The Princess of Shadows [Closed/Plot]

Jade leaned on the lamp pole with a slight annoyance in her eye. "You see, I always thought that meetings with father would be such a good thing..." she said as he gently twirled her hair with her fingers. This girl was daughter of Lance Knighthunter who used to be known as an idol. Well known through out Fiore for his joyful music and good cheer. Suddenly this boy all but went away without a single trace and a new person popped up. This man was hell bent on making the world see what Despair truly was. She was the daughter of this man, trained, and learned from him.

She heard slight foot steps echoing throughout the Rose Gardens and she became Alert. Jade looked around through the corners of her eyes and only calmed down when she saw a man with a metallic mask and a cape coming near her. "Dad!" she said as she ran up to hug him but was only met with him taking a few steps past her and pausing "Jade..." he said as he took off his mask to reveal his face. His face was that of a young teenage boy no more than four or five years older than her. This boy had a messed up face which was full of cuts, missing skin, burns, and other things that made him ugly. He was the face of fear. He leaned on a lamp pole and closed his eyes "You know Jade... When you first told me who you were I couldn't believe it honestly but... You do kind of look like me and, well, the evidence is all there." he said in a nonchalant tone to his voice. This made Jade giggle a bit "Well when I found out I was your daughter after traveling back in time and living in this world for ten years... It was surprising." she said as she looked at him.

She blinked for a few seconds in silence before opening her mouth to speak again "Why did you call me here anyways?" she was curious. Lance looked at her and smiled "You see... I can't go back to the guild. My home now. I have unfinished business I need to take care of." he said with a evil smirk on his face "I wanted to pass some things down to you..." he said as he took a cape out from under her cloak and put it on "This is the cape of Hercules.. it was a gift from a friend a real long time ago. Its too short for me now though." he said as he placed it around his daughters shoulders. He then gently placed his hand on her chest in which she blushed "H-Hey!" Lance chuckled and shook his head "You are the princess of shadows... this will allow you to visit your world any time you want dear." he said and he looked at the mask in his hands before slipping it onto her "This is the face of Despair. You will take this personality and go to Basilisk Fang." he said as he started to walk away.

Jade gently took a step "No. Dont walk away yet. We aren't dont training! I still have so much to learn. I don't want my life to end up boring!" she cried out. Lance stopped in his tracks and turned around "The only way to truly escape the mundane is for you to constantly be evolving. Do not worry child. This is not the last time we will meet. Get stronger... the next time we meet will be on the battle field. A true test of strength and will power." he said as he took a letter out from his jean pocket and handed it to her "Deliver this to a girl named Famine at the guild. Do not read it. It is none of your business." he said as he walked off. Jade looked at her father one last time before he went away into the shadows.

Far off into Sin there sat a blonde haired boy on a throne. He wore an eye patch and a waiters sort of suit "And so a new chapter in the Knighthunters story unravels... What will this story bring I wonder? Pain? Despair?" the man laughed as he touched the glowing picture "I am truly excited."
