Magic
Primary Magic: Shadow Dancer
Secondary Magic: (None at the moment)
Caster or Holder: Holder (Mask)
Description: Shadow dancer is a form of Shadow magic that is uniquely versatile in the fact that it utilizes the basics of Requip and Summons magic; mostly because it grants the user sole access (unless they wish to bring another) to another dimension comprised of shadow and beings made out of the aforementioned element. This power is granted by an extraordinarily powerful magic item (in my character's case, his mask) of which only one exists for each dimension. The user accesses this dimension by way of a portal, through which the mage can bring beasts, entities, or items through. Alternatively, the caster can enter this portal and step into the alternate world itself. In this dimension one can perceive people and animals but cannot be perceived by those in the normal dimension. The user can also create portals in the otherworld and facilitate them to appear in different places in the regular world. Additionally, the shadows from the otherworld can be manipulated by the user to form temporary items or even be used as attacks by themselves.

Lineage:
Gold Rush
Description: Centuries ago, a tribe came to Fiore from a continent that is so incredibly far away that to this day those who ventured to find it have failed; the tribe members claimed to have come from a place called "Egypt". Wherever the tribe went, they prospered beyond belief; to each country and continent they went to, they rose to become the most powerful group of people there. Eventually, they were captured by all dark guilds at the time for their fortune and ability to prosper, and when the tribe refused to cooperate, they were all killed. Luckily, some were not captured, so your bloodline still lives on today. However, you must be wondering - "How did they do it?". Well, it's quite simple.
The tribe from Egypt, which were known as Egyptians, were cast away from their homeland by raiders with absolutely nothing. An Egyptian goddess, who was saddened by what could potentially happen to her people, cast a powerful spell over the tribe to make them the luckiest people on the planet (literally!). Because of this, the tribe was able to find a significant more amount of jewels, items to sell, and they were said to be so lucky that they could even cheat death and danger; of course, that wasn't the case when they were completely obliterated...
Ability: The user is given 3 passive abilities and 2 active abilities, though they can only ever choose one ability from the passive and active parts of this lineage. Whenever going on a job, the user must always pick from one of the following abilities:
* Increase your own jewel reward by 100%
* Find a custom weapon, item, or armor (rank depends on the difficulty of the job; you get to choose the type of item)
* Increase the jewel reward of you and ONE other participant of the job by 50%
The user's active ability are the following:
* The user is able to sacrifice their EXP gained from jobs for additional jewels
* The user's luck will become at its peak (as though you needed any more...) and will now have great things overall happen to them. This ranges from getting a simple kiss from that one special person, to having your opponent stumble, causing them to, even if narrowly, miss the direction they were sending their spell at.
Usage: Lineage has three passive abilities and two active abilities; you MUST pick one of the passive abilities at the start of any job. The second active ability of this lineage can only be used once per thread, with a duration of 4 posts; again, you can only pick pick one of the two active abilities.
Whenever the second passive ability of this lineage is used, the rank of the weapon/item/armor is found at the following job ranks:
* D-Rank: Nothing
* C-Rank: Strong
* B-Rank: Strong+
* A-Rank: Strong+
* S-Rank: Legendary
* SS-Rank: Legendary+
* 10Y: Legendary+
* 100Y: Artifact
Whenever the first active ability of this lineage is used, the jewels gained for the amount of exp sacrificed is as the following:

Additionally, the shadows from the otherworld can be manipulated by the user to form temporary items or even be used as attacks by themselves.
Strengths:
- The shadows from the otherworld can be used to blind opponents for a short amount of time before they disperse.
- The denizens of the otherworld can be brought through the portals to aid in battles or act as mounts, but only through convincing them to help first.
- The otherworld can be used for storing items.
Weaknesses:
- Portals can only be opened and used in shadows.
- Any creatures or weapons formed from the shadows of the otherworld are not very effective to against light-affiliated defenses and are exceptionally susceptible to light attacks, causing them to have a 25% debuff to attack and defense.
- Only organic beings in the regular world can be observed from the otherworld, correlating to the occasional "Help! I went through the portal and accidentally got stuck in a wall!".
- The portals are stationary in their dimensional space. Therefore, they cannot be used on a moving platform such as a train, because the train would leave the portal floating in the air above the tracks as the train continues to move.
- Being in the otherworld will cause allies unaccustomed to it to develop an extreme sense of lethargy and motion sickness.

- Spells:
- D Rank Spells:
Name: T’ila Seyifi
Rank:D
Type:Shadow Offensive
Duration:3 posts
Cooldown:4 posts
Description:The user kneels down on one knee and reaches into a portal on the ground. They then gather a mass of shadows and holds it in one hand and envisions holding a sword while passing the other hand along the length of the imaginary blade. This will shape the sword out of the blob of shadows. The sword can then be used in battle until it dissipates.The blade disappears after three posts. The blade can be broken by 2 D rank or 1 C rank spell(s) and can only hit one target at a time (unless multiple enemies are standing uncomfortably close to each other).
Strengths:- The blade can be manifested in any place that shadows are present, neutralizing the need for carrying a weapon.
- The sword is weightless, thus reducing the effort needed to wield it.
- The shadows can become tangible or intangible at the wielder's will, enabling it to pass through most defenses. However, it will not deal damage to an enemy whist doing so.
Weaknesses:- The sword will be rendered ineffective against light affiliated enemies and cannot be used to effectively block light attacks, causing it do have a 25% debuff against light enemies and attacks.
- If used in harsh sunlight, the blade has a 25% chance of deteriorating a post early.
- The mass of shadow used to make the blade will very rarely become stuck halfway through the portal, causing the user to not be able to develop the sword and therefore waste MP. There's a 3% chance of this happening.
- The blade cannot be summoned in the absence of shadows.
Name: āsit’era āwirē
Rank: D
Type: Shadow Supportive
Duration: 3 posts
Cooldown: 4 posts
Description: The user opens a portal and sends a burst of energy into the otherworld, signaling a friendly shadow denizen to come and lend its assistance. The creature is then able to traverse the bridge between the worlds by way of the portal and assist in combat. The denizen can only do D rank melee damage and has half the hp of a D rank mage.- Era's Companion:
Strengths:- Denizens can be used as a mount and to carry items.
- Denizens act as a tank in battles, drawing all NPC enemy attention to itself and away from its allies
Weaknesses:- Denizens are vulnerable to light attacks. The denizen will take 25% more in damage from light attacks
- Denizens cannot enter well lit areas.
- Denizens deal 25% less damage to light-aligned enemies.
Name: atsaukties līgumu
Rank: D
Type: Shadow, Supportive
Duration: 3 post
Cooldown: 4 posts
Description: To make this spell work the user must travel back into the otherworld where he must find the denizen in which he wishes to make a contract with. Pursuing on, the user convinces the denizen to give him his strength within the otherworld and the denizen will grant the user a portion of it's power, giving him enhanced strength and vitality. Once that process is finished the user will travel back out through the portal.
Strengths:
[*]The user's maximum health will increase by 20% for the duration of the spell.
[*]The user's physical strength will increase by 25% for the duration of the spell.
[*]
Weaknesses:
[*]There may be a chance that the user will lose control due to the unnatural flux of power happening within themselves.
[*]If the user loses control he cannot do anything to stop their ensuing rampage, which may cause them to hurt a teammate or a loved one.
[*]The user's physical strength is weakened in normal form by 5% for two posts after using this spell.
[*]
Name: ēna šķēpi
Rank: D
Type: Shadow, Defensive and offensive
Duration: 1 Post
Cooldown: 2 posts
Description: within a radius of 15 meters the user is capable of raising spikes made of shadow from portals opened the ground. Like the T’ila Seyifi spell, the user kneels, but instead of placing their hands into the ground, they roughly shove them into it with more force sending their magical energy out in zig zags pattern that when pointing up causes a ring of shadow spikes to raise up out of the ground around the caster. These spikes protect the user and can take up to 2 D rank or 1 C rank spell before they break.
Strengths:
*Acts as if it's an immediate shield
*Can do severe harm which is good for missions having to do with monsters
Weaknesses:
*Although it does act as a shield there's still gaps where an enemy can get through
*The user could accidentally harm somebody so it is important they check to see if it's ok to use the spell but if not it's difficult to relocate the position of the fight
*The user would be in the center so there's always a chance they may not have any gaps to go through to escape their own spell and therefore they'd have to wait for the spikes to dissipate- The blade can be manifested in any place that shadows are present, neutralizing the need for carrying a weapon.
