    So before I get anything about how there was a topic about this a week ago I am aware but i wanted to make this more about my idea on how to make things a bit more.... workable for those who like the idea of free hybrid mode.

    Feel free to correct me if I am wrong about this but I have come to understand that as Hybrid Slayers as it stands means that you have access to both your primary Slayer magic and your secondary Slayer magic independently. For example we have a hybrid of Fire and Iron Dragon slayers, this slayer can use its a flame spell then use an Iron spell (Once again this is what I was lead to believe so if this is incorrect please inform me) and this slayer can also eat both elements so the idea of a free hybrid mode for this would be rather much seeing how strong and diverse this already is.

    That is what we have and what some people want is to be able go hybrid mode like it is done in Canon, I have no problem with this but the question is what can we do to make this happen? Well here is the idea i came up with; In many video games when you pick a class you have access to sub-classes. In Mass Effect you can start as a soldier and when you level up that skill tree it allows you to choose between a shock trooper or a commando. So why not have it the same here? Have a Hybrid Slayer V1 which is what we have and have a Hybrid V2 which does something along the lines of how the canon does it. Natsu ate Laxus' lightning but it seems he can't use lightning without having it mixed with his flames sorta implies that the second element can only be accessed when mixing it with his fire. So what we do is remove the ability to eat the second element freely and use it freely and have it that you can access you second element and enhance your primary element in the form of an individual spell but at the cost of MP. As for the free hybrid mode, what this can do is have it so its slightly weaker than force whether it be by stat increase, short duration or strip away the no MP cost in exchange for all spells except the already "fused" spells to gain the secondary element.

    Just make Hybrid Force weaker than Dragon Force honestly. But make it to where they can't combine their elements unless they are in hybrid mode, otherwise they have to use them separately. Just my opinion. But it'd work imo.

    i agree with it t a degree but then sorta takes away from it a bit. There is a couple times Natsu used a hybrid move without going full hybrid mode. A good compromise is that it takes a permanent slot and takes lets say double MP to use it.

    I very much agree with this suggestion. Its a great way of making hybrid slayers more thematic and cool/viable without taking away the benefits of being a third generation slayer.

    it's an interesting concept, but the thing is from what we see in canon hybrid is actually stronger. my way of thinking is to actually make it somewhat stronger than force, but it cannot be combined, and the penalty is harsher.

    the staff team have spoken about it and the admin in dev will try to have someone get in contact and figure out the system for this
