental.” She said in a flat tone, not at all trying to explain for the fact that she had just contradicted what Tony Stark had said. It did not occur to her that Nothel would be curious. Curiosity was a human or cat trait, neither of them which she could even begin to comprehend. Thus she could not fathom that anyone would have any follow up question to that or wish for a more in depth explanation.

To her it explained it all. She was an ice elemental that could manipulate her own shape, and the shape she was in could determine what magic she had access to. Also fire could make her melt into a puddle.

Nothel stops walking, smiling slightly at his correct presumption. While he may hate people, he could actually get used to having Suzuran around. I mean, she or well, it, wasn't the best talker or person. But she...yeah she was a pretty damn good and heartless fighter. He respected that. Nodding slightly, "Alright, lets finish this up then? I think I can hear the next group of enemies." Sadly, Nothel was quite right in this presumption. Quickly, the entire group would hear growling, a howl, then fast moving animals as dogs leap out of the darkness. Nothel being in the front of the party, and not having any weaponry unsheathed would have a bad time here. As the dogs leap out, one hits Nothel in the chest and pounces him, making his sword sheath come off his back and slide away.

If any children were here, they would have feinted from the scene. The dog instantly went down onto Nothels arm, biting it with a fierce jaw, trying to rip and pull it off. It was a particularly gruesome scene as Nothel tries to get the dogs muzzle off his arm. Sadly, it would tear into his flesh, trying to rip and tear some out of him. He couldn't seem to get the dog off, and without any help he is going to loose a chunk of flesh. The dog is already poisoned by the intake of Nothels blood. He would be screaming as well, trying to get the dog off of him.

Lexa screamed like the little girl she was, hands flying to her face in horror. While she was used to battles, seeing one of the people she had come with get torn at like that… She couldn’t help but be a little bit freaked out. It was freaky. She had to stop it before it went too far. She was starting to wish she hadn’t taken them down here.

Suzuran acted before Lexa could, seeing as she had not screamed even for a moment. The reason why Suzuran attacked the dog that had attacked Nothel first was completely selfish. It was simply the closest one to attack. And if Nothel expired before they got through this dungeon they would be in a lot of trouble. Thus, Suzuran could not allow that to happen. The human seemed to have a healing ability, so she was not really worried about his current state of health. But if this continued then her teammate’s heart beat would cease, and then he’d be useless to her. Perhaps Civi would like his body. Civi seemed to know what to do with a dead body. He had tried to teach her but she’d been too busy trying to catch puppies for a job she was a part of.

She skewered one of the dogs with an ice spear, dealing D ranked damage. Lexa was quick to jump in, using the blade’s ability of Gabriel’s Voucher in order to deal C ranked damage to the dog. The spell made it look like there was two blades almost being swung.

After Suzuran impales the dog, Nothel quickly put his foot up and kick the dog in the stomach, sending it far back into the darkness. Standing quickly he would cover his arm. The chunk of flesh would be hanging loosely, nearly fully bitten off. The pain was nearly unbearable, and Nothel could barely contain cries of pain. But, he has a job to do and will get it to it. Blood pours of the of the wound, but would soon harden and take the color of flesh, slowly but surely healing the fatal wound he got. Shaking his head he slumsily steps back, never has he been in this much pain. Groaning he would pick up his sword, fire burning in his eyes. Nothel's blood outside of his body would start to bubble and pop, like it was boiling. Nothel has had enough of this bullshit, and he is angry. He may be weak, but he is here to mess some enemies up. Raises his left hand with the sword in it, he would select the dog that is weak, its back exploding in blood as all the blood veins inside of it are exploded, causing mass damage to the dog (52.5 to be exact.) finishing it off. Next, he charges the next dog, quickly slicing it down the back with this enhanced fighting abilities from his UA, Boiling Blood. The attack would do 1.5D rank damage to the dog, dealing significant damage. In his rage that lasts 3 posts, he wouldn't leave the middle of the fight, even when surrounded at his point, waiting for a dog to fuck with him.

A dog attacked Lexa, biting her square in the arm. The childish look in Lexa’s eyes was gone, now in a neutral focused state. Granted, when she had been fighting it had kind of faded before, but having her arm bitten did wonders to get her in the zone. She used the blade to stab at the dog, just stab, no spells. So it only inflicted about a quarter of D rank damage to the beastie.

Suzuran took note of the new level of fighting that Nothel was now doing. She was starting to think that her groupmate had been holding out on her, rather than perhaps the more rational thought of that he had simply lost it and was going berserk. As an ice elemental she did not understand the concept of going berserk. It was an emotion based on the fiery emotion of anger. And, as had been proven many times in this thread, she was as cold as ice.

Speaking of… Suzuran decided to duck behind the little girl before attacking the dog. As wild and erratic as Nothel’s strikes were, it was possible that he might hit her if she got in the way of anything that he tried to attack. She then formed another ice spear, twisting it in the air, and only then launching it at the dog, effectively pinning it to the wall. The dog yelped, writhing as it tried to get at them. Lexa nursed her arm for a moment, then decided to cast a healing spell on Nothel. He looked like he might bleed out at any second. She had to heal him.
