Personality:
When you look at Roku, you normally get a very warm, gentle vibe off of him. It gives an expression that he is an easy going person, which is true. Roku is the type of person you’ll catch not off training twenty-four/seven but someone who is training both their mind, and their body at the same time, as one who is using swords should. When he’s not doing that he is normally traveling, caring not to spend much time in one place or another for too long as it’s mind numbing for him. To stay stagnant means he isn’t learning. If he isn’t learning, then he’s not doing what he needs for him to get back home, as that is his number one priority in life, other than taking care of his sister. Onto his sister, Roku tends to try to take care of her whenever she needs help. To him, he sees her cold outlook on life rather amusing, but to him he sees it as horrible with people skills. While she isn’t related to him by blood, he does take the time to call her his sister, and try to set her up on dates with nice people, guys currently, so he can try to get her to warm up. If only he could do something about her always shooting people. Perhaps he should start buying them Muttsu proof armor. After arriving in this dimension, Roku picked up a heavy dislike of dishonesty. People lied to them quite often upon getting there, and often times tricked them. Many of them didn’t get out unharmed, but it was still something that generally allowed Roku. Roku is rather passionate about things, like when it comes to his gems. He has a great like for gems, or jewels in general. He likes to collect them as a hobby he picked up at home. Fair warning, if you like your hand, keep it away from his shinies.
In battle, Roku is odd. While yes, rather hot headed, and quick to strike, he still studies his opponent as he fights them, looking for holes in their stances for him to slip in and deal with. His style of fighting is actually one that is reserved for head on fighting while adding in a flourish of other stuff so to distract the person he’s fighting, throwing them off track in the midst of combat. Using a combination of fire, his blade, he likes to make it quick once he knows how they fight. At the same time, he dislikes fighting big groups of sentient life at once if he’s by himself. He likes honorable fighting. Not some type of 10 on 1. It’s not fair really. In terms of being a leader, that comes natural to the man, as he learned as a young age to take charge in situations so that chaos doesn’t set in. He prefers being the top, as taking orders really isn’t as easy as one thinks it would be. It’s not so easy to control a raging inferno.

- Knowledge: As a direct link with his origin, Roku loves to learn being as he’s not from the dimension. He wants to learn all he can in hopes he can help it.
- Traveling: Actually a reason he first joined the Sleeping Forest is his love of traveling. He is able to go out, and do all kinds of things with someone else able to cover his traveling costs.
- Fighting; Roku isn’t your average mage who tosses spells, and hides behind shields of magic. Oh no, he’s the type of get in your face and end you quickly type of person. He loves the adrenaline rush from it all.
- Gems: Something of an obsession of his. He likes to collect them as he has some sort of an obsession with shiny things. Beware, don’t take his shinies. Things will get violent.
Dislikes:
- Thieves: Generally they are the one thing Roku can’t stand. It’s one thing to mug someone, that way they know it’s happening, and another to loot a body. To be underhanded, and take things without others knowledge is just out right rude.
- Closet Perverts: Flat out and simple, these are the people you gotta worry about since they are the ones that are more likely to snap and do things. He dislikes them because of how dishonest they are with their motives, and such.
- Fakes: He dislikes anyone that calls themselves things like swordsmen, and all they do is swing around big swords. Having a sword doesn’t make you a swordsmen, just like having a gun doesn’t make you a real gunman. Gotta know how to use it.
- Dishonesty: People who lie, or try to hide the truth from him is rather irritating, and so much to the extent that he tends to lose his temper is he catches them in a lie.
Motivations:
- Find a way home: Roku isn’t from this dimension, and as such he somewhat dedicates most time that he spends not on a job trying to find a way to reverse what he did.
- Be recognized as a Master Swordsmen: Growing up with a blade was one thing. He was recognized back home to have been a great user of a blade, but here true swordsmen were few, and far between. He wants to be recognized as a real master at one.
- Find love for his sister: His sister is rather much of a ice queen, and he feels that she will find herself alone in her old age because of this. He tends to go out of his way to set her up with guys at times if they seem nice.
Fears:
- Not being able to return home: As one can figure, Roku wants nothing but to get home. He feels the pain every day that he will never be able to see.
- Muttsu getting hurt: Other than his sword, Muttsu is the only other thing in the world that he has that connects him to their old world. Seeing her get hurt, or dying would break him.
- Screwing up again: He is afraid of using his sword, and one day using the technique that flung them there again, sending him somewhere worse.
