Probably got lost

"I keep on hearing this fairy tail name, and by asking around i reached this town called Magnolia..

But where to go now?

This park is quite and nice , but is probably still far from that guild..."


Atsui sat on a bench in the park , and rummaging in the the small sack for a few seconds, he ended up finding something that looked like a sandwich.

It was a sunny day, pretty quiet, and he was enjoying the breeze blowing through the trees.

He had walked for days, his money were nearly finished, and that sandwich was the last thing he had to eat.
Raising his arms putting them on the top part of the bench, leaning back his head, he was trying to get a bit of rest from his long trip.

In the left hand the sandwich was slowly sliding from his hand, while the warmth comfort of the sun kissing his face cuddled him untill he nearly fell asleep.
But all of a sudden a dog coming out of the bushes, stole his last sandwich running away, leaving Atsui with the eyes wide open, and no words to express his disappointment, since that was his last meal.

After a few seconds Atsui stood up looking for the owner of that dog...

Sorano walked through the park, admiring the frost that had gathered slightly on some of the branches. With the sun shining through them, they truly were an amazing sight. Wrapping her scarf more tightly around her, Sorano walked on, looking at the few kids and strolling couples smiling. Though everyone else was smiling, the youngest human member of Fairy Tail, as usual, wore no particular expression. Sorano Granon was well known for being cold and aloof, and most people in Magnolia knew it.

Stepping off of a small bridge overlooking a frozen pond, the young mage and the tabby exceed who flew low beside her spotted a young man sitting by a tree. "Hey, Onii-san, it's a touch cold for sitting, isn't it? The sun's out, but there's still a bit of frost..." Sorano commented, looking at the man. She sensed a small flicker of magic from him, not as strong as hers, but beginner level. She quickly checked him for a guild mark, but found none. Weird. She knew there were such thing as guildless mages, since both her mentor's were, but most guildless mages were strong enough to stand on their own. Unless this guy had amazing fighting skills? Who knew?

Atsui's attention shifted from the running dog to a small child who was probably talking with him.

His face was serious and a bit surprised.
Why a girl so young was talking with a complete stranger? these were the thought that crossed his mind the first seconds, but then, something weird caught Atsui attention.

That little girl was no mere child.. she had a magic aura.
So young and already a mage? Now this city look a bit more interesting then before.. he was thinking.

After a few seconds of silence he started to look around himself as to understand, if she was really talking with him, and when he realized that was the case he decided to answer.

hem, yea, it's a bit cold but the sun is warm..

By the way..  since i feel you're not a common citizen, may i ask if you know where the fairy tail guild is?

As soon as he finished his sentence, his stomach started to growl soundly, and Atsui face easily showed that he was kinda embarassed.

Sorano nodded slightly, in response to the older mage's reply. Made enough sense, maybe his magic helped with the cold? Who knew?

"Yes, Onii-san, I do know where the guild is, actually. I myself am a member of the mage's guild, Fairy Tail. It would be my pleasure to show you there if you wish," Sorano replied to his question, showing the slit in her sleeve that showed the guild symbol I'm dark blue on her shoulder.

"Are you looking to join?" she asked politely.It wasnt unusual for people to go to the guild, whether to post jobs or to visit the huge swimming pool, but sometimes it was a mage looking to join, and as this person was a mage, it raised the probability.

To join the guild?

Atsui wasn't a very tall guy but, compared to the little girl in front of him , he was looking at her from the top , and he felt like hes way of doing and talking was a bit too serious for a young girl like her.

Atsui can't remeber his childood, but he feel for sure that his was awfull and the thought that a girl so young had to live by herself, even if inside a guild, made him feel simpathy for her.
A child should be a child and play with kids her age.

what could have happaned to this girl, so young and already a mage and part of a big and famous guild.. Atsui was thinking with himself.

The usually serious face of the guy, showed a warm smile to the little girl, while moving his hair from his eyes , because he knew a real smile need the eyes to meet, in order for the person in front of you to understand that smile is not fake..

I have no personal reason to join the guild i'm not even a great mage but...

Atsui stopped for a second raising his head and looking at the sky.

Someone told me i had to join this guild to find out a certain thing.

It was pretty obvious that "that someone" wasn't alive anymore, and it was someone dear to Atsui, and as soon as he turned his eyes back to the little girl , he realized that maybe he could have just answered with a "yes".
But the eye of that girl, in a way so serious in another so lonely, without asking for everything at the same time they looked like they definitely needed love and friendship.

It wasn't a big smile, probably it wasn't even a smile, but Atsui tried to be as nice as possible with that little girl.

Ok then, "sensei" i'm in your hand, lead the way

Since she was and older member of the guild compared to him, he decided to talk in a way that girl would appreciated, or at least that is what he thought in that moment.

Watching his aura under her cold gaze, Sorano stiffened when she saw pity flickering in and out. She hated pity. Nobody seemed to understand that she needed no pity. She had a whole huge family in Fairy Tail, and there was something else... Sorano was emotionless. Almost literally. She had learned a special meditation technique that allowed her to cage her emotions, and keep herself from feeling any. So, she felt nothing. Presumptuous people...

However, relaxing her muscles, calming herself, Sorano looked back up right at the man, who smiled slightly. Ugh. More pity. Feeling a slight burst of stubborn normal teenage pride, Sorano frowned at him reprovingly. "Onii-san, you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, you know. Feeling sympathy doesn't do anything. Besides, Im not in any way all alone. I have a team, a supporting guild, and Hoshi, of course, to keep me company," she told him, gesturing to the shy exceed.

Then, hearing him talk of someone she could easily tell was deceased, Sorano ignored it, not liking to deal with things of emotion. Walking onwards again, with Hoshi flying low behind her, Sorano lead the way back to the guild. Reaching the hall at last, Sorano turned back to look at the man.

"Welcome to Fairy Tail, mastered by Wizard Saint Heero Reyolds-sama. In case I forgot to tell you, my name is Sorano Granon, C rank mage of Fairy Tail and the team Flame of the Phoenix. If you are to join, this will be your new home, your new family," she said formally, bowing slightly as she opened the door to let him in, "By the way, Onii-san, I am thirteen, you know, not seven."
