Magic
Primary Magic: Las Bendiciónes del Tiempo (In English, "The Blessings of the Weather").
Secondary Magic: N/A
Caster or Holder: Caster
Description: Las Bendiciónes are a variation of the magic that has run through Tomás' bloodline for generations. For each member, the specific benefits of the magic are different--some may be fighters, others protectors, and some may excel at anything they do. There are legends that Jupiter came and delivered the blessing himself, but there are many other families that could claim the honor for themselves. His parents, being devout followers in their worship of the Old Gods, were highly expectant of him to continue the chain of servitude and devotion that his forefathers had shown before, and thus attempted to train the boy in the art of magic in hopes of breaking him of his aloof attitude; however, their efforts only furthered his distaste for using his innate arcane abilities. As such, from the time he left his homeland they have largely remained untapped.
-------
Las Bendiciónes del Tiempo are a set of spells based exclusively on wind and weather. The user calls upon the winds to heal and defend themselves their friends, but cannot typically use the magic to directly harm an enemy, thus causing the caster rely more upon on the surrounding environment for any damage given rather than on magic alone. In conjunction with certain lineages--in this case, the Aspect of Jupiter--it can be highly effective in doing just that. As stated before, the primary purpose of the magic is to heal. And, while the emphasis of the set is healing, there are other options available to defend and attack an opponent with. An interesting quirk is that the user is not able to heal themselves with the spells of Las Bendiciónes.
Since the user of this magic, Tomás, is currently a bird, there are not a wide variety of ways he can cast spells. Mostly, they are cast with his thoughts, although in more advanced spells there are specific actions that may be required to cast them.

Spells:
Name: La Brisa Fresca
Rank: D
Type: Instant
Duration: One post.
Cooldown: Two posts.
Description: It's name, "The Fresh Breeze," in Spanish, is a tad misleading. It does not heal the user in any shape or form, but instead lessens the air pressure in the direction Tomás is flying to provide a small speed boost (his top speed + 5%) instantly. The spell has a a few obvious uses: it can be used to provide a quick escape, it can be used to close the distance between himself and an enemy, or it can be used to ram an enemy.

Name: Protección de Aire
Rank: D
Type: Defensive
Duration: Two posts
Cooldown: Four posts
Description: Protección de Aire--Protection of Air, in English--is a defensive spell designed to give the user a personal, mobile bubble of protection. To form the bubble, wind is manipulated to circulate in a spherical pattern around the user; not only does this allow the spell to move with the user, but it serves to deflect most low-level spells with ease; however, certain projectiles, such as arrows, are likely to break through the barrier, and the caster s left disoriented for a moment after the spell has dissipated. (40 points of damage can be blocked while the spell is active; piercing projectiles such as arrows have a 50% chance of dealing full damage.)

Name: Viento de Corte
Rank: D
Type: Instant

Cooldown: Two posts
Description: In English, "The Wind of Cutting." The spell is self explanatory: it creates a gust of wind so fast and focused that it can literally cut flesh. The extent of the damage depends on how far out one is from the user--close up, the cuts are equivalent of something one might see from a knife or dagger, but further out (about 7-8 meters) they become little more than a bad paper cut. (Deals full D-rank damage at distances less than five meters; for every meter after that, the spell's damage is reduced by 25% before becoming completely ineffective at nine meters.)

Name: Las Lluvias del Mágico
Rank: D
Type: Area of Effect

Description: In English, the name of the spell is "The Rains of Magic." The entire purpose of the spell is to rejuvenate any person of friendly intent that is within its shower (caster excluded). For a short period of time, a cloud forms and showers those underneath it with a rain that restores magical energy; coincidentally, it also buffs the effects water magic by a small amount. (5% per post if the target(s) are of the same rank as the spell; enhances damage of water based spells by 10% if target(s) are the same rank as the spell).

Since the user of this magic, Tomás, is currently a bird, there are not a wide variety of ways he can cast spells. Mostly, they are cast with his thoughts, although in more advanced spells there are specific actions that may be required to cast them.
Strengths:
- Great for healing and defensive tactics.
- Can be used in conjunction with more offensive magics to provide cover.
- Able to be easily used for non-combat roles
Weaknesses:
- Not a lot of variety in how to attack an opponent.Attacks can be avoided simply by hiding behind a large/heavy enough object.
- Emphasis on healing can leave the user open to attacks when waiting for a cooldown on an offensive spell to expire.
- The extent of healing that is available with (most) wind spells is limited by what is in contact with the surrounding air (ie internal injuries, most diseases, and poison cannot be remedied).
- Healing and rejuvenation spells cannot be used on the caster.
Lineage: Aspect of Jupiter
Unique Abilities:
- Wind Manipulation- A passive ability that allows the user to manipulate air and wind to cast spells, as well as do many other non-combat related tasks.
- Sixth Sense- A unique extension of wind manipulation, it allows the user to sense movement within the maximum range their rank allows them to cast spells (15 meters at D, etc.) by sending feedback to the user’s brain with the vibrations in the air caused by people and objects, growing more vague the further from the user the movement is.
- Water Manipulation- A passive ability that allows the user to manipulate water and cast spells with it. When combined with his wind manipulation abilities, it allows him to control the weather to some extent, limited by his rank and other factors.

Strengths:
- Easy to cast;
- Flexible, if someone is creative enough;
- Can be be used multiple times in a somewhat quick fashion.
Weaknesses:
- The user can only move in a straight line;
- Ending the spell early can is tricky;
- The spell cannot be used to provide a buff in speed long-term;
- Although it is a simple spell, it is easy to become fatigued if used in succession.

Strengths:
- Deals great damage at close range;
- Useful for close encounters
- Can be used to get opponents to back off.
Weaknesses:
- Damage is dependent upon range;
- Not effective against armored opponents;
- Targets can hide behind obstacles to negate most, if not all damage that would be given;

Strengths:
- Gives allies within the cloud’s radius mana regeneration.
- Great for lower-ranked mages (D or C).
- Works well with water mages.
Weaknesses:
- The rain cloud is stationary;
- Does very little for higher ranked mages;
- A conflicting buff that is of equal or greater magnitude nullifies the effects of the spell;
- Easily dispersed by other wind mages.
