Username: Brennan Skyllon
Secondary Magic Name: Deck of the Damned
Evidence of Accomplishment: Secondary Magic change approved here.
Description: The Deck of the Damned is unique. It is the only one of it's kind in existence. The back of the cards of the Deck of the Damned are very unique. Whenever the user activates the effect of a Suit or casts a spell, the red jewel on the back of each card will glow brightly and pulse, then the effect will be activated. The Deck of the Damned is very strange, because it is to some extent, sentient. It can communicate with it's user, telling them what it thinks is ideal to win the fight. Another thing that makes this deck special is how incredibly versatile it is. The Deck of the Damned can be used to do simple things like throwing cards, it can be used to summon a demon, it can be used to fire powerful energy blasts, among other things. The demon that can be summoned by the Deck of the Damned is for all intents and purposes a demon, however, what it actually is is the true form of the Deck of the Damned, the ever-so-infamous Lucifer. The Deck can be used for many things, from summoning Lucifer's minions, to creating demonic swords, to merging the user's very body with Lucifer, among other uses.
Brennan uses the Deck of the Damned with caution, for he knows that Lucifer resides within the deck, but he also knows how powerful the deck is, and when the situation calls for it, he can use the full power of the deck, hoping the keep the side-effects to a minimum.

Strengths:
- Deck of the Damned has it's own separate mana source (see Deck of Cards Unique Ability) which allows it to be used without impacting the primary magic.
- Cards from the Deck of the Damned can be manipulated using special mana strands (see Deck of Cards Unique Ability) which makes it a very confusing magic to deal with.
- The Deck of the Damned is very versatile, allowing the user to do many things, from manipulating cards to summoning demons, to shooting energy blasts.
Weaknesses:
- The separate mana source for this magic only has 52 total mana, not letting this magic be used as much as a primary magic.
- Spells from the magic can use up to 52 Cards (the equivalent of mana) which means it is often not possible to cast a spell due to it's high casting costs.
- Cards manipulated always consume Cards which means the user has to be very conservative.
- Due to it's nature, most Deck of the Damned spells are used to Holy magic.
Abilities:
- Deck of Cards:
The Deck of the Damned is, in a way, self-sufficient. The user does not have to use any of their own mana to cast spells with the Deck, instead they use something called 'Cards'. The Deck of the Damned provides 52 Cards for the user to use how they see fit, and as long as they do not have the max number of Cards, they regenerate one Card per post.
Naturally, as with any type of card, the user can throw cards created by the Deck of the Damned, but the cards from the Deck are special, they are extremely sharp, sharper than any sword, causing each hit with one to deal user ranked melee damage. Throwing a Card from the Deck of the Damned consumes one Card from the user's pool, however once they throw it, the user can manipulate the card at will for one post, using special mana strands created by the Deck of the Damned, these mana strands are invisible, and pass straight through normal humans. Also, they can do many things with mana strands, from straightening them to create extra mana strands from one single card, to attaching mana strands to walls and other objects. The user can throw as many cards as they wish in one post.
Also, due to the Demonic nature of the magic, the user has the ability to store people in cards. Naturally, this consumes one card, and there are some restrictions. If this is used on a player character, there must be OOC consent to do so, and the user can only have 4 people in cards at a time. Also, there can only be one person in each card. The user can remove a person from a card whenever they would like.
- The Four Suits:
Like any deck, there are four different suits of cards in the Deck of the Damned. However, unlike a normal deck, the Deck of the Damned, each of these Suits is very unique. Whenever the user throws a card or casts a spell, they must roll a die with BBCode with numbers from 1-4. Depending on what number they get, they receive a different effect, changing the way they must use the spell/card throw. The user can choose not to roll for a Suit.
1- Spades: Spades are shovels, so they wouldn't be much good in a card. Instead, Spade cards gain a stunning blade-like ability, transforming them into cards with the ability to become razor sharp knives. These knives can be transformed from card to knife at will, and when in knife form, they make attacks with cards more effective. This causes attacks done with cards to deal armed melee damage one rank above the user. Also, they can cut through practically anything with ease.
2- Clubs: Smashy smash smash! Clubs can smash through things, and Club cards reflect this property. Because of this, Club cards gain Crash magic-like properties, causing anything they hit to smash into pieces, however, player created defensive spells will not be shattered unless they are below the user's rank. Also, Club cards deal armed melee damage one rank above the user.
3- Diamonds: Diamond is the hardest material known to exist, and when a Diamond is rolled, this property is reflected in the cards. If a 4 is rolled, all cards used in the throw or spell will become transparent like diamonds, making them unbreakable to any spells of the user's rank or below. Diamond cards can also transform into a diamond coating around the user or their allies, protecting them from one spell of their rank or below (caps at A-Rank). If this diamond property is used, the spell loses all of it's abilities except for the protection ability.
4- Hearts: The heart. It is a vital organ. It is what keeps us alive. Heart cards reflect this property, and as long as they have a Heart spell/card throw active, they have a 2% MP (not Card) regenerative factor. Also, whenever a Heart card cuts an ally, they regain 10% of their health (can be used a max of 2 times for each Heart rolled).
Spells:
- Lucifer's Calling:
D-Rank Spell Name: Call of the Devil: Lucifer's Calling
Rank: D
Duration: Lasts until another spell is cast (maximum of 3 posts)
Cooldown: 4 Posts
Type: Demonic/Supportive
Cost: 1 card
Description: In order to activate Lucifer's Calling, the caster must hold one of their cards into the air and say: "I call upon thee, king of the Demons, ruler of the Underworld! Lucifer, I beg thee to aid me in my conquests!" Upon saying this, the card will catch fire, and as soon as the user drops it onto the ground, a glowing red pentagram will appear, and will follow the user around. Once they cast Demonic Summoning Spell (categorized by having a type of Demonic/Summoning) their summon will have a 25% melee strength increase. It is always 25% increase regardless of the user's rank. Also, the Summon has 10 cards floating around it, which it can control at will. These cards have the attribute of the Suit of the Lucifer's Calling spell.
Strengths:
-> The melee strength increase is unaffected by the usual rank debuff that occurs as the caster ranks up.
-> This spell provides cards for the next summoning spell that the user casts.
-> Has a cost of only one card.
Weaknesses:
-> Has no offensive capabilities of its own.
-> The user must hold their hand into the air to cast this spell, so they cannot use it when they are bound.
-> The user must speak to cast this spell, so they cannot use it when they are gagged.
-> This spell is rendered obsolete if no summons are cast within three posts.
- Beelzebub's Blade:
- C-Rank Spell Name: Call of the Devil: Beelzebub's Blade
Rank: C
Duration: 6 posts
Cooldown: 7 posts
Type: Demonic/Requip
Cost: 7 Cards and 5% health
Description: Beelzebub's Blade is the sword of the infamous Prince of Hell, Beelzebub, and once this spell is cast, the user snatches it straight from Hell. Obviously, this angers Beelzebub, so in order to cast this spell, 5% health must be used as well. In order to cast this spell, the user must draw a full hand from the Deck of the Damned, and they must drop it. Once they drop the Deck, the cards arrange themselves in a straight line in front of the user's face, facing down. Then, they must turn over one of the cards, and as soon as this is done, the cards will shimmer and manifest Beelzebub's Blade. The sword deals user-ranked armed melee damage every hit, and in addition to this, Beelzebub's Blade has two special effects. Beelzebub's blade also has five cards floating around it, of the suit that was previously flipped over.- Beelzebub's Blade:
Passive: Fallen Angelic Resonance- Due to Beelzebub being one of the first angels to be banished, his sword gained special properties, allowing whoever wields his sword to gain the properties of a Fallen Angel. Whoever is in the possession of the sword gains two special abilities.
First off, they gain two black wings which allow them to fly at speeds 50% greater than their speed with buffs applied. These wings also cause the user to emit a faint black aura, which provides them dim light in the dark.
Second off, any attacks performed with the sword gain unholy damage and fire damage, this doesn't cause the sword to deal any extra damage to ordinary humans, but it does deal extra damage to Holy beings, Holy spells, Ice elements, and Ice spells.
Active: The Prince's True Form-
Duration: 1 post
Cooldown: 2 posts
Description: Once activated Beelzebub's Blade will shimmer a deep purple color and transform into in ax-- the Fallen Prince's Ax. The Fallen Prince's Ax deals armed melee damage two ranks above the user, capping at S-Rank.- Fallen Prince's Ax:
-> Functions as an actual weapon in the way that it increases melee damage.
-> Passive ability grants the user two effects.
-> Active ability further increases the effectiveness of melee attacks.
Weaknesses:
-> Must be used in melee combat, no ranged attacks.
-> The active ability only lasts one post.
-> 5% health must be used to cast this spell.
-> The user becomes weak to Fallen Angel Slayer magic (*cough* Daiki *cough*) and Devil Slayer while they are using this spell.
- Fragment of Lucifer:
B-Rank Spell Name: Call of the Devil: Lucifer Early
Rank: B
Duration: 7 posts
Cooldown: 8 posts
Type: Demonic/Summoning
Cost: 13 cards
Description: In order to cast this spell, the caster must take out thirteen cards, one at a time, and place them in a specific position. The first card they place will be slammed onto the air, and it'll sit there, as if there were an invisible ground. The next twelve cards must be placed around it, and once they do, the user must call out a specific phrase: "Twelve Card summon! Lucifer, grant me a fragment of your power in your days as an angel and come to aid me!" Once this is said, the middle card will flip over, revealing the Ace card of one of the suits, and then the other twelve cards will flip over, revealing all the other cards of the same suit. Once this happens, all of the cards except the Ace will glow, and they will transform into energy. Then they'll be absorbed by the Ace. Once this happens, the Ace will transform into this man, Lucifer, before he was banished from Hell. However, he does retain his Demonic powers, as seen in the abilities below. The Suit of card chosen determines the type of card Lucifer can throw at will (see passive ability). Lucifer can also fly due to his wings.
Passive: Demonic Fragment- Even in his previous form, Lucifer retains a fragment of his Demonic powers, allowing him to shoot black beam with a range of 30 feet that deal B-Ranked armed melee damage at will. All of his melee attacks also gain the darkness element. Also, Lucifer can throw cards that deal C-Ranked melee damage at will, and they are of the suit that was rolled. He cannot manipulate these cards once they're rolled.
Active: Demon Form
Duration: 1 post
Cooldown: 2 posts
Description: Once activated, a Pentagram on Lucifer's chest will glow blood red, and his entire body will start to rip, and he'll transform into this man. While in this form, the effectiveness of the 'Demonic Fragment' ability is doubled, but Lucifer has no regard for Brennan's allies, often attacking them. Lucifer cannot fly in Demon Form.
Strengths:
-> Has a ranged attack for B-ranked damage.
-> Can throw cards for C-Ranked damage.
-> All of Lucifer's melee attacks are imbued with darkness energy.
Weaknesses:
-> Will in Demon Form, Lucifer has no regard for Brennan's allies.
-> Demon Form only lasts one post.
-> Lucifer cannot fly in Demon Form.
-> Lucifer cannot manipulate cards once he's thrown them.
