Books! Books Everywhere! (Social/Open)

Waddling into the library, Zork had let himself into the guild.  The hall seemed relatively empty when he entered and appeared to be lost within.  The short frog made his way into the grand library, appalled and amazed at the vastness of knowledge held within.  While books weren't exactly his thing, he did marvel at the wealth of knowledge in an unofficial place.  He would have expected a library this massive within Era, not a small podunk outpost nestled within the mountains.  Zork turned his head at the sound of someone plopping between two shelves.

Hearing this, Zork realized he wasn't alone.  Though, having joined the guild and having given himself the tattoo, he knew that simply flashing the tattoo would make the others think he was a new recruit; which he essentially was.  It's not necessary to get into Zork's background, just know that he's a 2'5" tall frog of green skin.  A strong scent of frog permeated throughout the library which Zork was completely oblivious to.  

Walking along and through the library, he turned his head down each isle to see who else was in here with him.  He stopped for a moment when he noticed a man looking at a book intently.  Dust flew up in a plume as the man settled upon the ground with the book.  Walking towards the man, he stopped about 10 feet away from him.  "Ya know, Ribbit!  They are tables within the library, which are probably a bunch more comfortable, Ribbit!" he simply stated nodding his head.  Turning his head towards the shelf, he noticed a book out of his reach with the cover reading 'The Insects of Northern Fiore'.  This caught his interest!

Zork both loved and hated insects with a passion.  He loved the way they tasted but he also hated the fact they they were quite icky and creepy-crawley at the same time.  Some passions are quite the double-edged sword.  Within thinking further on it, Zork opened his mouth and extended his tongue out towards the book.  His tongue made contact with the spine of the book, sticking to the tome and pulled it out of the shelf and into his hands.  The book was quite heavy for him.  Releasing his tongue's grip upon the tome, he started to struggle with the book and hefted it over towards the prior-mentioned tables.  The frog stopped for a moment directly in front of the man named Rowan and blinked.

"What you reading there, Ribbit!?"

"Oh?  That's an interesting subject, Ribbit!" Zork stated before hefting his books towards the table.  "It's still more comfortable at the tables, Ribbit!" he said as his voice faded due to the distance between the two.  If this was a public library, he would have been surrounded by 'shhhhh' from all angles.  Thankfully, he didn't have to deal with all of that!  Zork made his way to the table and used his tongue to move the chair out from under the wooden table and used his powerful legs to jump up onto the chair.  He quickly placed the books upon the table and took a sigh of relief outward.  These books got a bit heavy due to the difference in weight between him and the books (which wasn't very much).  

"Magic is magic, ya know?" Zork said before stating, "Ribbit!  Though, I don't actually use magic, Ribbit!  I don't know why, but everyone else thinks it's magic.  I'm just a normal person with strange and natural abilities, Ribbit!" Zork stated.  He was in denial that he was actually a frog; believing himself to be a human, being just like everyone else.  Even while looking at himself in the mirror, he believed he looked just like everyone else.  


Zork opened up the book on the insects of Fiore and began to lick his lips.  He has green skin, he has large eyes, he has a long tongue, he can jump high, and he says ribbit.  But denial is actually a thing.  The book opened up to flies of Fiore and his mouth began to water.  "The flies in Fiore look tasty."
 

Zork blinked a bit and turned the page.  A low toned ribbit came from Zork as he saw a picture of a large fly.  While his mouth was watering, he was also extremely grossed out from it's appearance.  While he wants to eat it, he doesn't necessarily want to see it.  Another ribbit came from Zork before lowering his book to look at Rowan.  

"How long you been in the guild?  Ribbit!  I mean, is this place any good?  Ribbit!" Zork asked.  He entered the guild with nobody welcoming him; it was as if he was a ghost.  He's actually a frog but he considers himself a human.  Oh, the confusion!  Zork tilted his head and looked over his book (barely) towards Rowan for a moment.  "Why are you so curious about Magic History? Ribbit!" he asked.  Yes, he was asking a lot of questions, but someone had to answer his questions.  

"And no, I'm not an exceed, Ribbit!"
