Decisive hand to hand battle! Giyo vs TehDMCmaniac!

Giyo went in the arena.No one was there to spectate,though.Giyo,who lost in his first battle against Aldous with a cause of fatigue,wishes to do his best in his second battle against his new opponent, Aegis Bright, whom Giyo looked upon to fight.Giyo spectated Aegis's fight against Hirana,alongside Aldous.

"Well then,here I go!"

Giyo said in a high spirited mood.He wants to really have a good battle like he did with Aldous.Expecting Aegis Bright to be a strong opponent too,Giyo waits for him to enter the arena patiently.

"Hahaha, a normal hand-to-hand combat without magic ? I'm in."
Those were the knight's only words when he heard the unknown Fairy Tail mage's challenge. It had been a long time since he had a normal fight against someone, and even though Aegis' normal fighting style included a lot of hand-to-hand fighting, even when wielding a weapon, his opponents usually fought with some form of magic, often ranged.
Needless to say, he was eager to test his challenger's prowess in melee combat.

Walking in the arena, Aegis couldn't help but notice how thiese fighting grounds were becoming more and more like a second home of his, considering how often he visited them.
As he calmly reached the middle of the arena, he casually greeted his foe with a smile.
"Yo. Ready to fight ?"
Taking advantage of the time before the fight, the knight detached the armor he wore on his left arm and placed it on the ground next to a nearby wall before turning back to face his opponent.
"But first, I never did introduce myself, did I ? My name is Aegis, pleased to meet you."

Amazed by the knight's appearance,Giyo introduced himself just like Aegis did.

"Hi.I'm Giyo,and I hope for a good battle!"

He said as he put a big grin on his face.It's the second time he felt such excitement.As Giyo sets his custom battle stance,he prepares to attack.

"I'll go first,ok?"

Giyo said to Aegis as he starts dashing towards him.Upon reaching combat range,Giyo tempts to send a left hook on Aegis's chin,continued by a kick on his abdomen.Giyo hopes for the attack to work,as his strategy lies 60% on those attacks.

"Well well, what do you know Aldous? That kid is taking another shot and at someone you admire as well."
"I'm not surprised he got himself into another fight, given his fervent determination he places in search for one, but against Mr. Bright? I did not expect that Mr Graphfey to actually go that far."
Sitting on the same place where he had spectated Aegis Bright's battle with Hirana, Aldous was happily chowing his noodles down together with his talking bicycle Abraxis at his side as he watched on. The arena, which had been empty in his last presence, was now more filled, possibly due to the reputation of the mage knight.
Either way, it should make for a pretty great battle, as long as Mr. Graphfey could keep himself on his toes against Mr. Bright's fluid style.

"I'll go first,ok?" - the last thing Giyo said before initiating his assault. Upon hearing his words, Aegis assumed his combat stance. Turning to the side, the knight had his left side facing his foe. He positioned his right fist close to his chin while keeping the left one close to his hips. Preparing to react to the oncoming assault, the knight couldn't help but smirk. It was going to be fun.

As Giyo reached Aegis, he attempted to land a hook on the knight's face.
"Too slow !" - yelled Aegis as he leaned backwards, avoiding the punch. While doing so, he noticed as Giyo initiated a a kick aimed for the knight's stomach area. Realising the opening his opponent created for him, the knight immediately shifted his weight forward and, using his whole body, threw a palm strike at Giyo's face, strong enough to stagger him for a second or two, allowing for the knight to continue his assault by leaping towards his foe and striking him with a left knee to the chest.

Due to his forward movement by the palm strike, Aegis closed in on the opponent, becouse of which Giyo's kick did not hit Aegis correctly, and as a result was mostly useless and did not damage him much.

Giyo cheered for a while,having managed in dodging the knight's both powerful and harmful attacks.Without further delay,Giyo attempts to send a kick on Aegis's chin,continued by a punch on the knight's left shoulder,then a blow on his chest,which will cause the knight to fall back a few metres,if it succeeded.Starting his attack,Giyo shouts out;

"ARGHH!!!!"

As a sign that this time,the attacks will be hard and it will cause the knight great pain,if he fails to defend against them.

The man infront of Aegis managed to block both the palm and the knee strike and initiated a counterattack, attempting to kick the knight in the head. The cyan-haired knight could not ask for a better opening.

Immediately dropping his stance to the ground, he spun around, delivering a right sweepkick, knocking down his foe. Continuing the motion, the knight fully completed the spin, raising his stance back up as he was in the in the last 90 degrees of it, and raised his right leg to a completely straight vertical position. As he aimed it carefully, Aegis dropped his leg down, delivering a powerful axekick to Giyo's solar plexus. Definitely something that would leave him ghasping for air for some time.

Giyo were frustrated,his attacks were cut by a mere sweep kick.Falling down,he know he had to do something before the knight could pull any attacks while he is lying down on the ground.Giyo,having predicted an axe kick,crossed his arms on his solar plexus to absorb the kick's impact using his both arms.Not wanting to get air lost,Giyo inflicted the pain on his arms,rather than letting it hit its target,which would lead to battle difficulties.Giyo rolled away from the knight,staying away from possible attacks.Standing up a few metres away from Aegis,Giyo put a big grin on his face,finally getting more interest in continuing the fight.

"Heh,Give me more!!"

Giyo shouted as he dashed towards Aegis in a zig zag pattern,which he hopes by doing so will create a distraction on Aegis Bright's mind.Closing from left side,giyo sweeps his right leg to give a good ol' kick on Aegis's left knee,wanting to immobilise him.Giyo continues his strike by elbowing the knight's left shoulder,which missed its target,before jumping and doing a heel drop on Aegis's head.Finishing his strike,Giyo backed off a few metres for his safety.
