- In this thread is listed all the land owned by the Dawnson family. However since the Dawnson family is ancient and massive there will also be some lore provided. Some NPCs will be created to fill in the appropriate roles. Mind you all of these is plot relevant and contains vital info for plot threads that will be written in the near future. Everything written here will play a major role in following plot threads and can affect El and everyone who accompanies him on those threads.
- Family Lore:
- The Dawnson family is an ancient and most noble clan. They hail from a world other than Earthland. However their exact origins remain shrouded in mystery. What is common knowledge to the public though is that in our days most of the family members find their home in Sukai or Kyoka.
Since the many years from its founding the Dawnson family has been split into various branches. Each branch is part of the family and each branch will send representatives to the annual Clan Meeting. This meeting is regulated by the High Council, whose members come from the ten most wealthy and influential branches of the family. Due to the many branches, many different states of mind come into contrast with each other, thus resulting into internal conflicts. Such conflicts aren't common but neither are they rare.
It is interesting to note that since the founding of the family, the name of the main family has been slightly changed. It has undergone many mutations. Mainly because female heirs that married into other families had to add their husband's surname to their own or change it completely. The current surname of the main family is Dawnson-Shurz.
The Dawnson family became known for the unique magic they invented and use. Synchronize, is a form of magic where one can merge parts of his sou, or even his whole soul, with anything else that contains a soul. Or at least that's how it was in the beggining. Nowdays many branches make use of slightly different variations of Synchronize. The most notable variations are: Power of Law, where one can merge with the "soul" that governs over an aspect of reality (ie Law of Fire) and Soul Weapon, a form of magic where one integrates his own soul into a weapon.
Land Wealth of the Dawnson Family
- Castle of Dawn:
The Caslte of Dawn is one of the two buildings of the Dawnson family that house the most members. It's located in Sukai and is home to the Dawnson-Shurz family and all of theur employees/retainers. Of course such a vast building houses other members of the family too. Many members of the family and outsiders come here to join the Guards of Azure Light, the elite unit of the Dawnson family. At least as far as Sukai is conserned.- Leader of the Guards of Azure Light:
The leader of the Guards of Azure Light, Raphael Dawnson-Shurz. A mindblowingly strong mage. He specialized in sword combat. He uses the standard form of Synchronize and has merged his soul with the archangel of death, Azrael. Not only is he the captain of the Guards of Azure Light, he is also the one who trains new recruits.
