'Block Dice' :

It was a point-blank attack, so there was no way he could miss.
It was at a point that was just too quick for Giyo to effectively block.
It was also a trick that was literally right under Aldous' sleeves. Well, at least over his sleeve AND now pressed against Giyo's chest, ready to unleash its attacking payload.

Floating right on top his attacking right forearm was a single invisible circular seal, its interior area blank and empty, but its circumference lined with a bar of runes. Only Aldous can see this seal and even if others could, only his trained eye could identify what this seal could do, out of the 100 of its brethren. Amterasu Formula #8 was not designed to be used like this. It was meant to be a homing plate-sized disk, fired out with a swing of his arm from afar, targeting and chasing down its target. But for this particular time, Aldous decided that he had to use it like this. He had experience with this type of usage, but not enough for him to be truly ready for the backlash.

And thus with a soft, inaudible voice, Aldous spoke out his traditional voice command. "Amaterasu Formula #8: Breach Disk!" For a split-second, a black purple-edged glow erupted over Aldous' vision and probably Giyo's as well. And then the sound of a tank shell exploding as it made contact with its target. As the glow faded away, Aldous felt a hot shearing pain that was over the surface of his right forearm, the cloth on it having been burned away and the skin on it now feeling almost moist, as if it had almost melted away by the heat as the man jumped back away, creating a 7-metre gap. As for Giyo, the boy's head and legs were still visible but his upper torso was completely engulfed in a metre wide wave of black fire, said wave probably smashing against his chest. The concussive force should be enough to send Giyo flying back 3 metres back, increasing the distance between them to 10 metres, as well as smash his chest with a huge concentrated impact. The fire should burn his chest's flesh with great intensity, as well as overwhelming Giyo's sight with its intense black light and melting his skin right away.

It was effectively a killing move, but Aldous was confident Giyo had been ready for it. Thus after extravagantly flinging his right arm back to this side, Aldous smiled as he knowingly got his stance to get ready for a very possible counter-attack. Not only that, a single large complex seal, invisible as well, was already beginning to activate in front of him, aiming towards Giyo. Second part of the trick. 'I hope you are ready,' Aldous thought in his head.

Sheesh! Giyo said as the dark flames engulf itselves on him.It was annoying,clearly.But since Aldous had started to use magic,so will he.A magic circle appeared below Giyo,marking the starting of his magic's usage.Giyo,now with Gravity Force Field spell activated,cleared the dark flames away.Now that's better. Knowing that Aldous WILL have another atack to follow with,Giyo used his Gravity Manipulation spell to repel himself randomly.Finally he stopped,facing Aldous's backside.With a smile,Giyo used his Gravity Magic to attract the metal tiles of the arena towards Aldous,hoping to crush,or even thrust his body using the hard metals.The metal tiles regurgitated,the gravitational force applied on them too strong for them to resist,breaking them to pieces.The metal tiles,now broken to pieces,flies towards Aldous from almost all directions.

"Is that how you fight?" Aldous blinked in thoughtful analysis as he felt the slight change in the feeling on him called gravity and witnessed the feats Giyo displayed under the manipulation of his gravity powers. It was an impressive ability being able to manipulate one of the four natural forces and probably the most common and powerful one at that.

However, if he was just gonna pull metal shards at him.....

"IT'S NOT ENOUGH!!!" Aldous yelled in a battle cry as his final seal, a large circular seal filled with complex sigils, appeared right on top of him, its firing face pointing straight down at him. The moment it appeared, the seal contracted into a plate-sized circle, before shattering into a thousand fragments of glass. "AMATERASU FORMULA #21: VORPAL STALAGMITE!!!" That very instant, every single one of the shards, which were approaching Aldous in a dangerous , were all wiped out from the face of the Earthland as a massive 7-metre wide stalagmite of dark energy shot up into the sky, engulfing both the smiling Aldous and Giyo behind him. The impact from getting hit by this spell was equivalent to a house slamming right on top of you and then a train just running over you from below you. Aldous was hit by the spell, though the effect was softer thanks to him being the master, thus he was only just winded and bruised by it. However, for Giyo, it may be an entirely different story.

However, at the same time, something else was also heading for Giyo. After his last attack, Aldous had extravagantly flung his arm back once before preparing his Stalagmite. This was actually a fluke. He had swung his arm because, unknown to Giyo, he had two Breach Disks on his arm. One of them was already used in its close-range attack against Giyo, but, the second one had been sent flying to the side unbeknownst to Giyo when Aldous had swung his arm. And right now, as it headed straight for the target enveloped in the pillar, this second disk was crashing towards Giyo for a second blow.

Giyo was excited.This is the first time he saw a magic that would consume the user himself.Wow,that was awes- Giyo did not had the chance to finish.He heard a spiraling noise coming from his back,and he knew it wasn't good to let it be.In a response,Giyo activated Gravity Force Field,saving himself from the flame disk.Nice,i wouldn't have noticed if it wasn't for the noise. Giyo commented,amazed.He then starts his counterattack by charging towards Aldous,with the intention to hurt him.Sending a set of attacks,Giyo finished the attack set using a spin kick,facing his back towards Aldous.However,Giyo continued by his strongest,for the time being, spell.Take this! Gravity Drive: Dual! Giyo shouted,two condensed gravity balls appeared on his hands.Giyo spinned to face Aldous,quickly swinging the balls toward his abdomen.The balls unstabilized the surrounding particles,causing an explosion.Giyo,safe from the explosion in the Gravity Force Field,hoped that attack would work,backing off.

Having strengthened himself a bit in close combat from his experience, Aldous felt little pressure from the carelessly executed combination of kicks and punches. Sure, the increased gravity amplified his punches by a bit, but they were only truly boosted if they came coming down from above, which Giyo had overlooked in his ability. Because he had dispersed his attacks by so much, the fact that he had missed 5 of his attempts to hit Aldous made it even worse, as the three that did hit him left nothing more than simple bruises and while his footing was still a unsteady from his own stalagmite a moment ago, he could still find the strength in him to continue standing.

Without hesitation, as Giyo came charging at him from two metres away with those two balls of gravitational energy, Aldous immediately responded with his barrier. But instead of pointing it at Giyo, Aldous pointed at the tip of his fading stalagmite up in the air. "AMATERASU FORMULA #13: FOUR-SPIKED SHIELD. COMBO: REDIRECTED STALAGMITE!" At his command, a large circular seal with four triangles at its border appeared just touching the top of the energy cone, before completely consuming the energy stalagmite as its effect activated upon contact with the spell. Aiming it straight down at Mr. Graphfey, Aldous felt stress on his nerves as the shield spell up above unleashed its absorbed payload at him. Instead of a stalagmite pointing up in the air though, the Vorpal Stalagmite was sent ripping horizontally through the air, straight at Giyo with its energy point, the explosive power from the Shield causing it to be even stronger. As it engulfed Mr Graphfey in its giant energy mass, no doubt injuring him, Aldous did not hesitate as the gravity balls were now released at him from within the stalagmite, hurtling through the energy as they were about to explode.

"AMATERASU FORMULA #15 and #16: CROSS AND SWORD!!" Aldous immediately reacted fast enough as he raised his left arm, the large black cross on his left forearm facing up straight at the two balls, which combined to form a single explosive, thus only one block roll was needed. His attack would have been more effective if Giyo had chosen to use them one after the other but it seems that was just one more of his mistakes, as Aldous' Cross easily took the explosion, sending him sliding a metre back but otherwise uninjured, thus distancing the two by three metres. Fluid as ever and not losing a step, Aldous kept an eye on the silhouette of Giyo's being damaged inside the energy cone as his right arm produced the bright vague one-metre-long blade of energy that was the Sword. Placing it on top of his Cross, Aldous focused on his target as he tried to once again control his new spell.

He succeeded. Finding within him a steadiness he thought he never had, Aldous fired out the crossbow projectile perfectly on mark. The Cross and Sword combined together to form a large shaft that was two-metres long and as large as a person's chest. Due to its nature as a combined attack, it was also C-rank in attack power and hence Giyo's Force Field should not be able to defend it. If it hit Giyo, it would end this duel, for it would be powerful enough to pierce through his entire chest and pin to the wall of the arena. Naturally, it should have killed him if that happened, but the nature of the arena made it such that magic were not able to kill people. Therefore, Giyo would just defeated outright. Either way, Giyo would be heavily damaged by both the Redirected Stalagmite and the Cross-Sword.

Hoping that his attack worked, Aldous kneeled onto his knees as he felt himself try to catch his breath. He had used a lot of his energy doling some of his powerful attacks. He just hoped he did not need to use his greatest attack of them all.

"Heavy Rain....," Aldous muttered under his breath as he raised his hands up into the air, preparing that massive invisible seal that would be needed for this spell.
