    This is just a test app and a way to get the idea out there.


    Job Title
    : The Noble Court
    Rank: Contested. 

    Player Requirements:  Two players of close rank.  (A-S,  S-H.  B-A.)  Players roll in a separate topic to determine who goes first,  seeing who gets the highest number on a "Normal Dice" roll, OR simply letting the other go first.
    Whatever happens within this job is canon.

    Job Requirements: No minimum post count.  Instead,  the length of the job is dictated by the dice and however long you can manage.     If the opposing player does not post within 3 days of the other's post,  the last one to post wins the job.
    To complete the job,  you must identify the spy before the spy can complete their goal,   or as the spy (Aggressor) dine with "The target" during which post they can complete whatever their intentions are.  (Assassination,  or getting some sort of information out of them).
    This must be done using Dice.
    Players can only roll the dice ONCE per post.

    Job Location: Wherever agreed upon, so long as it befits at least a middle-tier noble family or government facility where one might host a semi-public formal event like a ball.
    Job Description:
    Defender
    The defender has been hired as or as part of a security detail for an event.  This can be something obvious like a guard standing by the gate,  or as an undercover "agent".
    Alternatively,  they can be attendees themselves if they are of sufficient NOBLE standing.  Mages mean nothing here,  not even a Wizard Saint.  This is an event for the elite of nonmagical society.
    Your goal is to keep things safe,  and later when alerted IC find the spy/aggressor and keep the target safe.

    Aggressor:
    The aggressor has been hired or by their own agenda is set out to lure a specific target.  Typically a nobleman or woman of some sort,  keeping in mind that "Nobleman" is just an off-hand title.  That "Nobleman" could be involved in all manner of dealings and business.
    Your goal is to find your target, and lure them into giving up whatever secret it is you want to talk out of them,  or to slip something in their drink or otherwise kill them.

    Ultimately it is a race to see who rolls the third monster dice first. (Tracked separately.)

    Enemies

    Rolling 10 weaks counts as 1 normal.

    Rolling 6 normals counts as 1 Strong.

    Rolling 3 Strongs counts as 1 Boss.


    Boss
    Defender:
    1st: You've just been tipped off that there is a spy.  You don't know who, what they're after,  or when they might appear.
    2nd: You learn who the spy is after.
    3rd: You learn who the spy is!   This can allow you to arrest them,  and publicly ruin their disguise.   You win,  but things can still happen.

    Aggressor:
    1st: The target appears!  
    2nd: The target invites/accepts you to a dance.
    3rd: The target takes a liking to you (If RP'd believably), and will sit at a table and dine with you.   You win,  but things can still happen.

     
    Reward:
    Winner:  The winner gets a number of jewels of 10,000,  doubled for each rank beyond D.  20.  40.  80. 
    They gain experience equal to the rank of the opposing player as though it were a job rank.  (H = 10y).  This cannot give them more XP than 50% the XP required to rank up from their current rank to the next (Not counting current XP possessed, just flat out B-A rank xp for example).
    Defeated: The defeated gets half the jewels and XP as the winner.

    Bonus reward:  Kidnapping/Hostages!
    If the aggressor takes anyone hostage or kidnaps the target,  they must get away with it for 20 posts.  If they get away with it,  they gain double the reward.
    If they fail and the Defender recovers them,  the defender gets double the reward.

    Note:  You can lose,  then kidnap.  If you are successful in kidnapping after having been outed as the spy,  you both gain the full basic reward.   Likewise if you failed to out the aggressor first but then successfully warded off the kidnapping/recovered the victim,  you both gain the reward.

    Bonus reward: 
    If either kills or imprisons the other,  they automatically win. This confers no bonus reward unless previous conditions are met as well.  In which case it doubles the reward   If the Kidnapping is also met,  it triples the base reward (Not doubling the already doubled reward).

    If one player kills the other,  the other player gains the reward the defeated would have gained and the defeated gains nothing.   If no win-states were met,  then double nothing is still nothing.
