Sat atop his throne in the middle of the cemetery surrounded by countless tied up captives, which he used for the purpose eat sucking the life force out of; the captives were akin to a light snack kept around for when he desired a taste of a soul. He could see a foolish soul entering his realm, he was frightened. Lichborne was actually surprised that anyone, especially some so weak as the soul he was seeing would come to meet him willingly and alone. "oOo, this one must be the most idiotic person I've ever seen... I guess somethings did change since I've been gone... people have shrank in their intelligence infinitely." He let out a ghoulish laugh that echoed across the land.

"... You have GOT to be kidding me."
With those words, Aegis looked at what was infront of him. Something best described as certain and unquestionable defeat. The ammount of magical energy he felt from the one standing atop his throne was disturbing, however that was not what bothered the knight the most. What worried him most was the ammount of darkness and corruption he could feel emminating from that person.
Taking a look around the area, Aegis knew that he had somehow stumbled upon his foe's lair, meaning that if he tried escaping right now he would probably get attacked from behind almost instantly. Cursing his carelessness, he recreated Fervour in his right hand and assumed a low stance, ready to to evade incoming attacks. He knew that he didn't have to wait long until his foe descended upon him, so he stood motionless, extending his awareness to the area around himself.
Winning was clearly not an option. He just had to make sure he didn't loose.

Lichborne felt like making this as long and dragged out as possible, he would probably meet someone this stupid again. He decided he'd use his weakest spells and would slowly work his way up the ladder of power until his "threat" was extinguished. He continued to walk until he was in front of Aegis Bright. "So here is how it's going to go little one, I'm going to toy with you. I'm going to use my weakest stuff on you and work my way up the ladder. You'll last as long as you can and who knows... maybe you beat me..." He last words sounded like he was containing his laughter as he let out a few snickers while saying them. "I'll even let you start our bout. Please go a ahead... fire when ready!" He said as he drew a target circle on his torso with eldritch energies.

It was all quite irritating, really. Aegis, a person who devoted his life to being the "hero needed to oppose evil" was now faced with one of the many faces his greatest enemy has, yet he clearly knew he had no chance to defeat it. That feeling of uselessness was something the knight could not bare. After all, he became what he is now in order to never feel that way again.
"Thanks, but I run a courtesy of not striking first when I don't know what to expect in return." - said the knight, looking his enemy straight in the eye.
"Besides, I didn't get your name."
There was a reason to Aegis' stalling. He used the time to prepare and activate the Mind's Flow technique, aswell as examine his enemy more closely. He was wearing a full plate set of armour that seemed to eminate it's own dark aura that piereced through Aegis' soul, as if hundreds of lost souls screaming for help at once. His skin was ghostly white, scarred and covered in archaic-looking tattoos, implying both him performing ancient rituals, aswell as possibly using them for some sort of magecraft.
Clearly, this was a man who had devoted his life to dark magic.
Gritting his teeth and squinting his eyes slightly, the blue knight remained focused on the figure of his foe. The slight mist that had appeared underlined Aegis' slightly glowing eyes which showed no fear, only determination. Determination to not grant his foe victory.
