History:
Javel, born Javellerion Fukami vi Polyphemus, is not from Fiore nor is he from Ishgar. He comes from a different land and was raised in a different tradition and setting compared to that of Fiore. Javellerion was born to a family of knights that served to protect and keep order in their society; his father was held in high regard as the general and a war hero and Javellerion had much to do if he was to inherit his legacy. The society of Eidith, though prosperous in its own way, held a dark secret; it was run by dark magic and necromancy. The Blacks Arts were utilized by the leaders of Javellerion's home kingdom with good intentions, to keep order and to discourage aggression from outside forces in times of war, and were what made Javellerion's family lineage of magic possible - Requip: the Soul. The people of the kingdom baptized and mutated themselves with dark magic into demons to grant themselves powerful abilities. Using luminaries of the kingdom's past to support the present long after death was the power that Javellerion's family lineage of transformed eye demons had utilized ever since the beginning through the power of the 7 Legendary Soul Cloaks.
Javellerion did terrible as a knight-in-training, despite having a long but honored career ahead of him. Compared to other squires, he was a slow learner and was anti-social with his peers. He lacked the attitude to fight honorably and was very rash in his training, being a very problematic student which greatly disappointed his father. But like most delinquents, Javellerion eventually got his act together and slowly made progress with his effort. Unfortunately, everything that came to an abrupt end when, one day, he and his father by an unknown assailant, a dark mage so powerful that Javellerion stood no chance against. Defeated, he watched helpless as his father was cut down by the mage; and as spoils of war, 6 of the 7 Legendary Soul Cloaks were released into the real world and stolen from the kingdom's grasp.
The tragedy shook the entire kingdom into a state of panic. It took a sharp turn for the worst when their council accused him of murdering his own father when the evidence pointed against the former. Blamed for a crime he did not commit, Javellerion was sentenced to death by public execution. Defiant to the end, however, Javellerion left his homeland before he could be captured and sought to find the real murderer to clear his name. At the age of 16, his home kingdom of Eidith deemed him a traitor and sent their forces after him...
His efforts to track down the dark mage responsible for his situation landed him in Fiore. With luck, he was able to smuggle himself into the country without alerting the Magic Council, whom had much more important matters to worry about for him to be priority...at least initially. The kingdom had followed and had came into contact with the council and as a result, his notoriety increased exponentially. Javellerion found himself ruthlessly pursuited and chased out of one town after another. A wanted felon, there were very little options for him to choose what to do. And thus he endured 4 years of hell, suffering at the mercy of Fiore with no help or future in sight. Eventually he had enough; to find dark mages, he would have be one and as such, Javellerion abandoned his name and took the alias of 'Javel' and masked his appearance to hide his true identity. This would be the beginning of his mark as a dark mage...
