Dimand had taken this job request with a certain amount of reluctance and another of uncertainty. After all, she wasn't really the type to model, but she had decided to give it something new. After all, Dimand was the type to do whatever people wanted and whatever would benefit them, so here she was, trying out modeling. The job request had said that they wanted someone with a beautiful face and body structure. Dimand honestly thought she was too young to be modeling, she wasn't beautiful, and her body structure was average, but she had decided that it didn't really matter to her and that she would find out when she got there. Firstly, though, she had to find the site of the job, which was apparently the East Forest of Magnolia. She was following the job steps: 0) choose a job, 1) go see the client, 2) complete the job, 3) return to the client & collect reward, 4) choose another job!

Dimand was rather nervous about this, since she wasn't the type to model, but even she knew who Chanel was and looked forward to at least seeing her beautiful creations. Dimand supposed that as long as it was her clothes that she was wearing, she could deal with practically anything in the way of outrageous poses and odd requests. Dimand also supposed that the reason that this was a request for a mages' guild was that the magazine was Sorcerer`s Weekly, because she had been a bit confused about why this was a job that required a mage. Either way, Dimand just had to find that photographer, and then she could begin the second step of the job steps...

Suddenly, a thin man tapped Dimand on the shoulder. She whirled around and took a step back when she realized the man had a clipboard in his hands and behind him a set was set up. Oh! Maybe she had found the photographer and the set? That was safe to assume, wasn`t it? Then, Dimand realized that the man had been talking the entire time.

"...and so we will need you to get dressed over here, in the fashion number I specified a little earlier in this conversation." The man then squinted at Dimand, as though contemplating whether she was actually suitable for modeling. "You are the model, aren't you, Miss...?" Dimand waited for him to continue before she realized that he had been waiting for her to jump in. She blushed furiously. "Dimand! I mean, hi, my name is Dimand. And I`m really, really sorry... but I didn't catch what you said earlier. You see, I was kind of lost..." Dimand trailed of uncertainly once she saw how angry the man was becoming. She caught the words "Untrained... unsuitable... novice..." Dimand just stood their awkwardly, waiting for him to reply.

Eventually, he looked back up at her. His face had a totally different expression, as though it was a whole other person. "Ah, I am sorry about that Miss Dimand! You see, we are a bit behind schedule right now, so I will explain everything very quickly to you. You are to dress in the Chanel 6 right now, the other models have already completed their tasks for the day, and you are the only one left. Please forgive our rudeness, we are a little bit impatient right now." And with that, Dimand was ushered over to a tent - type thing and shoved in with a few hangers filled with an outfit of clothing. "Umm... okay." Dimand finally replied, much too late.

Inside the miniature tent type structure, Dimand had already gotten changed into the outfit. It consisted of a beautiful set of ballet flats, a loose, semi-transparent shirt over a tank top, and a flared and short skirt that had tulle underneath, paired with some stretchy black leggings. It was a very casual outfit, the kind that popular girls wore to school and that Dimand might have worn, except for the shirt combination. Once she had it all situated, she opened the flap of the tent, only to have a necklace and bracelet shoved in her face. Sighing, she went back into the miniature tent and put them on. Altogether, Dimand liked this outfit, although it was missing a hair piece.

Once she got outside, she inquired about whether or not a different hair style was required, and received no answer form any of the workers, except for a rolling of the eyes from some. Dimand didn't mind not receiving an answer; she wouldn't have liked to take out her hair anyways, as she always had it in this exact same style and preferred it that way, as it made her feel most comfortable. She looked around, wondering where she was supposed to do her shoot and at which set. Hopefully, it wouldn't be too complicated, as Dimand had no modeling experience what so ever...

Dimand just drifted around for a little bit before the same thin man came over, with the clipboard. "Okay, Dimand, you`re due over there," He pointed to the far left, where there was what pretty much looked like a natural set, set up, "And you`ll get your makeup done by Chiara-san, then head over to your set and the photographers there will explain what you need to do." After telling Dimand all of this, the thin man seemed to disappear in the blink of an eye, almost as if he himself were magical. Dimand shook her head, then headed over to where Chiara-san`s makeup station was.

"Okay, ma cherie, your makeup is finished!" Chiara-san was a stunningly beautiful woman that seemed to be in her late thirties or early forties. She was very outgoing, it seemed, and she liked to give hugs out, which Dimand found out as soon as she had come over to Chiara-san's station. Now that Dimand`s makeup was done, it was time for her to find her set. The problem was, Dimand couldn't remember which one it was... Was it the one on the far left, or the far right? Dimand tilted her head in contemplation and ended up going left and guessing correctly, which was probably a relief for all the workers around her.

Dimandwas a novice to modeling, so she was having some trouble actually doing the modeling, at the far left set. The workers were doing their best to help her, but she just didn't understand the mechanics of posing and using the lighting to her advantage and things like that. Dimand knew that she was having troubles with this, but she didn't think it was that big of a deal. She would be fine after a little more practice and a few more shoots. After all, it was expected of her to be mediocre her first time, right? After all, it wasn't as though it was Dimand`s magic, nor was she a professional.

After the shoot was over, Dimand darted back into her tent to change back into her 'street clothes'. She slipped out of the ballet flats and skirt, then took off the stretchy black leggings and replaced them with her own, comfortable wandering clothes; which was actually and ironically pretty much the same, except the leggings were colored more purple. Then, she slipped off the transparent and see through shirt, and the tank top. Eventually, Dimand was completely dressed in her own clothes, and she slipped the necklace off, over her head, and put it and the bracelet on top of the clothes. Since someone had taken the hangers, she stacked the clothes with the jewelry on top, and left it on top of table / bench that was in the miniature dressing room. Personally, Dimand was glad to be free of the jewelry, since she didn't appreciate nor like jewelry; however, the clothes were something similar to what Dimand was wearing, and she would have worn them under other circumstances. Her job done, Dimand then left the miniature to go find the thin man with the clipboard.

Eventually, Dimand found the thin man with the clipboard. She had assumed that he was in charge of the day`s shoot for the magazine, and had been correct in her assumption. After finding him and telling him that she was done and that the workers in her set had deemed her photos from the shoot satisfactory, he nodded and handed her her pay.

"Thank you for coming today, Miss Dimand. I'm sure that your photos and modeling skills will improve more as you get older and with more practice!" He beamed at Dimand, and she smiled back at him with genuine appreciation. Today had been rather fun, and she had experienced less trauma to her body than in the other job, which had originally seemed to be easier than this one. Dimand wouldn't quite call modeling fun, but she could deal with it without complaining. Plus, she loved Chanel's clothing lines! Dimand waved good - bye to the workers and set off back to the guild hall of Laughing coffin in good spirits.
