Oh yeah, I definitely struggle with math still.

I had to move every 2-3 years cause my dad's an expatriate. So I had to get accustomed to my new school's level of math and I was already bad at math to begin with but what made it worse was getting a handful of crappy teachers. My senior year I thought I'd get my shit together though for math so I wouldn't struggle so hard in college but my teacher ended up having cancer and we had security guards teaching us... which obviously resulted in nobody doing work. Sucks that you have medical and financial issues to deal with though.

Thought I don't understand the American school system at all and have little-to-no clue what an AP class is other than it's advanced (something like a scholar group right?), I wish you well. I too know what it's like to be incredibly overwhelmed by assessments (especially English related ones because more often than not, I don't actually enjoy the books that the exam boards tend to pick for us).

There's nothing worse than falling behind so taking a break is completely understandable, hope you come back soon!
