Personality:
Sandile doesn't particularly show much emotion, unless it is provoked. Its size doesn't much allow it to be intimidating, but once he gets mad or hurt he gets this intimidating aura around its body. He doesn't seemingly care about many things, but does hate any sort of blue and white bear, as they seem to just be so cold for him to really handle being around them and will just leave the area to get away from it until he is strong enough to be able to beat it in a one versus one fight. In most circumstances, this creature simply just states 'Sandile' and walks around, however, it doesn't say it if no one's around, because it is actually saying stuff but it just comes out audibly to everyone except other quadruped creatures.
Sandile's personality slightly changes in battle, from being near carefree to being intimidating and protective of his friends. This means that Sandile will stare down and fight an opponent if they are of the same strength or stronger than his opponent, but will crawl into the sand an strike from below once he notices the opponent is any bit stronger than him. This creature really dislikes being a subordinate, which is why it prefers to be a leader in the team cause of how intimidating he can be. So also no one questions him or challenge for his spot as leader even those he doesn't wish to scare them but only to protect them.
While Sandile doesn't much caring to being trapped in anything or hold against its will. He prefers to be touched, petted, and hugged by a person or another animal but leave touch his tail. Should his tail get touched by another living being that Sandile doesn't give consent to do so, he will shower them with sand that seems to always get stuck to its body while crawling around in the sand all the time. Should his tail be grabbed, it will become enraged and start flailing around an biting at whatever has his tail grabbed with. Showering them in sand and even kicking rocks. If the perpetrator of the fin grabbing let go, he shall turn around an stares down whoever grabbed his very sensitive tail. If it cannot get away by running away, it will simply just dig down into the ground to get away.
Sandile love to be around heat this is why you will normally only found in deserts. It usually burrows under the surface, with only its nose and eyes above the sand. Due to being so close to the surface, it can move around the desert and allow the heat of the sand to regulate its body temperature. Being cold is not good for Sandile he will freak out to the point it will jump out of the sand and start flailing around like a fish out of the water. This is a reason to he refuses to go anywhere cold or into any body of water cause of the chance it will freezing cold.

Appearance: Sandile is a short, quadruped with a long snout and tail. Its body is mostly light brown with the exception of black stripes crossing over and under its legs and its pink underbelly. It has a black stripe on its snout in front of its eyes, and black covering the tip of its tail. Its long snout is tipped by two protruding nostrils, and its mouth comprises the bottom half. Its feet are flat and contain three sharp, black claws. They are attached to stubby legs on its sides.
