There were seven of them, not just one or two. But seven. How did a person misplace seven puppies!? This thought passed through the head of a pink haired girl as she ran down the street. She was looking for these said puppies. Grumble and curses escaped her lips as she ran. She was used to this running but she was starting to get tired. Evia had checked every nook and cranny of this stupid town. She no longer wanted to run. the owner of the puppies seemed not in a rush. Why should she be? With a huff the girl stopped her running and began to walk down the street. Shew was still looking for those stupid puppies. Her hair brushing her middle back as she walked the pinkette scanned the ground she went over to alleys and pulled things away from the wall, looking behind them before putting them back.
She had talked to several people in the town trying to figure out the last place that the puppies had been seen. By the butcher getting food from him, by the bakers feeding off bread near the meadow, playing around in the grass. yet no matter who she asked they all had different answers. But, there was something that the mage did notice every time that she asked a person. All of the puppies were together. It wasn't just one puppy by their self. All seven puppies were with it. Were one went they all went. Pink lips pulled up into a smirk, this had just made this search all that much easier. Now she wouldn't have to look for individual puppies and waste her time looking for them all she just had to look for one and she would find all of them.
that is where the girl got stumped where would all of he puppies go? This was beginning to make the Lamia Scale mage mad. it was like the other person who acted like a puppy. Or a wolf as he would say it But he always looked like a puppy to her unless... No... Evia trailed her thoughts off and stopped in her tracks. Her cheek began to flush all over again. She had began to feel this fuzzy feeling ever since the last mission that she had been on whenever she thought of a certain grey haired mage, He was like a puppy when he got attention, yet, when he was serious and when she was in danger he looked like that of a wolf. He was protecting his pack. The fuzzy feeling that the girl was feeling was beginning to spread through her body and the girl quickly shook her head. No. No No No No. Not now, not ever, A quick shake of her head and the pinkette tried to erase the emotion that was flooding her veins. She wouldn't allow herself to feel that way until she knew who she was. What if she found out after she had... you know and brought bad things upon both of them. That and also he was weird, he did nothing other than sleep. He was disappear for days and then come back and sleep.
with a huff the girl quickly shook her head again. She would not think of that boy now. Not now not ever in that way. it wouldn't happen she wouldn't let it happen. But, no she had to focus on finding he puppies that the owner had so clumsily caused the loss of. Her feet padded against the ground as she wandered the streets. It was the middle of the day they had to be somewhere in the shade. A groan came from the girl and she wiped the back of her hand on her forehead as she stopped in the shade of a alleyway. What she wouldn't give to say screw it head back to the house and say , sorry bro, your dogs are gone. good luck. But she knew that was not what a Lamia Scale member would do. They would stop think it out and then continue. Wait. Stop. Think. Continue. Evia smiled and closed her eyes. What was something that the puppies would miss the most?
Their mother.
Where was their mother?
Back at the farm.
The smile on her girl's face grew and she opened her sky blue orbs before lifting herself off the wall and made her way back to the farm. She crossed it and found the pen where the mother dog was laying and not to her her surprise lay seven puppies curled up against her all sleeping. Done. The small smile on her face grew until it was genuine. Job done.

Evia smiled down at the puppies looking down at them only to narrow her eyes. There was something wrong. One of the puppies was missing. Blue crystals snapped wide and the young woman counted the puppies again. There was only six. Seven there were seven puppies. How could she miss count!? Her hands flew to her hair and she ran her fingers through it. Shit. A groan escaped her lips and the girl then looked up at the sky. Shit, shit, and shit again. Curses pawed through her head before the crysal blue orbs looked back down at the puppies. Only six of them. There was one missing. She had just run all over the town in search of these stupid dogs only to have missed one? Thinking back on it the mage felt bad that poor dog was out there with no one.... The grey haired man appeared once again in her head looking at her with the eyes that could melt a person's heart and the girl let her hands slide down to her eyes Before rubbing them and letting them drop to her sides. Fine. She would go back into the stupid city and find the stupid puppy that stupiy got lost. She took one last look at the puppies inside of the cage the pinkette made her way to the front door and knocked on it softly. She waited for a moment before the door opened and the man who had let the dogs go came out.
"Did you find all of them?"
"No, there are six in the own with their mother I came back thinking that they would all be here but there are only six.... One is still out there. But I have no clue as to where he would be. I have asked people and checked everywhere. I have absolutely no idea as to where he could be. I am gertting consented and I am afraid that someone might have taken him or the dog wandered too far off and for himself lost." The girls voice slowly grew into that of a panic and her hands began to shake as stress began to seep into her veins.
A thundering pain spiked in her head and the girl fell to the ground. Her hands gripped her pink hair and clung to her head. It hurt. It hurt so much. Is this what had happened when she forgot all of her memories in the first place? No. She didn't want to forget now. She had so much going on in her life so much more that she wanted to do with the people that surrounded her at the guild. Sobs began to wrack her body causing for her entire being to shake as her breaths sped up and begin to become frantic. No, no, no, no. She didn't want that.
A sudden warmth out of no where appeared on her skin and the girl shrieked out and skittered back. Danger. She didn't want to go back. No She did. She didn't. But she could remember what she didn't go back to. With fear stricken in her eyes the mage took off in a sprint away from the person on the porch.
She kept running. Running from everything and everything. She couldn't remember where She had come from and she didn't want to remember. She knew that pain came with it and an image flashed through her head. Bodies scattered long the ground, blood and pieces of the bodies scattered the ground. Who could have done that? Why had they done that? How could they have done that? The girl had frozen in the midst of her running as the image fluttered to the top of her mind. There was more to it. She wasn't on the ground looking up at the person who had killed all these people she was looking down at them. Her feet slowly began to move forwards and the girl felt numb had she done that was she the person that had killed all those people? Fear struck through her and the girl began to panic once again. Her breathing became quick and her eyes began to unfocus themselves before black took over her mind.
Dark it was all so dark outside. Her eyes opened and the image that had flashed through the pinkette's was now right in front of her and she was a part of it. The bodies were below her and she couldn't help but look at them. There were pieces of clothing that were on the ground died red but as the girl looked closer the clothing once had been white. White coats, were they scientists? What were they doing before? Was it something good and they had been killed cause becaues it was something that other people didn't want them to know? That she didn't want them to know? The idea of killing them continued to flash through her head She expected herself to fear it and to feel disgusted but that was not what was happening. She felt sad for the people below her, she felt mad and sad. These were not emotions that she wanted to feel as she looked at the bodies below her. Panic began to run through her mind again and her heart beat sped up. She knew she killed those people. But why had she? Who was she? What were they doing before she had killed them? She was a murderer for something that she couldn't remember.
Finally the image began to change and the girl was able to move her head. Moving it side to side the pinkette realized that she was inside of a building. A lab perhaps. It would make sense the scientists on the floor dead and the class and chemical smell that reached her nose. Chemical smell? Was she remembering more? But with what she was remembering now, did she want to remember more? If everything that had happened before her memories was like this she didn't want it. She didn't want to know about it. Feeling something on her hands the girl shivered. Did she want to look down to see what was on her hands? The blood that she knew would be there. But knowing that she had already killed all of the people before her she braced herself for the worst and looked down at her hands. Yes there was blood. But there was also wires. Why was their wires? More questions popped into her head and the mage wanted them to be answered she wanted more now. She had been satisfied with not knowing who she was, but now she wanted to know. Trying to push at the boundaries of the dream a wall blocked her. Halting her process before acting back against her and black was all that she saw once again.
Something soft nuzzled against her cheek. Something wet. It was whimpering. Tired eyes flickered open and the girl looked down at the thing that was nuzzling into the side of her face. Something a butterscotch colour was curled up next to her. It was warm and soft. An animal that was relatively small and fluffy. Slowly the girl began to sit up. She looked at the thing that was nuzzling into her. It was a puppy.... The missing puppy? Evia hoped so. She didn't know how much more she could take today. Her hand shakingly hovered over the puppy before petting it. She was still shaking her hand trembling against the soft fur of the animal. It was trying to comfort her. It knew that she was lost too. Finally lifting her head to look around she found that she was in a meadow outside of the town. She had run this far away from the fear that she had? Her eyes flashed once again in fear as she remembered to dream that she had and the the girl curled up with the puppy in her lap. She didn't want to go anywhere, just wanting to stay there. Away from pain and fear. She was running away again.
Gathering up all of the courage that the girl had left she stood up and picked the puppy up with her. She looked down at it and smiled. This was the last one and it had found her. Birds of a feather stick together. That was the saying right? But it didn't matter now. She was safe, he was safe they both were safe. But there was something new to the girl. Who was she? What was she? What was her life like before her memories were taken away? More questions popped into her head than they were solved.
Evia finally made it back to the farm house and she knocked on the door with the puppy in hand. The door opened and the man walked out onto the porch to see who it was. Upon seeing the girl with the puppy he smiled and shook his head. He wanted her to keep it instead. But Evia wouldn't stand for that. In exchange the girl wouldn't accept the money. It was a deal.
