what were comrades again? the people that stand by you in war? the ones that join you for a drink and attempt to make conversation? or perhaps they were only there to keep you company from time to time. anything more couldn't be allowed. if one deluged themselves to deeply into his heart, there would be no more room for secrets and lies. simple meetings, simple talk. you're going to have to be persistent if you want the actual term of friendship to apply to this relationship. otherwise, you'll be nothing more than a presence to fill the void of his lonesome.

cowardly. those that seek conflict with him, will find themselves often chasing his tail. known to fall into misunderstandings, or say the wrong things at the wrong time, it is not uncommon to see him being chased by a group of bandits or knights. he dislikes conflict, as he finds it troubling and pointless, often aiming to resolve misconceptions or faults and not to form a hateship. it is hard to become the enemy of one whom so desperately evades those that seek him in a fury. impossible to find, let alone bicker with, nothing more could make him salty if you question his past.

i'd go through the step of friendship before you consider diving head-first into this category. he has never been fully committed to anybody before. its safe to say he's actually quite scared of opening his heart up to anybody.
