Fight?!?

Someone from a newer guild called Laughing coffin had challenged. He wanted to challenge Apollo for some reason or another and Apollo accepted since he was a bit rusty. Apparently Heero had set him up with a fight to see if he was slacking off or not. He met him out in the middle of the woods in Magnolia. As he waited he looked around the area. I was a nice day for the most part. The sun was shining and a light breeze was in the air.. It was clear skys and not a cloud in sight. Around him were tall trees that soared into the sky. A lot of them created a lot of shade and if you were good enough you could hop from branch to branch.

Right behind him the Forrest got a lot more narrow and dense. you couldn't just run through it you'd have to walk through it unless you knew were you were going. you would have to walk around these trees to get through or have better reflex then Apollo currently possessed to get through this tree line. Straight a head of him the trees were split apart more for some one to be able to maneuver around and duck between trees and such. while you should still excersize caution it was still a tad dense. Along the forest in random spots larger stones and boulders were lining about no doubt due to his guilds non sense.

As he waited he looked through the trees stepping in a few holes that were from previous adventures and a lot of loose leaves and stones covered the ground due to the season they were in. Apollo knew he would have to watch his steps in this fight to make sure he didn't fall or get stuck. As a gust of wind came by it view some of the stones and leaves away and they sprinkled down from the trees. they didn't obstruct vision but he didn't care for them much at all. Apollo saw some low hanging branches near by that you could easily climb if you wanted to. Though he wasn't a very fast climber so he would have to developed a faster climbing technique or just forget about though in general even though a height advantage would help him.

Then Apollo pulled out his pistol Checkmate when he heard someone coming towards him. A man appeared before him. It was quite obvious that he was a mage based off his appearance and his power coming off him. "You must be Brennan Skyllon I've been expecting you." He said as he turned looking at him his pistol pointing towards the ground. "I hope your ready for this" Apollo said a tad more confident then before although he was rather nervous since this was one of his first fights against an actual Wizard. He waited for him to respond as he looked at him. Along with that he wanted him to make the first move since he was a defensive mage he wasn't good at picking fights but he wanted to scale him up and see his magic.

Brennan had been floating in the air, attempting to look taller than he actually was, when he had been approached by a man, the man he had challenged to a duel. "Yes, I'm Brennan Skyllon." He said calmly, floating on a green pillow, as his pink drone named A.I.R.C., his two swords, and his cane floated in the air beside him. He wore a strange pendant around his neck, which moved around erratically as he somersaulted in the air. He smiled, dueling people was fun, and he had not yet tested out Excalibur's full potential, which would make this even more interesting. He hovered away from his pillow, which transformed into a sleek spear, and named his fingers, "Multiply." Excalibur floated around Brennan menacingly, ready to parry any blows at any given moment. Excalibur was a very interesting weapon, with very much potential. With a tap of his finger, Brennan's necklace dissipated, and reappeared as a black aura which enveloped him. Brennan smiled mischievously, and his left eye flashed a golden color, Shielding Magic. This meant that this man would be more on the defensive, this battle would certainly be interesting. "I'll let you have the first move." Brennan said with a smile, he wanted to see the full extent of this Shielding Magic.

Apollo sighed looking at all this items transform before his eye's into various weapons.  He could tell this was going to be an interesting fight.  He figured he was general close combat fighter however he could have a variety of range magic.  Apollo could decide what to do.  he had no idea of his skill level so he might as well start the fight with a bang of sorts speaking of course But then the unexpected happened.  he was offered the first move.  Surly he had an idea of what Apollo could do so why make him go first.  Apollo just held checkmate up then got an idea. he put his hand on the cylinder..  He then gave it a spin "Promotion to queen"  He called as then as it activated it felt as it he had the senses of an egale and the gun felt more powerful in it's self.

He then pointed towards him getting ready.  he did some calculations  in his head as he looked at the sword and the spear wondering what he was going to do.   three things could happen he could block it whic he will ricochet it back he doges and he still makes it go back at him.  or he gets hit.  he doesn't know how his magic will play into it though.  "Last chance."  He said as he finished his calculation the he then fired the pistol a him.  As he fired the gun the bullet left the as a great speed and force.  It leaves a trail of magic behind it.  Apollo got ready for what ever happen.  no matter the outcome he was to  counter attack though his magic might change it so he got  ready to fire again.

As the man held out a gun, Brennan hesitated, and right as he heard the trigger's click, he dissipates into millions of grains of black sand, forming a gloomy black cloud of sand. The bullet pierced the cloud, but dealt no real damage to the boy that made up the cloud. The grains of sand quickly flitted around, and reconstructed themselves roughly ten meters behind Apollo. The second Brennan reformed, a brown magic circle appeared in front of his face, and he quickly blew into it, causing a black aura filled with chunks of black earth to erupt from it, flying towards Apollo at a speed of twenty meters per second. Brennan hoped that his Earth God's Bellow was distraction enough for his next attack, a spike of earth which manifested itself under Apollo, to land. While Apollo was distracted with all of this commotion, Brennan flicked his wrist, and Excalibur went flying towards Apollo's shoulder, Brennan was sure one of these attacks would hit, but if his opponent was skilled enough, he might very well be able to dodge all of them. All this time, A.I.R.C. had been drifting leisurely around Brennan's head, simply observing the surroundings. "Combat Mode: Active." Brennan muttered under his breath, just loud enough for A.I.R.C. to hear. A.I.R.C. chirped in response, and began floating of it's own accord, not at all related to Brennan's telekinesis. Nearby chunks of earth, with the exception of Brennan's corrupt, black earth, began flying towards A.I.R.C., and they clumped around it, turning the once-robot into an Earth Golem of pure wrath. It roared and began to stomp towards Apollo, flinging its powerful fists around.

Apollo felt rushed not knowing what he could do He did the first thing that came to mind hoping it would block the three on coming attacks. "Trinity shield dome formation!" he called as a dome shield formed around him stopping all three of the attacks though it was barley enough. As he casted his spell he felt he raised up. "What the..?" He saw his natural protection forming at his feet. they raised him up a few inchs and shifted him a little. Now along with three attacks almost penetrating his shield now there was a magic circle under him. Apollo's eyes widened as it formed under him, The fact he could do all this without za worry was amazing to him he obviously had a lot to learn. He was then launched into the air due to a Spike made of solid earth coming up in a blink of a eye. "woah!" he yelled as he tried to re cooperate. Hes went through his shield barley dodging Breians attacks. As he was in the air he say his attacks wizz by he pointed he gun at him once he was back in action. He wasn't terribly high up but he was high enough to not get hit by the golem without warning. He then fired a round another shot at him hoping his shot would pierce any defense he had unless he could turn into sand again. Apollo then reached the peak of his height he gulped. "Platform shield!" he called staying in the air so the golem was less of a problem. He then looked at him to see if his bullet made a connection. He was hoping he wasn't quick enough to dodge it straight up but then again he did it the first time.

A column of earth rose Brennan up into the air, where he took a bullet to the shoulder without even squeaking. Brennan created another column of earth about 5 meters away and jumped onto it, jumping from that column to Apollo's platform shield. As Brennan jumped, a hand of earth burst from the ground and grabbed the hand that was holding Checkmate. If Apollo didn't do anything to stop him, Brennan would easily take the gun from Apollo's hand and chuck it at the ground, causing the earth to mold around it, making it inaccessible until Brennan decided Apollo could use it. Brennan smiled, despite his lack of physical strength, melee combat was his specialty - or, that's what he wanted Apollo to think. Because as Brennan barraged Apollo with punches, Brennan's spear transformed into a swarm of ten kunai which floated towards Apollo at rapid speeds, yet somehow they were still silent. Each one aimed for a different part of his spine, if he didn't dodge them they would surely do immense damage. And just to add one final touch, the Ancient Blades of Light and Darkness crept up behind Apollo, each one attempting to slash a shoulder. Brennan thought it would be very hard for Apollo to dodge all of this, but he never knew what to expect from his enemies. He punched and punched Apollo, waiting for a reaction, something to indicate whether or not he had done any damage. He really hoped he did, but Apollo seemed smart, so he might do something to stop it.

As he watched him jump onto his platform shield his eye's widened. "you got to be kidding me..." he sighed. he then saw the earth going for his gun. "Damn..." he sighed then looked back at him who was charging him. "Promotion to Rook!" as he quickly spun the barrel of his revolver. he call this and then fired at the earth hand shattering the stone. "Ricochet" he called as it made contact then bounced off the rubble flying towards him. now for the other issue. he hoped his bullet would distract him. he then saw his platform shield flicker. Shoot "Mirror Wall!" he called as blades swarmed him and he assaulted him from the front. As the shield arrived coming up from the platform shield Apollo grabbed it going up with it. He could almost feel the blades cut him as he barley dodged them. they all clashed against his shield and he did know in the blades hit them first or hew did. if the blades hit first nothing would happen since he could control them but if he hit then he would surly take some damage. once the shield reached it's peak he kicked off it landing in a tree branch. As he pulled himself up onto it. he looked at him looked to see if his bullet hit and seeing how he would react to the shield dispersing under neath him. Apollo had to find a way to do something to him otherwise he was going to lose this fight.
