Description:
The definition of darkness does not stop at a mere total absence of light, but goes far deeper than many might understand on any level. Blackness, evilness, iniquity, and many other words delve into the gloom and murkiness of the darkness, but what is it really? And what personified being can really control it? The control of darkness in any essence is one that is bleak and dim, and contrasts from shadows. Darkness does not need light. The total goal of it is to cancel out everything else, including but not limited to light. The night is prime time for the darkness, and a darkness user understands it all and does whatever is in their power to complete the bleak objective of what is dark. The one who aims for fulfilling this is indeed the Deity of Darkness.
Shinobu uses the Darkness to its fullest extent, which does not stop at shadows and the stereotype idea of 'darkness'. Anything which is negative in whatever spectrum might as well be considered dark. It is opposite of whatever is 'good' or 'light'. The power does not stop at the total and divinely demonic control of darkness, but the conversion of the opposite into it and draining of positive energy, including MP and HP. Darkness can be manifested physically, emotionally, mentally, or even spiritually by some. This is the prime use of it- corruption.
Strengths:
♠ Divine control of anything considered 'dark', including but not limited to shadows, darkness as energy or matter, and conversion of light to dark.
♠ Ability to see and gain power in any amount of darkness.
♠️ Works at its strongest in unlit areas or at night.
Weaknesses:
♠️ Works at its weakest during the day or in highly lit places.
♠️ Deity of Darkness is a very versatile power, but hard to control.
♠️ There is a high possibility of not concentrated or controlled correctly that allies could be harmed.
♠️ Taxing on the user, as they are controlled by the darkness' will.

Knight of Black Ice
Description: One of the Seven Knights of King Kuroryu, this Knight was the twin brother of Shinokishi. His name was never spoken - but he was feared as the brother of "Shinokishi" the great Knight of Death. He himself was also feared, but not to the extent of "Shinokishi." Unlike the other knights, this knight could rain sharp black ice down from the skies causing those around him to freeze. The king exiled him for accidentally killing hundreds of innocent civilians in a town with his ability
Ability: Upon activation, the user can summon black ice from the skies that strike his enemies in an area equal to 20 meters + 10 meters per rank beyond D. Deals user ranked spell damage per post to those in its area.
Usage: Can be used once per thread. The raining of black ice lasts for 4 posts with the 4th post flash freezing the area and stunning everyone in it for a post. The user cannot use spells during this ability
Unique Abilities:
Night Affinity: ♠️ Night is the prime time of darkness, and as such, Shinobu gains a 25% boost in strength, speed, and reaction time and 5% MP every two posts as soon as the sun has set below the horizon.
Vampire Aura ♠️ Essentially thought to be an undead creature in myths, Shinobu carries a frightening unholy aura around with her that slowly drains opponents within a ten meter radius of equal or lower rank of their health and magic power by 2% per post while providing her with half of the drained and stolen power.
Divine Darkness ♠️ As the Deity of Darkness, Shinobu has complete control over shadows, unholy power, negative energy, and darkness in general. She is free to be as creative or destructive with her powers as she wants, and can generate, manipulate, or negate any of the formerly mentioned forces at will. To negate shadow spells during PvP; Shinobu must lose 50% of the MP the opponent used to cast the spell and it must be of Shinobu's rank or lower for her to cancel it. If she uses a shadow to attack with (for PvP) it would deal standard armed melee damage equal to her rank.

Type: Darkness Drain, Offensive or Defensive
Duration: Instant or 3 posts.
Cooldown: 2 posts if instant. 4 posts if not.
Description: Shinobu is able to create up to five small to medium sized orbs made of dense, dark, negative matter. She can combine these orbs into one large orb for an instant attack or separate them between five. These orbs can be located around her, floating, for defense, or she can fire them up to thirty feet for long range offense. For instant- the orbs(all together or one big one) deal D rank damage (-20 HP) when they hit their target and drain 10% MP upon being within a ten meter radius of their opponent. If not instant, they can be split in power and divided, dealing 1/5th of D rank damage per orb, and draining 10% MP if an opponent gets too close. Shinobu gains half the MP drained from this spell.
Strengths:
♠ They can be used for long range offense or close range defense.
♠ Very versatile and easy to use.
Weaknesses:
♠ Can potentially injure allies who come too close.
♠ If split, the opponent can possibly dodge a few of the orbs and not take on full D rank damage.
♠ Stronger opponents receive -25% damage or drain per rank.

Description: Regardless of someone's or something's rank, Shinobu is able to easily melt into any shadow, almost becoming one with it, seemingly. While in the shadow, she is unable to hurt anyone, but can take damage if say, the shadow is hit with a sword or spell. She can move from shadow to shadow in this form, and also drain the MP by 10% and 30 HP per post of those of equal or lower rank. She then gains half the HP and MP. If she hides in the shadow of a higher rank, they will likely sense her location and can put her more at a disadvantage if it is an enemy. If it is an ally, she could do so to help assist, hide, and spy.
Strengths:
♠ Shinobu can completely hide from all of the physical senses.
♦ Opponents can have their magic and health drained without realizing she is nearby.
♦ Shinobu can spy on enemies and move from shadow to shadow with ease, whether or not they are the shadow or a living or nonliving target.
Weaknesses:
♦ Shinobu cannot cast any other spells in this form.
♦ Stronger opponents can sense her magical presence.
♦ Shinobu is still able to be hurt in this form if a spell or weapon is thrown on the section of the shadow she is in.
♦ This spell is not permanent- after some time Shinobu will materialize physically again.

Description: Umbra Volatus, or 'shadow flight', when cast, gives the caster large bird-like wings made of darkness. These wings can grow fairly large to the point where they can "cocoon' the user to block out attacks or possibly be used as a melee weapon that deals D Rank armed melee damage. Their primary use, however, is for flight. That being the case they are rather weak, only standing about 50 HP damage before being unusable.
Can gain a +20% boost in speed while flying.
Strengths:
♦ Shinobu can block out any attacks equal or below her rank with her wings.
♦ Flight being the primary use of any set of wings, Shinobu is able to fly at normal D-rank speed to travel or evade enemies.
♦ The wings can be used like another limb, capable of hitting opponents and dealing D-rank damage.
Weaknesses:
♦ Stronger opponents can potentially destroy the Umbra Volatus wings.
♦ Flying too high can be dangerous, as can be losing power mid-flight and falling.
♦ Projectiles fired by opponents a rank higher can get half of their attack through the shadow-wings. Opponents two ranks higher can completely get their projectile magic through.
♦ Without using speed boost Shinobu is only able to fly as fast as any D-rank mage can run

Description: With a weapon or simply her hand, Shinobu swipe her arm/sword like a blade through the air and generate a large 'slice' of pure, dense, darkness. The darkness slice deals D-rank spell damage and drains 5% MP from the target. It can travel for up to fifteen meters before fading out. Shinobu gains half the MP drained.
Strengths:
♦ The condensed darkness is quite powerful, cutting through projectiles, weak armor, and dealing fair damage.
♦ The slice drains a bit of Magic Power from opponents of equal or lower rank.
Weaknesses:
♦ The Shade Blade is hard to accurately aim, as it is one single-swoop attack.
♦ Stronger opponents will have their magic drained by 5% - 2% per rank, not by the full 5%.
♦ Allies in range of the large slice can be injured or drained of magic.
