- Job Title: Wanted! Kreddy Frueger
Rank: C Rank
Player Requirements: C Rank, or 2 D Rank; Max 2 wizards
Job Requirements:
* 20 posts
* 175 words per post
* roll 5 times
Job Location: Beanstalk Village
Job Description:
You've been contracted to take down an extremely dangerous man.
The city guard has no information on him, and no one has come back alive.
They have reason to believe he's hidden away in a very elaborate tunnel system under the village.
Get to it!
Enemies:
Weak:Hypnosis
Upon receiving a weak enemy, your character falls asleep immediately. Weak rolls take priority over all others, and are the main drive of the job. Your character will remain asleep until the first boss fight is over.
Normal:Strange Apparition
If you're not asleep, this roll counts as a weak roll. If you are already asleep, then you dream you're moving through an extremely horrifying forest. While in this forest, for 3 posts (+2 posts for each normal rolled if already under the effect) you see strange beings moving about the brush. Roll a Block Dice. If block is successful you take no damage, if block is not successful you take B ranked damage.
Strong:Dragon
If you are not asleep, you will take 5% HP damage, and be put asleep. If you are asleep when this is rolled, you must fight a small dragon. It takes 5 hits of C ranked damage to defeat, but its every attack deals B ranked damage. Its breath attack deals A ranked damage, and cannot be consumed by slayers. (Because you're in a nightmare)
Boss:Kreddy Frueger
A cheap knock-off of the real one, he wears a set of razor sharp knives on his fingers. Amazingly he's pretty good with them. You must defeat Kreddy twice. First time you face him, if not already asleep he puts you to sleep and begins the battle there. In the dream world, Kreddy can disappear into shadows, teleport around, and even extend his own shadow to stab you in the heart. His shadow attacks cannot be consumed by slayers (this is a nightmare still) and you must hit him 5 times to defeat him. After beating him one time, you must defeat him a second time in the real world. This time he takes 15 hits to take down, and will attack you with his claws. He's very fast, very agile, very annoying and deals 1.5x C ranked damage per slash. Keep in mind, his speed makes this reduced damage no consequence.
After your second win, roll a Damage Dice. If it's a miss, your character doesn't kill him.
Reward:
* Dead: 10K Jewel
* Alive: 10K Jewel + double XP
G ods dammit Dribs watch where you point that thing!" the scolding was heard even through the thick, granite door to Kateri's room. Inside, Kateri snatched the barrel of the 14.5mm sniper from the goblin's hands before he accidentally blew his own brains out. "Dribble no think master Kateri should go. Him think too far, master not well. Master not have magic back." the goblin said with a concerned voice. "Look, I did just fine last time and this time I'm bringing the new blood with me." Kateri said reassuringly. "But master... she is fresh. She has no experience in combat, I believe I'm yet to see a weapon on her." the half dragon said. "Then this will be a good warm up for her. As far as weapons go, I've got plenty to share." Kateri replied while locking her rocket launcher on her back, right between the assault rifle and the sniper. She extended an arm and Shadow glided on, crawling up the appendage to finally rest around Kateri's neck. She grabbed her black cloak from the wardrobe and slung it around her neck. She still didn't have her magic back, at least, not all of it. Kateri had regained some of her magic a few days ago and used it to treat the burns left by the dragon's flame attack. The healing went so well that it looked exactly the same as before she had her face torched to hell and high water, bringing a look of joy to her as she checked the mirror to see not a single scar was left. She made sure her hair was in its proper pigtails, not wanting to look like crap on her first mission with a new family member. She then grabbed her revolvers and gave them a quick twirl while sliding them in their holsters.After going downstairs, Kateri would look around to see where her partner was. After she'd finally seen her, she'd give a warm smile and say "I thought you were pretty when I saw you with the bandages on. Now that I can use both eyes you look even more pretty. Sorry about the last time we met, I wasn't exactly in the best condition. I checked your file, Evia right?" Kateri said, her voice was much stronger, much more outgoing than when the new member saw her first. Shadow, the black genetically altered wyvern-snake cross breed poked his armoured head up from under Kateri's cloak. She reached over and began scratching his head, the small creature leaned into the hand while making a rather adorable happy sound. "This little guy's name's Shadow. Oh, that reminds me! Shadow told me you don't got no weapons with ya. Here, use a couple of mine." Kateri said with a smile while handing her ally a single Six-shot Revolver, and a Sub Machine Gun. After those were taken, she reached behind her, under the cloak still and pulled out a break action shotgun and passed it to Evia as well. "Those are all magic guns. When you eject the old clip they suck in magic from the world around them, so you don't have to worry about ammo." Kateri informed her. Shadow had slithered out from under the cloak entirely and glided over to Evia, landing on her just so he could try to nuzzle at her super soft looking hair. "He he, guess he likes you." Kateri said with a big smile on her face, happy to see Shadow actually taking a shine to someone other than herself. Revolver Shotgun SMG Words TAG |
