Username: Emilia Crohil
Secondary Magic Name: Strength of the Lichborne
Evidence of Accomplishment: https://www.fairytail-rp.com/t19182-emilia-crohil-s-secondary-magic-training-private-emi-mashyuu#222274
Description: Necromancy runs deep in Emilia's family, mostly starting on her father's side. At one time, one of her ancestors had attained mastery over the forces of life and death, bending them to his every whim. He made himself into a lich, one of the most powerful forms of undead. His power was so great, the corruption of his soul so deep that it was passed down through the generations, giving some members, particularly those who were capable of utilizing magic, traits of the undead. Emilia is one of these family members. She walks the line between the living and the dead, the normal and the unholy. Only through dying several times in the time gem and nearly dying several more times was she able to unlock her potential. Perhaps the most fearsome effects of this magic are her ability to sap the life from her opponents and the fact that she grows stronger as she nears death.
Note: I spoke to Hika about this already, and she was fine with it. Emilia is basically going to learn her spells in reverse order and have them scale with her up to their respective ranks. Her S and A rank spells she learns immediately, and they scale at her rank and 1 rank below her rank, maxing out at S and A rank, respectively. She learns her B rank spell at B rank, it's her rank -2 and scales up to B, and so on. She still only acquires her signature at S-rank.
Strengths:
Emilia's damage scales as she loses health
Emilia heals based on her damage done, so the lower she is, the more she heals
Very intimidating
Weaknesses:
All of Emilia's healing is based on her damage, so she can't heal unless there are targets for her to attack.
Most of the spells are melee
Boosting damage requires her to take damage
Most spells have rather simple effects, which can lead to being fairly predictable, if Emi isn't creative enough.
Abilities:
Effects: These effects aren't really abilities, more just things that her magic causes that aren't beneficial, and at some points, detrimental.
Altered Aura- Emilia's aura registers differently than most. It's warped and twisted, and feels like a strange mixture of living and undead. For those who have encountered her before, her presence is easily recognizable. Additionally, despite her somewhat unholy nature, it isn't enough to actually have holy or unholy magic affect her any differently than they would affect a normal mage.
Deathly Visage- As Emilia approaches death, her eyes begin to glow a pale blue color, with the glow increasing in intensity the lower health she is. Additionally, her body begins to appear withered and rotted, though this is in appearance only, and has no effect on her capabilities.
Trail of Desiccation- As Emilia's attacks drain the very life from her opponents, their bodies are as empty husks of what they once were, it's clear that their souls did not leave their bodies naturally, but were pulled out before they died.
Spells:
D-Rank Spell Name: Gravecall
Rank:D (Unlocked at S-rank)
Duration:1 post
Cooldown:2 posts
Type: Summon
Description: A small portal opens up about 2 meters off the ground anywhere Emilia chooses within 2 meters of herself. From the wormhole drops a skeleton that will assist Emi in battle. For some odd reason, skeletons will occasionally appear with a trumpet. Skeletons disappear when they die or blow themselves up, and do not explode when using "Dead Again"
The skeleton can only be killed by spells or blunt weapon strikes.
Spooky
Short cooldown
Weaknesses:
Very short duration
Bone Slayers can eat the skeletons
Metal Slayers can eat the trumpets they occasionally spawn with.
Skeletons must destroy themselves to do any significant damage.
C-Rank Spell Name: Dead Again
Rank: Emilia's rank -3, up to C
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 4 posts
Type: AoE Attack
Description: Emilia raises one of her hands and all corpses within 30 meters of her explode, dealing spell rank damage to targets on top of the corpse, and 75% damage to anything else within 2 meters of each corpse. Destroyed skeletons from Gravecall will not explode from Dead Again. While the corpse explodes with a burst of blood and gore, this doesn't deal any damage (though the effects of being sprayed with blood and gore may vary). The actual damage from the spell is due to whatever scraps remain of the corpse's soul/essence of being detonate in a burst of pure energy, augmented by some of Emilia's mana. The color of the explosion will also vary based on what the corpse was. Bodies of undead will unleash black negative energy, normal creatures will release white bursts of life energy, fire elementals-like creatures will release bursts of firey energy and so on.
Strengths:
Can take enemies by surprise
Multiple corpses close together will provide multiple hits
Weaknesses:
Requires corpses to be within range of the spell
Requires enemies to be within range of the corpses
Does not detonate "living" corpses, like zombies and other undead unless they've been made redead(?).
B-Rank Spell Name: Soul Tap
Rank: Emilia's rank -2, up to B
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 3+1 per rank above D (max 4)
Type: Heal/Offensive
Description: Emilia's next successful melee attack against her target deals additional damage equal to 3/4 of the spell's rank and heals her for the damage dealt. The effects of Life Hunt do not apply to this spell.
Strengths:
Simple and effective
Heals Emilia as well as dealing damage
Weaknesses:
Requires Emilia to make a melee attack
Life Hunt passive does not apply to the damage of the spell
Reduced damage from a normal spell
Longer cooldown than normal
A-Rank Spell Name: Blood Pittance
Rank: Emilia's Rank -1, up to A
Duration: 2+1 per rank above D (max 5)
Cooldown: 4+1 per rank above D (Max 7)
Type: Buff
Description: Emilia injures herself severely, usually by stabbing herself with a weapon. Through proper channeling of magic as she harms herself, she is capable of converting the pain and damage she deals into vastly improved physical abilities. When casting this spell, Emilia loses 30% of her maximum HP, but gains a 60% buff to all physical attributes except endurance (strength, speed, reflexes, etc.). This buff cannot be altered, reduce, extended, or cancelled by other means, not even limit trancendence. Additionally, this buff is not reduced in effectiveness for being lower than her current rank.
Strengths:
Provides a massive boost to her physical capabilities
Cannot be nullified
Weaknesses:
Shorter duration than most buffs.
Significantly longer cooldown than duration.
Costs HP and MP to cast.
Emilia has to stop what she's doing to inflict damage on herself.
S-Rank Spell Name: Devour
Rank: Emilia's Rank up to S
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 4 Posts + 1 per rank above D (max 8 )
Type: Offensive/Support
Description: Emilia bites her target, or at least comes close. She doesn't have to make actual contact for the spell to take effect. Instead of simply biting normally, she bites at her opponent's life force (or similar), sapping away at the very energy that makes up their existence. This spell deals her rank damage and restores a percentage of her mana equal to the percentage of the enemy's maximum health dealt (For instance, if she hits someone for 10% of their HP, she restores 10% mana). Damage dealt by Devour can only be healed with soul magic or similar.
Strengths:
Damages her opponent and heals her.
Demoralizing, since who wouldn't be disturbed by a woman literally biting your soul.
Emilia can combine this with an actual physical bite, in which case the damage from her bite (unarmed attack damage) would be treated separate from the spell in regards to restoring MP.
Weaknesses:
Melee
Leaves Emilia in a bit of a vulnerable position
Powerful enemies will restore less mana to Emilia
If the opponent dodges or negates the spell, the mana is still expended with no reward.
S-Rank Signature Spell Name: Soul Tear
Rank: S
Duration: Instant
Cooldown: 3 Posts
Type: Damage
Description: With a melee strike, Emilia drains away a large portion of the very essence of the target's being, crippling them by dealing rank damage to the target's maximum HP. Targets will recover this damage at the end of the thread. The damage to max HP means it cannot be healed back with regeneration, healing spells, or anything similar, but it does not reduce the power of any % of health regeneration or healing (unless of course this would bring them over the reduced maximum HP).
Strengths:
Cannot be healed by normal healing spells or regeneration
Weaknesses:
Requires a successful melee attack
Despite being a signature
Damage is not increased by any damage buffs.
Is rather ineffective against targets already below max HP, since it won't deal any damage to their current health. All it does is prevent healing at that point.

Abilities:
- Undying Might- Emilia's damage increases as her health drops. Her damage is boosted by 1% for every 1% health she is missing. The damage bonus caps at 40% when she is down to 60% HP.
- Life Hunt- With each attack, Emilia absorbs a portion of whatever energy it is that keeps her opponents going, whether they be living, dead, or something else entirely. Emilia heals for 12.5% (1/8 ) of all damage she deals. The fact that she sap's her enemy's energy with each attack allows her to hit ethereal and other usually incorporeal beings.

The skeleton can only be killed by spells or blunt weapon strikes.
