Personality:

On the surface, Halibel initially appears to be a strong-willed girl that tries her best to up hold chivalric qualities befitting that of a knight; some of those qualities being contempt towards unfairness and deceit, obedience towards authority, boundless courage and a (sometimes irrational) need to protect other people. The way these qualities are expressed however could make one think differently. When she is forced to deal with a person that she believes to be evil, her personality drastically shifts. She goes from kind and caring to borderline psychotic and sadistic. She enjoys seeing evil brought down, and truly believes violence is the go to resort for dealing with such people. In general though, when not dealing with evil people, she displays a kind but somewhat air-headed and childish personality. She has a lot of childish mannerism and can be as petty and stubborn. Despite all this though, Halibel is self-aware of her actions. In truth, she cares more about herself that she does anyone else. Halibel is openly narcissistic, making it very clear to other how highly she thinks of herself. Because of this, Halibel has the tendency to seek publicity for herself as a hero. She emits an aura that screams, “notice me” every time she get’s a chance to introduce herself in the presence of an audience. Halibel’s biggest character flaw would be the fact that she truly believes that she can do no wrong. Morality revolves around what she believes to be good or evil. This is not to say she doesn’t have any common sense when it comes to picking out evil people. She thinks that because she is a Holy Knight or Agent of God, any action she does is right in God’s eyes, even murder or torture. She uses this belief to feed her arrogance and justify her sadistic and coldblooded demeanor.

On the battlefield, Halibel becomes enticed by the thrills of combat. As per her knightly personality she never refuses a challenge or turns her back to a foe. Her most noticeable feature on the battlefield would have to be her bloodlust when she is fighting. When she gets like that, her aura and facial expression can almost be described as totally psychotic and unstable. The longer she fights, the more she wants to simply hurt her opponent and draw blood. Halibel doesn’t particularly like being lead in battle since it can sometimes hinder her ability to go all out, and this usually leads to her disobeying her leader more and more as the battle progresses. When she is tasked with leader other people, her personality doesn’t change. She will most times neglect her subordinates in an attempt to get as much fighting time as possible. It would take someone that Halibel really respected for her to follow orders on the battlefield. When someone is able to properly put Halibel’s bloodlust in check, she becomes a rather useful tactical asset. She enjoys fighting offensively, and had almost completely avoided learning any defensive tactics to aid her in combat. Halibel is truly a demon on the battlefield with a “take no prisoners” attitude to match. When she decides that someone is evil and needs to be killed, her mind can rarely ever be changed. She is a stubborn person both on and off the battlefield.

Likes

Justice: Halibel is a justice-seeker by nature. She enjoys seeing other people paying for their evil deeds, and even more so when she is the one making them pay. Her sense of justice is however twisted since her views of right and wrong ultimately revolve around her personal moral compass.

Fighting: She is in love with combat and never turns away from a fight. She enjoys the rush of being in a life or death situation. An opponent would have to be unimaginably frightening for her to want to turn away from fighting them.

Praying: Halibel is a true Holy Knight and takes her religion very seriously. She often prays to before going into battle or when she is in fear. It is something she really enjoys doing, and it seems to calm her down when her emotions get heated.

Cake: The food Halibel had growing up hardly ever had flavor. In fact she rarely ever had food to eat most nights. After the first time she tasted cake, she began addicted to eat. She probably eats on average 4 whole cakes a week if not more. It a wonder how she is able to keep her figure.

Dislikes

Dark Mages: She absolutely despises Dark Mages, and has made it her personal mission to punish them for the sins they have committed. She cares very little about the situation of the individual. If they can be identified as a dark mage, they deserve the worst kind of punishment.

Demons: They are the ultimate form of evil. It’s no surprise that they would be one of the things she hate the most. Unlike dark mages, she feels need to pay (with blood) for their evil acts, demons are intrinsically evil. Because of this she feels like any demon or unholy being needs to be killed. There are rare cases where her mind might change, but for the most part, if she knows someone is a demon, she will most likely attempt to kill them.

Evil People: She shows no mercy towards anyone who decides to commit immoral acts. She doesn't even like people who cut in line when she is getting lunch. She believes every crime has a punishment, and no one is above punishment (except her).

Sarcasm: She doesn’t understand sarcasm most of the time and is usually teased because of it.

Motivations

Being Good Knight: As a Holy Knight, it is Halibel's duty to uphold all things good and pure in the world. She takes her title as a Holy Knight more serious than anything, and goes to great lengths to show how serious she is. She wants more than anything to be the best knight she can be, and would do anything to prove that.

Power: Above most other things, Halibel wants to be strong. Perhaps it is because she grew up without much power but she had an unbelievable desire to become stronger than every person she encounters. Sometimes this causes her to dive head first into danger, but if it means she can come out stronger than she was before, then so be it.

God: Halibel is a Holy Knight and believes that she is fighting as an agent of God. This motivates her even further to destroy all evil that she sees. She truly believes every action she does is willed by God and because of that, she can do nothing wrong. In a way, this gives her a sort of "second-to-God" mentality that feeds her ego and superiority complex.

Fears

God Slayer Magic: The sight is evil people disgust her, but the idea that there are beings that are able to use magic so unholy that is can take out a god outright scares her.

Squid: They are the most hideous and grossest creatures known to man. How anyone could not be afraid of these creatures of underwater hell is beyond Halibel. Octopus are fine though... It's just the squids.

Weakness: Halibel fears the possibility that she will remain weak if she does constantly train and fight stronger opponents. She is more afraid of being weak than she is of dying to a stronger opponent.

Appearance

Halibel usually wears a green dress with a slightly longer skirt underneath. Her sleeve stop just above her elbows and her arms are clad in metal armor. She wears thigh-high stockings under her green boots that stop a few inches below her knees. A dark green scarf is lightly wrapped around the collar of her shirt. She has shiny amber eyes, and silky auburn hair.
