Magic
Primary Magic: Hero's Blesing
Secondary Magic:
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description: The Hero's Blessing is fabled to be the magic of the Warrior Saint himself. This is, of course, nothing more than bar stories and guild legend. The true origins are unknown. What is known, however, is it's uses. It is meant for a true warrior, used to strike down enemies of the hero and friends of evil. It requires no pure heart or mind or body. The magic serves it's only purpose of aiding it's caster. An adept can use it to summon familiars, amplify his strength, even conjure weapons of pure power. The offensive techniques of this magic usually take the color red, while it's defensive techniques are blue.
Jason often uses the Hero's Blessing to augment his abilities, dishing out powerful melee attacks and using it's weapons. With true mastery of the art one can have the strength of an army at their fingertips. Jason's hack and slash style of fighting pairs well with the Hero's Blessing, aiding his strikes and blows with it's own power. Like him, it thirsts for blood and glory. It drives him, and he answers it's call.

- strengths:
- The Hero's Blessing pairs symbiotically with a Wizard's physical combat.
- Even if a Wizard is not particularly adept with certain weapons or armors, the Hero's Blessing seems to pass a knowledge of it's own of these through it's spells.
- The Hero's Blessing is a very balanced magic, teatering between defensive and offensive.
- Several spells can be used at once, allowing each of their effects to stack. This is not the same as spell mixing, as the spells are still seperate and can be dispelled or targeted separately with their own durations and cooldowns.
- The Hero's Blessing pairs symbiotically with a Wizard's physical combat.
- Weaknesses:
- Very little side effects come with this magic. Things like burn damage and area of effect spells are rarely found.
- Generally the Hero's Blessing's spells are short ranged.
- Hero's Blessing has little to do with elements and the like, meaning mixing spells with comrades can be tricky.
- This magic is rather simple and easy to figure out, meaning if someone has found a good counter, it will likely work for the entire magic.
- Hero's Blessing is not a light or dark magic, but very simple, meaning it has no supereffectiveness against any certain enemy.
- Very little side effects come with this magic. Things like burn damage and area of effect spells are rarely found.
Lineage: Hero's Heart
- Unique Abilities:
Gas Powered Swords - A rather obvious effect of Hero's Gift, melee weapons aside from his own fists grant Jason an extra 25 percent damage output.
I'm Unbreakable - Except not really. Jason's magic was built for straightforward fighters, so it comes with a bit of extra toughness. Jason enjoys a ten percent protection from damage sources.
I've still got some left - Hero's Blessing's fighting spirit gives Jason extra stamina. He has ten percent more MP than he should.
- Spells:
- Hero's Slash:
Rank: D
Type: Offensive
Duration: 1 Post
Cooldown: 2 posts
Description:The most basic of even the simplest of Hero's Blessing's spells. Jason's weapon is charged with a powerful magical energy, giving it the ability to do 20 damage with one swing, plus the Weapon's own damage output.
Strengths:- Can work with any weapon, including a gun, applied to the bullets instead of a blade in which case.
- Adds onto a weapon's own damage.
Weaknesses: - This does not make the weapon itself stronger, so if it is blocked by a higher level piece of equipment it is negated.
- The user must physically touch or be very close to the object in order to cast this spell.
- ends if the user loses their weapon or is disguarded. (Not accounting, obviously, if a bullet were shot.)
- Can work with any weapon, including a gun, applied to the bullets instead of a blade in which case.
- Hero's Armor - Left Arm:
Rank: D
Type: Defensive
Duration: 3 Posts
Cooldown: 4 Posts
Description: This spell is cast on the user themselves, surrounding their left arm in a light blue spectral piece of armor. This armor shields the caster from 75 percent damage of D rank spells and melee attacks, as well as reducing damage from higher level attacks. 25 percent for C ranks, 15 for B, and none for higher.
Strengths:- Blocks damage from d ranked attacks and reduces damage from higher ones.
- Adds it's protection to the protection of the user's already worn armor.
Weaknesses: - Only covers the left arm.
- The user has slightly obstructed movement while wearing it.
- Is not a weapon, and therefore adds no extra damage if used to punch something.
- Blocks damage from d ranked attacks and reduces damage from higher ones.
- Summon Shield Brother - Minor:
Rank: D
Type: Defensive/Offensive
Duration: 3 Posts
Cooldown: 4 Posts
Description:This spell conjures a familiar to fight alongside Jason. It takes the form of a zombie-like fallen warrior weilding a simple sword and shield. It takes orders directly from Jason, taking hits and dishing out D rank melee damage.
Strengths:- Familiar will take hits for Jason without hesitation
- Cannot be mind controlled
Weaknesses: - Familiar is not particularly strong, only dealing the minor melee D rank damage of 5 HP.
- The Familiar can be taken down rather easily with two D rank hits, one C rank, and so on.
- Is not exceptionally fast, it's max speed being a D rank walking speed.
- Familiar will take hits for Jason without hesitation
- Warrior's Inner Power:
Rank: D
Type: Offensive, Buff
Duration: 3 Posts
Cooldown: 4 Posts
Description:This spell grants it's user an extra 25 percent speed, 25 percent melee damage, and 25 extra HP for it's duration. What was not damaged of the extra HP by the time the spell duration is ended disappears.
Strengths:
[list]
[*]The user's offensive stats are boosted for a short period of time.
Weaknesses:
[*]This does not boost the user's defense, so spells are still taken at their full force.
[*]The user is not actually healed by this spell, so any wounds taken before this is cast are still in effect. (Sprains, bleeding wounds, poison, etc.)
