It was excruciating being here, honestly- Era, that is. The city was in desperate need of a convict captured, and so they relied on someone the vast majority feared to get the job done. "Please! I'm sure if the man feels threatened for his life, you can force him back where he should be, right?" Alito could recall a random civilian pleading, "It horrifies me to know a criminal is on the streets!" This recollection of memories was the effect of a scroll a child of Ankhseram held; the scroll identifying a duty proposed by whomever took care of convicts. "Interesting..." Alito thought in his head, "To think I would do a favour for humans I should have killed long ago." The origin of this pitiful city was what the city was home to: the Magic Council. For centuries, Alito had been wanted by this administration of law, yet his ability to kill made even them run. How ridiculous it was. Ever since that day in the Holy Castle, Alito had found no reason to express emotion anymore. To think a place known for peace would suddenly become an establishment known for tragedy- nothing could be assumed of Fiore any longer.
It was said in this scroll that the whereabouts of this convict could be found in his initial residence, but why would an escaped convict make himself so simple to trace? Whatever. As long as Alito could get the job done, he could profit from those forced to pay him, in return, and use that reward to afford certain items he could not obtain even for the centuries he had lived until now. "A wife and daughter...if only I could experience such fortune...mongrel." Alito muttered. He swore he would complete this task quickly, and get the heck out of here before those of the Magic Council could detect him. Though all of their attempts in capturing him had been failures you see, those of the Magic Council never gave up. Such a struggle, indeed.
