A scream. Another scream. They eventually started to clump together as one, echoing off the buildings and waters until finally they priced her ears, allowing the blonde to shudder in pleasure, knowing they had found her deed. It was a sensation that tickled her spine and rattled her rib cage, sending goosebumps down to her legs before tingling in her feet.
Though she could not see them, she knew exactly what the screams were about. They found the body. The body of her latest victim. Though honestly if you asked her she couldn't tell you what they looked like. A man, by the way she could feel his build as it fell limp into her arms. An adult male. But other than that she didn't know. Shinobu never really looked at her meals after all. Most of the time they would end up spoiling her appetite. Humans could be repulsive creatures sometimes, even if they had the finest tasting blood in the world. Better to pay attention to what mattered the most rather than the thing that didn't have any meaning to it at all. It's what counts on the inside, right? That's what they say? Not the outside. In this case, a human's corpse.
Yellow eyes flashed red as she chewed the tips of her glove-covered fingers, sucking in the remaining metallic-tasting blood that had splattered onto them from the man's dripping neck. The vampire hummed lightly, muffled from the fingers in her mouth as red heels kicked back and forth, banging against the tent's roof quietly. With a quiet huff the dimly-lit lantern, the only thing in the area illuminating her pale complexion, was snuffed out, the orange flame flickering as it did.
Finally. Darkness. The only time Shinobu felt truly at peace.
Letting out a content sigh through her nose the female laid back onto the roof, removing her fingers from her mouth as she let the last drops of thick blood sliver down the back of her throat. Yellow eyes focused on the bright, creamy moon, a small frown carved itself into her lips. If only she could remove the moon from the sky too... Then complete darkness would be possible.
But for now, the only darkness she could ravish in, was the fear this village emitted from her presence. The fear of dying. The fear of loosing. Such silly human emotions. When will they ever get death is unavoidable. They gave up so much of these emotions... It made Shi want to stay forever. It was like an all-you-can-eat restaurant. They were like pigs up for slaughter.
The thought of pigs running a village brought a small smile to her pale lips.
    No one could stop her.
No one could stop the Deity of Darkness.

Izayuki Hyoujin ♦ Rank C ♦ Black Rose ♦ Glacier God Slayer

Beanstalk Village. They certainly had it out for magic, ever since the last occurrence. Iza had been wandering by that night while her friend Kite, a demon slayer, had been hired to stop a menacing yokai, or 'demon'. That ordeal was long over, but the young mage couldn't help but grin as her thoughts moved back to Seika and her new friend's true form. A hybrid neko yokai of sorts, and beyond cute, as much as she would like to deny it. Seika was not with her now, but once again, Izayuki happened to be passing through. Part of her wanted to check up on the village after the ordeal. The other part of her was full of stupid curiosity which was piqued with the sound of a few screams.

What was going on this time? Surely it was not another yokai or demon... Iza had no room, time, or patience to take in another. Heh, maybe she would have the heart to actually kill it this time... that would be fun. Pity only went so far, after all. Still, Seika did mean a lot to her for some reason.
Sighing, the young mage moved forward at rather fast speeds, finally approaching a scene with a rather dark and gruesome aura that was now clashing with her own freezing-cold aura.
That was when she saw the girl. A young blonde, easily picking off the villagers as if they were prey. The scene was very familiar to Iza, who had experienced her own time relishing in slaughter. Still, enough was enough, and the blood was making the keen slayer inwardly gag at the smell of death.

Approaching the humanoid monster, Izayuki dared to move close with a bold grin, crossing her arms as she unleashed her aura full-on. "What do ya think you're doin'? Had your fill of blood yet, my gluttonous friend?" she asked with a fair amount of sass and attitude laced in her voice. She could be completely underestimating the blonde, but from what she could tell just from basic sensory, the slayer was the stronger one here.

Ah, it seems as though she was caught. What a shame. She really would have liked to stay here longer, maybe kill a few more people. But as they say, there are plenty of fish in the sea, bigger fish to fry, and all those other silly human sayings. There would be better towns. Ones without mages in them where she could eat in peace. After all this eating, fighting wasn't the first thing on the vampire's mind. So she would like to avoid any conflict as of right now and let her meal digest.
"I'm putting the pigs out for slaughter, what does it look like?" The blonde would grin, sitting back up with a straight back, gloved hands tracing over her pale lips.
Shining yellow eyes would linger upon the girl before casting a glance to the grayish horizon in the distance, just peaking up over the tent tops. Oh my, seems as though her little buffet lasted longer than she had thought. It was almost dawn already. And though vampires didn't actually turn to dust when touching sunlight, it sure didn't make the woman feel comfortable either. It was itchy against her whitish skin. That and she tanned easily. And tan lines were a pain to cover up.
"Oh dear would you look at the time?" Shinobu would hum, looking back to Izayuki. "Sorry dear. As much as i'd love to chat... I'm afraid this-" The vampire would pause for a brief moment, snapping her fingers to allowing five, dark, small spheres to form around her, bobbing up and down in the air. "- Is where we part ways."
Not even a second after the words left her lips the spheres would all launch at the young mage at once, hopefully distracting her enough for the vampire to jump off the tent's roof and melt into the shadow it cast from the moon's soft light on the edge on the land.

Izayuki Hyoujin ♦ Black Rose ♦ B Rank

That bold grin only widened as mischief flashed and danced briefly in the young female's eyes. So the vampress thought should would get away just like that? Off the chain and easy, ha, no.
The five spheres that appeared around her made Izayuki uncross her arms, but maintain her cocky and sassy smile. Things were going to get real rather quickly, were they not? No chatting would settle the situation at any amount- the blonde was going to escape and make her exit. The five black orbs were fired at the youthful mage, but she was ready for them, or at least some form of attack.

Izayuki leaped agilely into the air, avoiding all but one medium-sized orb of dense and thick darkness. She avoided grimacing despite the slight pain and simply held her grin, successfully bearing it and focusing her pink-tinted gaze on the escapee vampire. This village had gone through enough in the past weeks- she was not about to let the bloodthirsty blonde to avoid some divine form of judgement for that. But then again, she was not one to talk, being naught but a tanuki yokai herself, 'cursed' and trained in God Slaying magic. Still, it paid off, and here was one of its worthy uses. This being was unholy, so she would not suffer the brunt of it like some holy deity or angel, but it would still pack a punch.

Extending her palm towards her target, who was trying to literally melt into the shadows- a most interesting and curious power- Izayuki unleashed a favorite spell of her own, Ousaru Kogoeru. It was a spell that was not quite unholy and laced with darkness like most of her God Slayer Ice, but it would freeze the air and moisture around the woman and lock her in place, successfully frozen, hopefully. "Hey now, what if I wanted to chat? Quite a rude way to leave, y'know~? I wasn't finished..."
