CALL OF THEWILD
As normal, Fairy Tail's guild hall was bustling with sound from its members, and at the center would be the young maiden, Kanix Laspor. She made her way to one of the wooden tables, where she would set her staff against the side of it and take a seat on the bench. Unfortunately, she didn't have the motivation to do any jobs, she had done many of them already and they no longer appealed to her. For once, she didn't mind sitting around for a while, just listening to her guildmates; the sounded far happier than her anyway. Kanix would stare down at her hands, that were clasped in her lap, and a smile would briefly grace the pretty woman's face. A lot had happened before she joined Fairy Tail, and she was amazed that she hadn't been slaughtered by Famine right away. Maybe that's why she loved her new guild so much... because she could trust they would protect her from any harm.
So much had happened to Kanix, and most of it was stuff that she barely remembered much of or nothing of it at all. Her mind would not let her physically remember all of the bad things that had happened to her, and maybe that was a good thing... The woman would let out a relieved sigh and pull her hands from her lap, placing them, together, onto the top of the table.
"You know, I'm blessed to have been given a chance to redeem myself," the shamaness woudl speak to herself in a low whisper. Her hand would raise up to the temples of her head, in which she would press her fingertips to and gently rub the sore areas. "Well, I think we would've just done better if we had killed them all... fooled them into believing that we had changed... But... we did change, don't you see that? We changed for the better!" Kanix would sigh and pull her fingers away from her temples.
