Apollo smiled listening. to how her magic worked. "while it is vary straight forward I imagen it's utility use can be helpful if needed" he said smiling. then kept listening. he could see why it was hard for solid script to be defensive. he smiled at her and gave a nod I have a few defensive spell the involve redirecting some ones attack if you ever wanna see them they might help" he shrugs a little. "It's hard being a shield mage leaves you with vary little offence as i mention before so I have quite a few of them actually." he nodded he appreciated her want to learn understanding where she is coming from.

Apollo then her hoshi chime in and gave a smile as he listened how she could use her magic. talking to mother nature and getting her to lend them power sounds awesome but it sounds for some scary attacks though. Apollo nodded at hoshi. "That sounds neat on top of that you got a direct link to nature which sounds pretty handy at times" he smiled looking at them both. he envyed there team work the fight was a lot for him to handle at points and knew in the coming future these two would be a force to be reckoned with. He then looked back a Sorono. "If you don't mind can I ask you why you joined Fairy Tail in the first place backstory on why they were here but her's was unknown to him which only made her more curious.

Sorano sighed, remembering how she had come to be here. It wasn't the most pleasant of stories, and it was one she was rather ashamed of. She remembered the fire, the red blaze that had swept through her mind, the pain. And then she remembered her year of training with her first mentor in magic, Anna Litbell. Those were much more pleasant memories, and then, after Anna's suggestion, her moving to Fairy Tail.

"Well... It was mostly just to get to a place where no one would no who I was, and so I could repay my sins by being in a legal guild. I used to live in the Phoenix Mountains, see, and I had considered joining Eclipse Soul, which is right in those mountains, and this was before they disbanded, but..." Sorano trailed off, looking up at the sky, recalling her indecisiveness in choosing what guild to join. Eclipse Soul might have been ideal because it was a guild of redemption, where it's members were trying to repay their sins, but it had been too close to her home for her comfort. Someone might remember her, and what she had done.

"It was too close to my hometown. I did some bad things a few years back, and I'm trying to do as much good as I can to keep the dignity of my family's name. Fairy Tail was ideal because Anna told me you were all pretty accepting and your guild was far away enough for me to feel safe. Hoshi just came along for the ride," Sorano finished, smiling down at the exceed.

"You've been in Fairy Tail for a long time, haven't you? Why did you come to Fairy Tail, Apollo-san?"

Apollo nodded listening to her story. "Well I am glad you came to Fairy Tail and i'm sure you will change and make everything right you are young and have a long road a head of you and if you need help let me know" both of you" he rubbed her head in a almost older brother way which was rare for him to accept some one to be this close to him. But then she asked him the dreaded question why he joined Fairy Tail. He sighed sitting in the sand looking up at the sky. "Alright just bare with me it's not one of my favorite stories to tell..." he muttered looking now towards the ocean. “When I was 8 years old my grandmother died of old age, when I turned nine my grandfather died trying to stop a fight he got stabbed him..they were never caught, at the age of ten my mom died of a mysterious illness that not even the best healing mages could figure out…” Apollo had to stopped looking at Sorono sighing. “next at the age of eleven Next was my little sister she had an accident and fell down the stairs in my house and died hitting her head, still at eleven then- then was my little brother he killed himself do to being bullied all the time. then at the age of twelve my dad died returning home from a job to feed me, then at the age of thirteen after my dad’s passing I went to live with my oldest sister were moved out… But she got killed by a dark mage…” Apollo stopped and gathered himself “At the age of Fourteen I was put into an orphanage and I met a girl name Eliza and over the years I found love with her… She gave me a pocket watch it was the only thing she came into the orphanage with” Apollo pulls his pocket watch out. He clicks it open giving a weaker sigh. Apollo points to the watch with their names engraved in it when you open it up. “One day at the age of eighteen we left the orphanage determined to join a guild but we want to go out into the world and get some experience first… Then a dark mage using the same magic to kill my sister and Eliza in front of me and I had to carry her body back to Magnolia.. She’s actually buried here in the prairie just outside town." He then put the watch away as they continued into the forest. "That's me in a nutshell I am under the belief i'm cursed but that's why I developed shielding magic so I can make sure no one else dies around me..." he said a few tears in his eyes as he tried to regain composer but just wanted to cry. "That's why I am thankful to Fairy Tail and everyone in it, they accepted me and gave me a new life and a second chance..." He said smiling a little.

Sorano nodded slightly, knowing what it was like to be a burden to your family. She herself had brought some dislike upon her family just with her hair color, and she had basically disgraced the Granon name by not knowing how to accept things calmly.

"At least... At least you never did anything on purpose..." Sorano muttered, looking down and stopping in midstep. "I misused the magic my mother, and her mother, and the people of many generations back had passed on. The first user was a true hero, who was only rewarded with auric abilities because of his heroism. I'm no hero, though. I don't think I ever will be, with what I've done in the past..." Sorano sighed, and looked up into the forest canopy, feeling the burden of what she had done fully in that moment. "I guess we all have to thank Fairy Tail in some way or the other, and help the others who come this way with similar problems, huh?"

Even Hoshi had to agree with that statement. Then, looking down at the watch she had on her wrist, the letter mage started a bit. "Oh, wow. It's gotten late, Apollo-san. I bet Heero-san's probably realized we're gone already. Maybe we should start heading back? Heero-san's all the way up there in H rank..." Sorano shuddered a bit. "I don't exactly want to get on his bad side... Let's hurry back!"

She smiled slightly up at Apollo, always feeling more relaxed around any of her guildmates. There was just something about the people in her guild that made her cheerful, even when they were kinda in trouble.

Apollo sighed then after listening rubbed Sorono's head again. ""yeah looks like we made a pretty good choice on out guild uh" he smiled "Hey one more thing regarding being a hero you don't have to save a kingdom to be a hero. just helping your fellow man is quite enough then they will look up to you no matter your past" he smiled then stood up listening her say why we should leave. He then rubbed his neck "yeah I agree if worse comes to worse i'll take the heat for this since I dragged you here." he chuckled.

Then without another moment to lose they Appeared back in the libray he looked around. "no one's here good. he then smiled looking at Sorono. "We should do this again sometime maybe not sneaking to tenru nessicarally but when we get stronger I think a rematch is in order" he smiled at her and horoshi. They them walked back into the guild where there was another fight happening. Apollo looked down at Sorono and horoshi and gave a small chuckle. "Guess it's just another day in Fairy Tail huh" he said giving them a smile as he looked at his fighting guild mates

Sorano grumbled slightly when Apollo put his hand on her head, sometimes hating how people always treated her like a little kid. Even if she was basically the youngest human member of the guild. Julius always adding a "Chan" to the end of her name, everyone often trying to watch out for her, it got annoying sometimes. Still, she knew it was because they wanted to protect her that they did it, so she let them. If they needed a kid sister figure, she would act the part. It was just rather ironic that she had been the big sis of her old family.

"No, no, if we get caught, we'll split the blame, Apollo-san! After all, Fairy Tail members stick up for each other, huh?" Sorano said quickly, waving her hands quickly in her guild mate's direction.

Back in the library, Sorano quickly made sure all her things were gathered and good, then stood up, bowing slightly to Apollo. "Thank you for that good spar and conversation, Apollo-san! And yes, I do hope we can spar again sometime! It's good to get to know another guild member better!"

Even Hoshi piped up with a soft, "Nice to meetcha!" They stepped into the bright light of their busy guild, fighting amongst themselves as usual.

"Yeah, it's hard to imagine Fairy Tail standing together sometimes, huh?" Sorano grinned slightly, then, waving to Apollo, continued on homewards with Hoshi.
