Name:
Old Ring
Rank:
Artifact+
Type:
Ring
Description:
A gold coloured ring with a cyan gemstone on it that doesn't look like it's anything particularly special. Like with her necklace, Seru awoke with this ring without really knowing what it is, yet it provides her with strange abilities. It has no other real use other than what it can give Seru, though she trusts that the ring has more meaning to it than what is currently known. When comparing the two, the ring is significantly "younger" than the necklace.
Strengths:
- Quite small and hidden in Seru's armoured gloves.
Weaknesses:
- Seru can only receive the effects of the ring while she wears it.
- This ring doesn't give Seru any direct offensive or defensive abilities.
Abilities:
(S-Rank) Unseen Threat: This ability allows Seru to do numerous things, though they're pretty similar to one another. This first is for every attack Seru performs, the next one will be concealed, thus meaning it cannot be seen. It's exactly as it sounds on paper - it's just a normal attack that cannot be seen; Seru can choose not to use it, however. The other portion of this passive applies to when Seru dodges, blocks or parries an attack - she will immediately retaliate with an attack so fast it's basically impossible to see; it's an instinct that's built in her, and thus doesn't count as an action so it won't disrupt anything she may be doing, no matter what a spell or ability may claim. All of these attacks however aren't really empowered in any other way, which makes them "regular" in that sense.
(S-Rank) No Room To Spare: This ability increases Seru's striking speed by a significant amount. With this ability, Seru will be able to attack an additional 6 times per second with her regular strikes. She can decide to further amplify this and increase it so that she can strike an addition 15 times per second for a single post, though it will send this ability on "cooldown" for 3 posts, and she won't be able to increase how many times she can strike per second from 6 to 15 again in a thread.
