A smirk radiated from her lips as the Sabertooth guild master placed her rocket launcher on her shoulders back again. The debris began to clear out from her vision as huge holes appeared into her sight on the walls behind. Shrugging it off, her attention was directed back to the two angel scouts. Wings fluttered behind them rapidly, pulling them back on their feet. As soon as they caught sight of Chelvaric entering the room, the angel scouts instantly charged straight towards him, leaping onto his body with their arms transformed into deadly blades. Stunned, she was confused as to why her enemies went for Chelvaric when she was the one who attacked them until a sudden realisation struck her; Chel was a half-cat, which was probably the reason why the pack of corrupted angels and dog demons would hunt him down.

The soldier that accompanied the Sabertooth mages reacted even faster than her, throwing himself over the incoming attack in front of Chel and protecting him, not to mention, his reflexes were fast too. A satisfied grin curved onto her lips as a hint of darkness spread through the air around them. It was no other than the corrupted angels. Utilising shadow magic, it was advantageous for them to travel easily since shadows were able to move at the fastest at the fastest speed, coming second after the speed light. Since the enemies were prevented from attacking Chel any further, it was apparent that they had changed targets. The angel scouts began to dash around her, looking for places to land a clear attack on her. The angel scouts were enemies that could be taken down with slight ease, however, she made a note to herself to not underestimate their capabilities for their appearances can be extremely deceptive. Bright blue orbs hidden under her hood, her eyes followed every movement the enemies made.

With her gloved hands charged with electricity, she kept it perfectly hidden under her cloak so that her enemies wouldn’t notice. The moment the dog demons launched themselves at her, she brought our her fist forward that was charged with immense amount of electricity and pummelled through one of the angel scouts, in his torso, sending electric shockwaves through his body. The other opponent attempted to slice off her cloak, but to no avail; the attack didn’t even leave a single scratch on her clothing. The blades slashed the other side of her body as a follow-up attack and she failed to defend herself this time, despite how she had reacted in time, the woman received a rather large cut along her arm. Blood dripped down from her injury as she glanced down at the cut on her arm. Anger began to well inside her, sapphire hues glowing brightly from fury as she grabbed the corrupted angel from the collar of its clothing and propelled him down onto the ground, causing it to form cracks from the force that was produced within her hands. As a final attack, the woman landed her fist against the demon’s left cheek, leaving him to lay unconscious.

Content with what she had done to the corrupted angels, the woman whirled away from the bodies and turned around to the direction of the door. Due to her rockets, the entrance door was ripped from its hinges, barely hanging from its wedges. ”Ah, well, sorry about that. Didn’t mean to do it.” A cheeky grin tugged the corner of her lips, her hand ruffling the back of her pink hair. Being so engaged into battling with her enemies earlier, she was not aware that they were now so close to being getting caught by those dog demons. ”It’s better if we get out fast.” Blue orbs glanced around the area hastily, eyes peeling out for any enemies that might approach them. It wouldn’t be hard to handle the demons, however, it would surely take some time and who knows, there is a possibility that they would fail the mission as well. Just the thought of it made her eyebrow twitch in annoyance.

Nodding at Chel’s instructions, the woman left her partner on destroying the portal while the soldier and her will distract any enemies that approaches them. Vents were located in the room they had just entered. It was a dead end and there was almost no choice but to use the vents as an escape. ”Be safe, alright? Also, make it fast. I don’t want to be stuck here for a long time.” The woman spoke her last words before they parted ways, silently whispering her prayers to the nameless gods above for the safety of Chel. She was sure he would be fine on his own but it could still be likely that danger would be ahead. For her, she knew she had the capabilities to blow up the whole basement, albeit, it would cost thousands of lives and she would prefer to go the harsh way, if needed. Fingers firmly placed on the corners of the metal bars of the vent, she peeled it off from its place and located it beside her. It was quite small, but sure enough, she would be able to fit in it. The woman glanced over to Chel for one last time before they parted ways as she pushed herself into the opening in front of her, crawling her way to the end of the path.

The light from the other end reached further into the barely lit vent, reminding her that the exit is just one reach of her hand. She clung onto the hope that this would all be over sooner or later, with victory on their side, despite how numerous lives have been killed, it would be worth it for they all had fought with bravery and confidence. Pushing the metal bars that were locked in the exiting hole, Hika crawled out of the vent and heaved out a sigh of relief, waiting for the soldier to exit the vent after her. A shadow loomed above her and the woman snapped her head around only to see an extremely tall guy with a twisted smile resting on his lips, eyes clear of ill intent.

The Sabertooth guild master raised her chin, sapphire orbs peering at the demon through her thick, dark eyelashes. Arms crossed over her broad chest, the woman let her eyes wander over his body, taking in his features. From his profounding appearance; bulky muscles protruding from his shoulders and limbs, he was a rather horrifying and appalling sight for her. Her mouth twisted into a disgusted sneer, her face cringing. It was surprising how he had no weapons on his body yet he was the leader of this whole pack of dog demons. While Chel was busy destroying the portal, they are responsible of taking care of this big guy and to distract him from interrupting Chel. She noticed how the leader kept exchanging looks between her and the portal. Hika would never let him pass through her or he would have to kill her. Eyes glanced over to Chel to make sure he was doing fine with the electronics, albeit, he appeared to be struggling slightly. Her brows furrowed immediately as panic began to rise within her, wondering if he would be able to destroy the portal.

The woman immediately directed her attention back to the general of the dog demons, ensuring that he was still there in position. ”Get away, you filthy humans. This is none of your business.” The dog cursed at her in dismay, only to bring a wicked grin on Hika’s face.


Folding her arms once again, the woman teased him, a soft chuckle escaping her lips which seemed to have angered him quite badly. A loud snarl left from his foul mouth as he latched out long strands of hair towards her, trying to push her away from her position. With her swift movements, the woman back flipped away from the strands of hair that tried to grasp hold of her and spoke, a hint of sarcasm in her tone, ”And, I don’t actually mind you killing me.”

The rose-haired woman was playing all of this so that Chelvaric would destroy the portal quicker, but it seems like he’s struggling with something. Perhaps some code. ”Tsk.” Her tongue clicked at the roof of her mouth, under her breath so that the dog demon would not hear her. The sound of the sirens blared through the whole area, almost deafening her ears. Her eyes widened, immediately twisted her head to Chel’s direction to see that the portal was ready. Due to the alarms beeping through the whole basement, almost all the soldiers entered the room, flocking around the three of them. Without any hesitation, the woman summoned a magic rune just underneath the general of the dog demons and made sure he was locked down onto the ground so that he was immobile. Summoning another magic circle with a few motions of her hands, a huge lighting serpent emerged from the magic circle and stood in front of all the enemies that were in the room, blocking their path, as if he understood what she was planning to do. A sly smile rested on the pink-line of her lips before she gently caressed the tough skin of the serpent and threw herself into the portal, right after Chel and the soldier.

The portal closed behind them, the white area they had just entered vanishing slowly before her eyes. Strangely enough, the three of them were floating, as if they were in space before a sudden force pushed them around, in weird motions and there was no way to resist the force, not even her. The Sabertooth guild master and her companions were thrown about, in mid-air, as if they were balls in the circus. Her vision was all muddled up, she could barely see straight, trying as hard as she could to maintain her balance. Soon, they landed on the ground with a thud and Hika fell flat on her bottom. Her vision was still blurry from the harsh journey they had just had as she placed two fingers on her temple and massaged it, shaking her head at the same time. ”..W-What was … that?” Her words were slurred from the dizziness she felt. The woman would blink her eyes rapidly and shake her head furiously until her sight was returned completely back to normal.

Indigo hues glided to the view below her, only to behold a sight of buildings sprawled out in front of her, among the vicinity of the huge town called nekotamia. It was as if they were all in the modern world; bright lights twinkling in the city, huge yet eccentric buildings towering above each other. The view was majestic above the mountain, variety of colours exploding everywhere from every corner of the building. The woman slowsly pushed herself on her feet with the help of Chelvaric, her eyes still glued to the landscape before her. Everything looked so technological, with machines and mechanics and all those scientific objects. No wonder Chel manipulates robots and other mechanical objects, the genes from the cats in this city was within him. The corners of her lips twitched up into a smile as her eyes crossed over the gaze of blue, fingers wrapping tightly around Chel’s hand. ”Mhm, I’m alright.” The woman nodded, reassuring her that she was as fine as she could be and dusted off her clothes. A slight chuckle escaped her lips once Chel spread his arms wide open towards the townscape and yelled out the name of the city.

Afterwards, Chel directed them to follow him, in which she did. The woman glanced over the city for a one last single look before they would disappear somewhere else, perhaps back to their guild now that the mission has been completed. This was one heck of a tiring day, yet she considered it as worth all the troubles they had been through for lastly, victory was in their hands and Chel's hometown was safe and sound. "Remember to take me back there if you're going back to the city." The woman spoke, rushing up to his side and slipping her hand down his arm while interlocking her fingers with his. Once they reach home, the Sabertooth guildmaster decided to make a huge feast for the both of them, as well as the Sabertooth guildmates, of course.
