Hosenka. What a refined place this was. Hot springs essentially scattered just about anywhere - the town of relaxation. A place where he could finally kick off his shoes, and sit down for a drink, mind at ease with the lull in his work of jobs — not that he really was working hard to begin with. Despite the dedication into at least earning enough jewels for new clothes, and food, not a single guild member knew of his location. Or at least, he slightly hoped they didn't. As much as he enjoyed the company, rather than sitting at the end of the bar, drinking alone — spending his money on others was a nuisance that eventually left him with empty pockets. Sometimes it rather surprised him how greedy humans could be compared to the people of his own lineage. Regardless, he took his time savouring the strong liquid that ran past his throat, fluffy white tail exposed as it fluttered back and forth in a sign of elation. The few people in the bar glanced his way briefly, seemingly at awe with the fact he had ears and a tail. Though their curiosity eventually died off, it was nice to receive a bit of attention, even in a place where someone like him, was very uncommon to find. A gentle sigh parted from his lips, side of the crown resting against the counter as he twirled the glass around within his free hand — observing the liquid as it chased desperately in circles against the pressure of gravity.
"Hey, bartender." he paused, "Are those springs really as good as everyone says they are?" vermillion irises faltered towards the young man across the counter, drying off dishes with a worn cloth. "Why don't you try it out for yourself?" he replied, a soft chuckle resonating from his throat as Maru leant back up, somewhat pouting. "I don't want to waste my money on something that might be terrible!" the wolf whined, sliding his glass forward, "I'll have a little more of that though." as the structure of solidity was deluged with more alcohol, he took it carefully into the grasp of his hands before placing it back onto the wooden surface of the counter — a soft clunk! sounded as the ice within the glass stirred slightly. Already an hour passed, and he felt disinterested just sitting here isolated with the bartender who barely spoke at all. Maybe it would have been better with more people around, though, for some reason Hosenka felt partially abandoned at this time. He wondered if there was something else going on that drew the humans away from such a lavishing place.
