nother day in paradise as Miyuki had gone and left her brother inside Sabertooth Guild Hall, back in Ace of Spades so she could do some private training. She had chosen a place that was as far away as he deemed necessary, and very strangely located so as to not attract too many people. Inside this area, a 100 meter wide sphere of energy would be formed. It was colorless, making it impossible to see without use of specialized technology use to specifically see magic concentrations, and even then, it'd just look like a magic marble. On the inside however, it seemed to stretch for miles upon miles across, varying terrains inside mimicking that of a real world. Miyuki would be at the center of it, the starting point for all who enter her world. The plane of existence was one of few places no man, woman, or child would ever be able to enter using magic or technology. This world that Miyuki had created was one specifically her own, and quite literally was a gateway to her very mind. It had been years since she last visited this place, the air was as clean as always and just the right temperature. This portion of her mind was the most tranquil zone, spanning only two miles in all directions it was a perfectly flat, level piece of land. In the absolute center was a pure white, two meter radius pillar that stuck up six inches from the water's surface. Around it was a one mile radius perfectly circular lake with water as clear as glass, shimmering blue and teaming with life.

he water, unlike the lakes of the real world, was completely devoid of anything harmful to the human body. It contained nothing but the richest minerals, and had a slightly sweet taste to it. Drinking the water here, from this one lake, would be the equivilant of having a high class mage pour a blessing of life over you. In this world, nothing stayed dead for long. Anything killed would be replaced in minutes, making it so this lake would always have fish in it. The fish, not all but some, were massive, so large that three men could sit on their heads and ride them. Strangely, these fish would be seen within school of considerable smaller fish, ones that it should be eating but instead was passively moving with. Most surprising of this lake was that you didn't need a boat to cross it, simply moving off the platform would reveal that one could stand on the water's surface as though it were a solid floor. But if one stuck their finger down, poking this 'floor' they would feel it get wet. Strange that one couldn't drown in the lake, but easily draw water from it to drink... thankfully logic wasn't part of this world.

Around the lake for two miles was a large grassy plain where a gentle breeze swept over, making the grass seem to have gentle highlights flowing about it as the wind passed. The air was a good temperature, not too hot, but not frigid ether. It had very little humidity, but wasn't so dry that it irritated the skin. At least, to Miyuki it was ideal.

hile this was all fine and amazing however, Miyuki wasn't here to have peace of mind or improve her health. While the air was fresh, clean, completely free of any and all pollution... she had no time to admire it or the scenery of her world. Miyuki raised her hand to a small, aquamarine pendant hanging about her neck and gave it a quick tug. The magnetic clasps snapped, allowing the necklace to be removed and unlocking Miyuki's power. An immense wind kicked up, blasting otuwards as Miyuki's magical presence erupted from her body like shaken soda in a shitty bottle. A massive silver light erupted upwards, piercing the sky and even escaping the world as it erupted from the sphere of pure energy, piercing the sky of the real world as well and acting like a beacon that revealed her location for all of three seconds.

Inside the world she'd created, silver flecks of condensed magic power flaked off of Miyuki, the result of her bottling all of her magic for the past five years and then releasing it all at once. Doing it was neither detrimental, nor beneficial to her health so she didn't mind using the limiter. Miyuki's speed increased drastically as she accelerated to upwards of 500 meters per second using her signature spell multiple times in rapid succession, only stopping so she can turn as the spell prevented her from doing so. At last, she arrived to a zone completely engulfed by a bamboo forest. The individual shoots were strong enough to bare Miyuki's weight flawlessly should she stand atop them, and none would bend in the slightest for those who were light. This area was the perfect setting for her to practice her craft, and attempt to advance it further.

nside this world, Miyuki had infinite magic power to draw from. She had no limit to how much pain she could withstand, nor were others limited by such things. In this world, Miyuki was the only existing god or goddess, and she enjoyed it. In this portion of her world, large creatures covered in black and white would roam freely eating from the bamboo, enjoying their endless supplies of nutrition. Dragonflies darted around, free of the fear of being killed by old age, or predators. Butterflies, clad in black with yellow in some parts flew about happily, and showed no fear at all towards other creatures. In this portion of her world, no animal was hostile, and all were unafraid of humans... unlike the real world where everything distrusted them.

Miyuki let out a deep breath, sitting with her legs crossed as she replaced the tattered, trashy clothes she normally wore and adorned a more comfortable suit. She wore a Shrine Maiden's outfit this time, which would provide her with something that was loose and easy to move in, but also something that wasn't super revealing or skimpy. She extended a hand, fingers spread apart as her entire being began to glow silver. "Forge." she said calmly, her voice sounding a bit distorted as the word came out. Several small, thin, silver lines appeared before a single bastard sword appeared floating in air. It was generic, something that the Rune Knights would put out to their non-veteran, non-shitty recruits except slightly better quality. Normally Miyuki would put more care into forging her weapons, but for what she was doing here, she didn't require anything of unusually high grade.

scroll would appear in her other hand, one which depicted five elements. Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, and Chaos were the base elements of creation. Fire and Earth combining to form lands. Water providing the life sustaining water needed for all worlds, and wind to circulate the air which all living beings needed. Chaos, a combination of life and death, would be the result of the creation of life. It was difficult to work with it as an element as it was unstable, constantly shifting, and always fighting the wielder... something Miyuki had prioritized last to attempt to train using. She placed her sword across her lap, resting both elbows on it and studying the scroll intently as the characters were strange to her. Had they been in the native tongue of Fiore, or perhaps Ca'elum, or Midi's natural language she would have infinitely less problems reading the inner workings of the spells. She understood some of it, and what she could gather was that the spells individually worked by taking an element, calling it forth with three specific words, as well as forming the characters on a weapon. After that, the nature of that element would fuse with the weapon, or weapons as it was apparently compatible with multiple blades, and allow the weapon to do more than what it normally did.

This wasn't all too dissimilar to how her current magic worked. As it stood, her magic worked by imbuing weapons with aspects of her personality, and making those very concepts reality. It was how this entire world around her was created, taking her emotions and giving them physical form.

he read over the first of the elements. It was a very light blue color that the text was written in, having a snowflake next to it that let her know it was an Ice element spell. While the element wasn't technically water, Fire melts Ice which becomes Water. If enough Ice were melted, it could form an entire lake, or a river which would become an ocean with time. The characters went ignored as they seemed strange, and complex to her, who had very little experience with oriental lettering. She looked at the translation that was written off to the side by the person who had given her the scroll. "K... Ko... ri... or is it Kuri? Maybe Kari?" she said at the very first word which was written 'Kōri' and meant 'Ice' in the common language. What gave her the greatest complication was the line above the second letter. Not being trained in the language, and having little expertise in imbuing to begin with would present a most troublesome predicament to her. "I should have hired a mentor." she said defeatedly, knowing her and her brother had the funds to do it. The world she'd created had sensed her wish, and had a desire to grant it.

Suddenly, in a building that housed many wizards, a large black hole would appear in the main hall. It would begin sucking in everything on both sides in an attempt to bring the entire building into Miyuki's world so she'd have the widest selection of mentors to choose from. Inside, anyone who had common sense would be clinging to something that was anchored to the floor to prevent being engulfed. Assuming the owner of the building were present, or was able to make it, would enter the vortex to save his guild. Upon it happening, the spacial rift would immediately close itself, accepting a wizard of high calieur over a group of powerless ones.

Post by Ardere Kasai 12th March 2016, 3:19 pm

Incessantly flipping through the pages of the book laying on the bar in front of him, Ardere let out a heavy breath. It was not often that he could be found at the guild hall, at least not found here doing nothing. He always enjoyed a good read, and when things appeared to be calm, it was the best time to relax. But this book was something written on the Cursed Lands, for a future endeavor. It was a bit frustrating to find there was such a lack of information on certain areas in those lands. Picking a route where he had any idea of what was around him was next to impossible, but fortunately he had some time. Relaxing and taking in the information placed upon the pages, his ears began ringing for a moment. For about a second, the few hairs on the back of his neck stood up. He felt the breeze roll into the guild, as a disturbance in the magical presence of the hall shifted. What could that be? Closing the book shit, he turned to the right a bit as a portal opened up in the guild. Immediately being forced to slid backwards a meter, he dug his feet into the ground. Feeling the suction of the vortex, he used his superior strength kick off of the bar stool. Unsheathing Clarent, the guild master slammed the crimson blade several inches into the floor, gripping it tightly. He waited for a few moments, but nothing exited the vortex. It seems we have a visitor, I'll be back as soon as I can. Digging his feet against the bar, he kicked off with all of his might, and was sucked in by the vortex. Maintaining his balance as much as possible, traveling through space was always somewhat disorienting. The blue of colors and swirls all came to a halt as he landed in a rather pretty looking area, one he had never seen before. He was not sure exactly where he was, but he kept his senses alert. Anyone home? His red headband falling down his broad shoulders, the fire mage awaited his answer with a sword in hand.

he sensed a ripple in the world as Ardere entered, though she didn't know it was him specifically, nor would she know who he is at all. "Someone is here?" she said out loud, not speaking to anyone in particular. She decided to wave it, knowing that when she left the world whoever it was would be instantly rejected from it. She continued looking at the page, trying to understand the damned words on it. With enchantments, at least, old ones like these... the words were the main source of their power. If you didn't have enough understanding of them, the spell normally backfired horribly.

Meanwhile, back at the platform surrounded by a mile of water on each side, Ardere would find himself standing alone. A large white creature with black blotches walked across the water surface, light blue circles appearing below its feet where it touched the water. It would approach Ardere nonchalantly, having little to no fear for the intruder. The panda would open its mouth, gently grabbing Ardere by the hand and pulling him towards the water. It would continue until he followed it, standing on the water's surface as though he weighed nothing at all. Should Ardere put his finger in the water, he'd notice his finger getting wet. Large fish with glowing marks on their tops would swim below, some large enough to swallow a small apartment in one go. None of the fish would attack, here, all things were at peace and showed little interest in eating. As though they existed and lived free of hunger, free of provisional needs... The panda would walk a straight path across the water, letting out a loud groan if Ardere stopped even for a moment.

t would pull Ardere all the way across the lake, onto the pristine grassy flat land that connected to it. Moving past to a dense forest, constantly ensuring that Ardere was following behind it by turning its large, plushie looking head and looking at Ardere for a moment. The next area was something akin to that of a super old path, laced with vines and trees that encroached on the cobblestone path. The path would take him past various terrains, and into the same bamboo forest where Miyuki was training. After traversing more with the panda, they would come to see Miyuki in her shrine maiden's outfit holding a sword. Next to her would be the shattered remains of five other swords, remnants of her failure that she kept around for study. The panda would then let out a groan, signaling for Miyuki to turn around. She stood up, setting the sword aside and staring at the man. "You're not supposed to be here." she stated while tilting her head, bearing an inquisitive look. The panda looked at Miyuki, and then the sword on the ground. "You brought him to help me?" she asked, puzzled as to how. The panda nodded, and began walking away from the two in order to let them speak. Miyuki continued looking at the man, not sure how it is that he got in. It wasn't long before she decided to go on and say it... "Who are you, and how did you get in? This world is my creation, my inner sanctum that only those invited may enter. I'm the only one who can allow passage here, but I didn't ever invite you..." the words came out showing her full confusion, not knowing the world she created could in fact act of its own accord.

Observing the world around him, Ardere was sure he had entered some sort of alternate plan of existence. The extent of this plane was not anything he could determine even with slayer senses, but he was quite intrigued by wherever he so happened to be. His purpose unknown, his destination unsure, the fire age found himself slowly pacing forward until a docile black and white creature made it's approach. Well hello there. It did not appear to be an enemy, but it was a bit forceful bringing him to where he needed to be. Oh, alright then. Walking over the water was somewhat strange, large fish swimming throughout the body of water. It was certainly a sight to behold, but his caution had to outweigh his intrigue, otherwise he could be taken off guard. The panda certainly had an agenda, as it took him all the way across the lake, not taking any time to stop and observe their surroundings, or even rest. They were now beginning to approach a structure, perhaps as beautiful as the rest of this world. It appeared to be a shrine of sorts, with a young woman at it's center. Where was he truly? Perhaps this woman could give him the answers he sought, perhaps not. The panda would finally come to a stop, and he wiggled out of it's grip. Rubbing his wrists, the Samurai dressed in red looked towards the young woman. She was just as surprised as he was to his entry into this world. My name's Ardere, and as for my entry, a port sort of decided to open itself in my guild hall. Stepping forward a bit, but not too intrusively, he placed a leather covered hand on his hip. I guess it was fate then. His orange eyes stayed fixated upon the woman, as he inquired upon their location. So she created this herself, almost like a pocket dimension.

iyuki felt a small shot of air stop in her nose as she held back a giggle at the thought of her world opening up in such a small space. The panda that lead Ardere there was sitting in the corner, casually eating bamboo leaves while Miyuki was forcing herself to withhold the burst of merriment. The man said something about fate, and Miyuki wasn't able to stop herself. A loud, high pitched set of laughter erupted from her mouth. "I'm... I'm sorry! -laughter- It's just so impossible!" she said whenever her constant fit of laughing would give her a momentary reprieve. The panda stopped eating and walked back to Miyuki and poked her with its snout. "What?" she said with the laughing subsiding. The beast let out a groan and rubbed the side of its head against Miyuki's chest. "Wait... shit he's not screwin' with me?" she said with a confused look about her. The panda let out another groan, higher pitched this time before licking her cheek. Miyuki placed her hands on its snout and lowered the face from her as she tried processing this one. "Umm... I'm sorry about that. It seems this world was reacting to my wish for someone to help me with something." she said calmly. She quickly held out her hand and a scroll appeared in it, the same one she was using earlier. "While you're hear... can you help me anyways?" she asked and unrolled the scroll, showing the writing to Ardere.

Shifting his stance side to side, Ardere's orange glowing eyes observed the world around him. He couldn't say that he had been anywhere like this before, but it was a familiar feeling. Fortunately, he had some time to spend here. The young woman and her panda, presumably a creation of the world she had laid out here, seemed quite intriguing. Keeping his sword sheathed now, he folded his red, leather covered arms. He usually wore a full suit of armor, but in his casual wear he only bore the red gauntlets. The rest of his outfit consisted of a red jacket, and black pants with red sewn into it. It would seem not. Raising a brow, he found it odd that she did not send for him herself. He had imagined he was summoned here, but it was now apparent that it was not the case. Perhaps this world was quite responsive to her thoughts and wishes, to a certain extent. Regardless of this 'accident', she did require some assistance from the fire mage. He was not surprised, fate worked in mysterious ways, and he was no stranger to this sort of thing. Depends on what you need help with. Extending his pale hand, the guild master lightly grabbed the end of scroll he had been handed. It was an odd looking scroll, but he got the jist of what it was; a fire scroll. Letting go of the parchment, he adjusted the leather straps on his jacket. Revealing a black under shirt and two necklaces wrapped around his neck, this was likely to be an interesting venture. Well THAT, I can certainly help with. Taking a few steps back the Fire King took a deep breath. It made a bit more sense now, why the world had chosen him. He was likely the strongest fire mage out there, at the least the most experienced. This came from a long legacy, and years of training. Not all of his skill was tied to his bloodline, he had a rough upbringing, and worked hard for where he was at. Where should we begin? Ms? Unsheathing the crimson blade across his back, black flames shimmered across the sharpened edges. Twirling the blade between his pale fingers, the brown haired Samurai awaited his answer. He was a patient man, but he was interested to see what she had in mind. Being no stranger to training or helping others in their magic, he had quite the way of doing things. It seemed his quest for knowledge had turned into one of spreading that information.

er eyes grew wide with hope as the stranger had said he could help with teaching her some stuff, raising a new sense of hope in the young woman. Miyuki immediately slammed herself into the random man's stomach with her arms wrapped around him, her cheeks bright pink and eyes slamming shut as she squeezed him. Miyuki was filled with joy that not only was this man able to read the stupid letters, but he was able to help her learn to use the magic the scroll was speaking of. She quickly released the man, taking a few steps back and giving a playful twirl. The youthful appearance, and overwhelming energy she had, accompanied by her large smile would make arguing her age rather difficult. "I'm Miyuki by the way!" she exclaimed as she continued to seemingly glow with happiness. But soon, her expression shifted to minor sadness. A pained expression took over her face as her body relaxed to a more mellow, depressed posture. "Mister... I'm glad you said you can help me, but the fact is this world is sacred... understand that you can't tell a soul about it." her voice seemed as though she were contemplating something, considering alternatives or consequences perhaps?

    "Relocate."

The single word was spoken and soon the world changed from a lush, bamboo forest to that of a wide open, grassy, flat plot of land. A gentle breeze blew over, the air was cool which would provide a grand training ground. "I'm not sure if you know me from Sabertooth, but almost all of us know of you Mr. Kasai. Or at least, all of us who care to learn the faces of our fellow guild's masters that is."

he held out her hand, a few silver lines appearing in a linear pattern on both ends. On the one side of her hand, the pinkie side, the silver lines were rather short; on the other, the thumb side, it was much longer. "Forge." she said calmly, a near perfect Katana appeared from the lines that was black in color. "From what I could gather, those scrolls detail how to incorporate elements with weaponry. The first thing I need to learn is what those symbols mean, and then how to enchant swords. After that... I... need to learn to use this thing..." her arms flopped to her sides, allowing the blade of the katana to tap the floor. Her voice was rather defeated sounding and her head hung low as she spoke the next part. "I've only ever used a broad, or bastard sword... so a weapon that originated in Midi like this one... this... Katana thing... I can't use it properly." Miyuki turned a bit red while thinking of Itori. "There's also this one person back in the guild... this person's skill is godly... but I don't wanna embarrass myself by messing up infront of 'em" her voice was shaky at the thought of screwing up in front of Itori, though Miyuki was careful to not mention Itori's gender. "You see... my friend is rather precious to me... I'm not in love, I just don't want 'em to see me screw up. I live with this person, so the humiliation would almost never go away..." Again, keeping her friend's gender ambiguous with careful wording, though she turned blood red as she mentioned the concept of being humiliated in front people she knew. "Whats more none of them know the extent... the existence.... no one knows I have magic at all." She corrected herself quite a few times, causing her eyes to grow sadder as she realized that there really was no one she could share her world with.

So you can throw me to the wolves
    Tomorrow I will come back
    Leader of the whole pack
    Beat me black and blue
    Every wound will shape me
Every scar will build my throne

His slightly laid back demeanor had changed to a more playful one, it was not very often that he got to show off his favorite techniques. Combining his swordplay and god slaying flames had become one of the firmest roots in his combat style, one only admired by his daughter, but he was sure the young woman would have some notes of her own. Nodding, and with a slight bow, a smirk crossed his pale lips. Of course young miss. Your world, your rules. Clutching the blade tightly in his right hand, Ardere stretched his arms. He had a feeling that his muscles were going to ache by the end of this.

But in that moment, everything shifted. It was almost off-putting as the world around them changed into a grassy field. The Samurai imagined a weak minded person would find themselves wrapped up in a severe case of vertigo, but he seemed to be fine for the time being. His temporary pupil's control over this plane was quite fluid. Taking a casual stance in response to her statement, Ardere gave a slight bow. It's always refreshing to be thrown back to your roots. Nice to see a Saber around. Sabertooth and Infinity Hydra were still in fact sister guilds, having fought together on more than one occasion, even though their goals didn't always align.

Nodding at the young woman's statements, the Fire King tilted the crimson blade back and forth a few times. I see. So that's where I come in then. Sounds like quite the experience. Unclipping the buckles attaching his cloak to the red and gold armor he bore, the brown haired man tossed it aside. The fact that I'm not one to gloat should allow me to convey my sincerity here, but. I have crossed blades with Samurai, Musketeers, Paladins of Pergrande, Minor Gods, and even the wielder of Excalibur. Speaking of which, the sister blade to that one; Clarent, would be the one in my hands right now. Crafted out of Ca-Elum steel hundreds of years ago. Twirling the blade around, he swung it to the side, lifting up the grass and incinerating it within the span of a second. So I'm sure your friend will appreciate your skill after we train, and hopefully, you might teach me something. There's always room for learning, even after all of these years. Smiling courteously, Ardere waited for her response.
