Tyriel stood in the center of the training room, she was panting heavily and a bead of sweat ran from her temple. There was nothing else in the room but her, and it appeared rather clean... but right in front of Tyriel was a weapon's rack, and there was a single thing on that rack. A long spear. It just laid there, untouched. She raised her hands and put her palms outward, facing the spear. From her hands appeared a gold and purple magic circle. It was beautiful and created alot of light. Then, from the spear, particles seemed to peel off it. This was the magical properties she encoded into the spear. Tyriel was decoding and downloading the object into her magical Archive. She gritted her teeth and concentrated as piece by piece the spear vanished and turned into magical data in which she downloaded. Once finished, the magic circle disappeared and she heaved over panting. It took alot of magical energy to be able to download and upload objects to be stored within her terminal of magic. This was something she had been working on for months. Tyriel first started with small objects, today it was weapons. She wanted to be strong, she wanted to be able to fight and protect herself. So she worked hard to be able to have these weapons.. but now her problem, how was she to fight with them? Tyriel never fought hand on hand combat before, she didn't know how to hold a weapon properly. She stood up and inhaled, taking a deep breath and exhaling. Pushing her hair back around her body she placed her hands out, except this time, her elbows were bent in and her palms facing upwards. A light circle erupted from her hands and soon small data particles pieced themselves back together. I appeared like small floating lights fell around her hands and glued themselves to each other. It took a minute but she soon had that very same spear in her hands. She was capable of downloaded objects and reuploading them to her body. This was her form of requip. She would get faster each time. She had to.. Tyriel sighed, but now what to do with it? She held the metal spear in her hand and felt it's weight. Was she making a fool of herself? she stared intently at the weapon before placing it once more in the rack. Just to download it again. She could at least practice getting faster. |

Stretching pale muscular arms, Ardere let out a heavy groan. He had been tired today, and there was only one fix for that; training. Boots tapping against the floor, he stampeded through the hall towards the training room. Staying up all night and researching about some things going on back home, he had not gotten the correct amount of sleep. It seemed things in Midi were a bit hectic, but this was his home. Fiore had been his home for years, and this was his land to protect, not Midi. The purpose of researching it was a bit of curiosity, and a bit of concern. Wars tended to shake the continents, not just the countries. Shaking it out of his mind, his cloak shifted side to side as he walked. His leather and wood covered body was beginning to loosen up a bit as he walked, perhaps getting up was a good idea. While getting more sleep might have been the viable option, he entered the training room anyways. And much to his interest, he spotted Tyriel. Someone he had not expected, but did not mind; the Head of Resilience. The young woman he was gazing at appeared to be doing some spear play, or at least her attempt at it. Sliding an armor covered hand onto his hip, he stood and watched hopefully unnoticed. Having fun there, are we? His calm voice echoed through the room, as his blazing orange eyes were fixed on the purple haired mage. He slowly and casually walked towards her, loose movement of his limbs. Ardere observed the spear and the woman, who he liked to consider close. He had picked her as an Ace for a reason after all, and she was in charge of an important thing; the hall. While defense was her job, combat experience was always important in a guild. Considering her magic, he didn't take her for the stab it in the face type. Which was not a bad thing. @Tyriel WC: 332/250 Post: 1/10 | Every wound will shape me. Every scar will build my throne. MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0 |

She had completed the Requip and Upload once more before she heard his words behind her. Tyriel was a little startled but had let it slide over her. She turned to look at her guildmaster, the Spear resting in her right hand. She looked at it and glanced at him. " I want to become stronger... " she said completely ignoring his question. She figured it wasn't one he wanted a sarcastic answer to anyways. What she told him was the truth, after everything that was happening lately, she couldn't be weak. She wanted nothing more to protect the guild and everyone in it. This was her new family, and she wouldn't let them slip through her fingers and die. Not like her mother and father who died protecting her. Not like the entire city that was purged due to her. Or like the love of her life that died to let her escape... She blamed herself for not being strong enough. Why did everyone have to die for her sake?? So Tyriel felt that she needed to become strong, so they wouldn't have all died in vain, that she too can give up her life for someone precious. She clenched her hand around the spear and blinked hard. She was trying hard not to cry. " Teach me..." She muttered softly to Ardere before bowing her head respectively. " Teach me Kirei!!" She then yelled out, no longer caring that she cried. She had too much pent up feelings about training. She wanted to learn how to fight. " Teach me to fight, teach me to protect my family." Tyriel stood back up at looked at her master Ardere. They had just recently strengthened their relationship. He did make her an Ace as it was. The woman had a determined face, there was no way she would back down, even if he said no. Posts :: 2/20 || Words :: 316 |

Ahh, well I would imagine so. This is a good place to do it. Nodding at the purple haired woman's words, Ardere inspected some of the weapons on the racks. Spears, swords, and shields alike. None of them were particularly special, their main purpose was to practice with and get the hang of how to use the weapon. They were for practice, basic weapons. This did not mean they were not well made, the opposite in fact. Reaching his pale hand out to one of the spears, he grabbed it before turning to face his Ace once again. Much to his dismay, she appeared to be somewhat distressed. Twisting his light colored lips, the fire mage let out a light breath. All you had to do was ask, no need to beg friend. I'm always willing to help out. Putting an armor covered hand on her shoulder, he would pat her back before giving her a friendly side hug. It was not long ago he found himself yelling out to the world to get stronger, and even though he had gotten stronger, it was not enough. There were enemies out there far beyond his capabilities, and he could not rely on God Force. Walking out in front of Tyriel, he held the spear close. He had come to care for her, as a good friend. She was someone he could rely on, and he would never let a friend feel sorrow or as if they cannot protect the ones they love. I may be a swordsman, but I've learned a fair share of weapons in my time. Spears and staves are perhaps the best if used correctly, they can disarm, they have perfect range, and they are great for fighting multiple enemies at once or even just one. Flipping the spear up so his arm would appear slightly wrapped around it, and the wood would line up against the side of his chest and his shoulder. Sliding his foot back, he took a stance facing the wall. This was so the young woman could see what he was doing. The pointed end facing back, he flipped it back over and into his other hand. Thrusting the blade forward, the sheer force of the thrust sending some wind scraping against the ground. Twirling the blade in his hands, he tossed it up and caught it. Ehh...let's just practice lunges for now. @Tyriel WC: 401/250 Post: 2/10 | Every wound will shape me. Every scar will build my throne. MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0 |

A great wave of relief flooded over Tyriel as he seemed open to the idea of training her. It wasn't because of the fact that she was worried about being turned down, it was that she knew she was in good hands. She smiled at her master as he explained what he knew about the weapon she had chosen. While that would not be the only weapon she would fight with, it was certainly a start. The woman gave a nod and walked over to pick up another spear. She opted for him to keep the one he had in his hand so he could give a better example. However, just before she grasped the new weapon Tyriel stopped to think. She looked back at the one he had and then again at the one she hesitated in front of. This was the part where she would get her practice in, but she wasn't just here to learn how to fight with a weapon, she was also here to learn how to achieve greatness with a weapon. So instead of grabbing a new one, Tyriel turned back and held out her hands. It was easy to make the object whole after downloading it, but duplication? This was a difficult process. She gritted her teeth and felt her magical power erupt around her. Tyriel concentrated as magic circles illuminated her palms and the light swept over her. Her brows furrowed and she felt her whole muscles tighten as pieces of magic flew around her, piecing themselves together and forming a new spear.... Taking a few moments it was finally complete and Tyriel leaned over panting, but in her hands was a complete duplicate of the spear Ardere carried... however, this one was made up of complete magical particles, one's stronger than what she had taken in. Tyriel smiled and faced her teacher, staff in hand she looked at him with a determined face. " I don't care what it takes." Posts :: 3/20 || Words :: 315 |

Ardere nodded, and let out a heavy breath. Good, because physical training is not easy. Outside of this instruction, you will have to tone yourself up a bit. Removing his long flowing cloak, the fabric would be tossed over towards the weapon rack. Removing the majority of his armor, it was quite the unusual sight to see him without it. The only clothing remaining was his zipped up red jacket, and his red/black pants accompanied by boots. This allowed his body to be a bit more free flowing for instruction, where as in combat he liked to wear tight leather armor for tougher movement. Alright, I'm gonna show you some strikes. Try to replicate these. Lunging his blade forward, the guild master swept it to the side as if slashing. Then he would drop low to sweep an invisible opponent's legs out from under them before bringing the blade down at an angle to finish them off. Moving the spear backwards to hit an invisible opponent with the butt of the spear, he lunged it forward then back in a double motion to appear as if he was alternating between hits. Spinning around, he swept his blade across the side with some force. Bits of wind scraping across the ground, he turned back to the purple haired woman. Holding his spear back, he gave a reassuring look. Now come at me with all you've got. I wont hurt you, but I want you to try to hurt me. Sliding his foot back to take a stance, he appeared to be quite serious. He had no interests in going easy on her, but he would not hurt her. The best way to learn from someone, was to try to beat them. Experience was the best form of learning, and he needed an accelerated path such as this. @Tyriel WC: 307/250 Post: 3/10 | Every wound will shape me. Every scar will build my throne. While her master and teacher was removing the unnecessary armor from his person's, Tyriel leaned her spear against a rack and placed her hands underneath her hair. She pulled on it and finally was able to put it up in a long ponytail. It was still massively long but at least this way it was out of her face. She waited for him to get more comfortable and then listened as he explained what he wanted her to do. Copy movement, easy. Using her magic, she studied each movement he performed, each strand of muscle work. Tyriel waited for her turn before stepping up in a stance with the weapon she provided herself. With a determined look she slowly produced the same movement, unable to do it as fast as her master, but that was because of her lack of strength. She panted and was sweating a bit after all of that, feeling the effect of her magic loss. She wasn't about to quit now, when they just started! She looked at him and arched a brow. He wanted her to attack him?? Was that such a safe idea?... Tyriel felt a bit nervous about it, until he took his stance. He was 100% sure about it and she wasn't going to take him as a fool. He would be fine, he was stronger than her, so much stronger. Tyriel took her stance, she took a fast second to transverse into her mind all the knowledge she had on spear fighting. The woman had an arsenal on information on all fighting styles, years worth of information she read for light reading in the library. It was time. She burst forward, lunging the head of the weapon from a low right side to a high left, sweeping across his chest. Then following the trajectory of her angle by spinning on her heel, letting the end follow a direct line with the tip. She completed a full spin to thrust the weapon forward, aimed right at his chest, then brought it up to block any incoming attacks. Posts :: 4/20 || Words :: 347 |

Ardere waited for the Archivist to make her move, and he was not disappointed. Sliding the spear to the side, he kept it vertical. Keeping it vertically allowed him to block the slash aimed at his chest, and slide backwards to avoid her as she spun. She was not the strongest mage, but she was certainly quite intelligent. As a book worm, he imagined she had read a lot about fighting in many styles. Side stepping the thrust, he slid his hand out before she could pull it back. Grabbing the wooden part of the spear, he stared right into her eyes intently. I've gotten a hold of your weapon, what do you do now? Not moving, he held the spear to the side with his superior grip. Then he would point the spear towards her, obviously awaiting a response rather than attacking. He knew she could not move it no matter how hard she tried, and she would have to rely on something else. You counter attack with a kick or a punch, then jump back. Before she could counter attack, he pushed her back, using the spear as added momentum for the force. If she was successfully pushed, her body would not tumble as he did not attempt to harm her. The more likely scenario would be that she would slide back a few meters and easily gain her balance. He was quite aware of her limits, but they would soon overcome them. Sometimes you have to forget what you read, and just react. While you may be more analytical than instinctual, you're going to need to use your instincts. Dont think, just do. Twirling the spear in his hands, he brought it back. Don't worry, you're doing well. Now come at me again. Sliding back, he would await another attack from Tyriel. This training was far from over, but she possessed the most important thing; determination. @Tyriel WC: 320/250 Post: 4/10 | Every wound will shape me. Every scar will build my throne. Her attacks stopped as he grabbed her weapon and she cursed herself on the inside. Tyriel gritted her teeth. It was true, she didn't know what to do in a situation like this. Counter by kicking, or punching.... She had never hit anyone in her life.. with meaning it 100% that is. She grunted slightly as he pushed her back and she lets her eyes stay fixated on him. Tyriel always depended on what was in books, the answers were always there at the touch of her fingertips, all she had to do was find them... But what he asked her to do, to rely on her instincts, was like guessing. One wrong answer could mean death. But she would not be able to fight with words.. She had to feel it in her heart. She closed her eyes and gritted her teeth as he egged her on again. This time she would give it all that she had, and it would be from what she felt, not what she has read. Tyriel screamed out and sprung forward, her magical aura erupting around her in a soft light. She attacked with all the ferocity she possessed, bringing the weapon over her shoulder in a downward swing and then flipping it back under her arm to thrust forward before stepping to swing her leg around horizontally in a round kick. She felt like an animal attacking this way, but this is where she could make her mistakes appropriately. Tyriel brought the spear around, the tip nearly scraping against the ground to slash at his chest once more. Posts :: 5/20 || Words :: 347 |

Readying himself, a smile crossed the pale lips of the guild master. Ardere was slightly excited, it was not often that he got to use a spear in sparring, let alone training someone else in it. Waiting for her to charge, he read her moves like a book. She was intelligent and she was getting better, but luckily she had a skilled mentor. Her light aura would appear, and in response his aura blacker than the night would shimmer across his body. It was off-putting for someone as good and moral as the fire mage to have such a dark aura, but it was part of what made him unique. Lifting his spear up to block, he noticed the change in her movements. She was moving to thrust, which she had not done before. Following up with her attacks, this was progress. Spinning his staff around hers with one hand, he would side step to avoid the thrust. Bringing up his other arm, specifically the forearm, it blocked the kick easily. A smirk crossing his lips, he was rather impressed with her ferocity. The ground beneath them began to crack a bit, revealing the magic resistant metal underneath. She would bring it back to slash across his chest, but his back would arch towards the ground as his knees bent, and he watched the blade pass right over him. Lifting back up quickly, he slid back. That's good. Now would you like to continue with the spear or move on to another weapon? Tapping the wood of the spear against his shoulder, he seemed enthused as he awaited her answer. If she was interested in learning the sword or disarmament techniques, then he would be more than happy to oblige. Anything else would take some work, but he was confident in his own capabilities. @Tyriel WC: 305/250 Post: 5/10 | Every wound will shape me. Every scar will build my throne. His face turned up into a smirk and Tyriel smiled back. He had blocked every single one of her advances, but he at least recognized her as a opponent An amatuer one but a foe indeed. The woman watched him slide back and she arched her brow at his question. She instantly grew a smile ear to ear and in her hands the weapon disintegrated into small amounts of magical data. It took a moment but she was finally able to recreate a new weapon; this time it was a katana however. At first it appeared like a generic blade, one that you can find almost anywhere down in Midi. But this blade, was created using magical genetics, studying the creation of these fine blades from a book, Tyriel was able to recreate an amazing product. The Hamon glistened a beautiful silver with hints of violet hue; And the Tsuka matched with a violet twine. She smirked and grasped the sword in front of her, using two hands she shifted her foot back and faced him directly. " Like this Kirei?" she asked using the traditional word for Commander. She really respected his way of life, and didn't do this to mock him. She hoped he would see it that way. Tyriel gave another smirk before equipping into a Hakama, which was the traditional garment used for Kendo. She bowed respectfully before facing her opponent once more. Tilting his head ever so slightly as the young woman called upon a katana, Ardere grabbed Clarent. Pulling the red long sword from it's sheath, he slung it to the side. Some dust off the floor being picked up be sheer force, he slid his foot back to take a fighting stance as well. Yes, that's good. Turning to the side to demonstrate some strikes, he swung his blade horizontally before dishing out four diagonal strikes. Each strike appeared to be aimed at the neck and shoulders of an invisible opponent. The weak point on Midian armor was at the neck, hence why he was trained as such. Then, he would drop low before slashing horizontally. Twisting his blade, he blade it back before thrusting it forward. The movements were made at such a rate that Tyriel should be able to see them quite easily, it was important that she could read his muscle movements. Turning back to face her, he bent his knees slightly as he slid his left foot back. Holding the sword by his hip, blade facing the floor. It was obvious he held the blade in such a manner to strike upwards, in a diagonal motion from left to right. The neck is a good weak spot, but if you slash upwards diagonally on an unarmored opponent it will slide open their chest. It's best to do such when someone is striking downwards at you. Performing the diagonally slash, he would shift his stance by sliding his right foot back. Holding his blade up with his elbows bent, he would shift the blade from being vertical to being horizontal. Now try some of these moves on me. Don't be afraid of hurting me on accident, I can take it. One thing you need to relinquish is fear. You can do this. Being a master swordsman, she could go all out on him and he would be able to block each strike. Fortunately, swords were something he knew quite the bit about. @Tyriel WC: 320/250 Post: 6/10 | Every wound will shape me. Every scar will build my throne. MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0 |

His demonstration of how to use the blade was magnificent. Seeing him like this now sent a wave of emotion over her. He was so confident on the way he handled Clarent. She nodded in answer to his instruction. That would make sense to aim for the most vital spot on an individual... But was she sure that she could kill someone?... Tyriel studied him well and felt confident enough in herself to attack him. To drop all fear. She took a deep breath and took her stance once more, shifting her right foot back and squatting lower. By bringing back the hilt of her blade to her cheek, the way her wrist tilted caused the one sided blade to turn up, the soft curve parallel with the ground. Tyriel used her short height advantage by swooping in low by stepping forward, her knee almost to the ground, and lifting up suddenly with her other foot to leap in the air. The blade would be brought across his chest and Tyriel would spin mid air, bringing the blade around to try and catch him in the shoulder. Upon landing she would tuck and roll behind him, once more bringing the blade up to try and cut him at his knees. She grinned as she felt this within herself, finding her advantages. The biggest one is her size. Being faster than most lumbering opponents. She certainly wasn't as fast as Ardere, which came with years of training, but amateur opponents. Definitely. |

Sliding his pale fingers over the handle of the blade, Ardere readied himself for the young lady's attack. As she charged towards him, a black aura burst across his body. This black aura was intense, and destructive just like his flames. He analyzed her every move, each step and movement of her shoulders as well as her hips. Years of training and a bit of natural talent lead to the sharpness of the Samurai's mind. Preparing himself, she came in low, but quickly switched to leaping upwards. Bringing up his blade to block, steel would clash against steel. A few sparks sent out from the cold metal, he moved his body downwards. Ducking slightly, he would not allow her to follow through. During her spinning, he kept his blade high to block. Spinning around, his blade would twist to block her's at every angle, thus avoiding the slash across the shoulder. Using counter motion, his steel blade swept across the one she brought towards him. She landed gracefully, but rather than letting her just attack him, he chose to react. Leaping upwards and kicking the blade to the side, he avoided being cut at the knees. A smirk cross his pale lips as he landed back down. Diving in towards her, he reeled back his speed as to not hurt her. Coming at her with a lunge, he quickly spun himself around to avoid a counter attack. During his spin, he would slowly crouch down, prompting his next strike to be a diagonal one. Going from top to bottom, she would either need to dodge of block his strike. Unfortunately neither would be evil as he completely carried through from her shoulder to her side in terms of direction, and if hit it would not be pleasant. Fortunately, he had faith in her. Turning back after her reaction, he tapped the sword against his shoulder. Not bad so far. The Weight Of The World Just as Tyriel expected, Ardere had blocked each of her strikes effectively. She wasn't hoping to hurt him, but this did not make her feel comfortable in her efforts. When he asked about if there was anything she wished to go over, Tyriel's gaze fell to the floor. It was true that she was incapable when it came to combat, but she wished nothing more than to be strong. Infinity Hydra was riding on her strength. " Kirei... Why did you make me Head of Resilience?" She asked flat out. It did seem odd that he would choose someone like her. Sure she was good with paperwork, and could be a damn good secretary, but there was more to being an ace than being helpful. He had to see something within her to give her that position. The shield of Infinity Hydra. The guilds defense against the dark. The woman bit her bottom lip. She wasn't strong, she was frail and weak compared to others. Baal, Morpheus, Kiku; they were all more suitable candidates for Ace than her. Even Wolfe was stronger than her. She kept her eyes on the ground, her shoulders slumped in a bit, " I promise.... I promise i will become strong... I don't care what it takes... But i have to know why me." She gritted her teeth and had to try her damndest not to cry, Her lip quivering slightly. Things would have been so different, if only she possessed the strength to protect the people she cared about. Knowledge can only get you so far, like Ardere had said, she had to feel it now. Sliding the steel bastard sword into it's sheath, Ardere let a slight sigh escape his pale lips. Gazing into Tyriel's eyes with his orange piercing ones, his lip curled slightly. Readjusting his demeanor, the guild master walked over to his Ace and put a pale hand on her right shoulder. I'll be frank. You weren't my first choice. But I grew to trust you. Trust isn't something I just toss around, you earned it by always being there for me and helping around the guild so much. You may not be the strongest member of the guild, but you've proven you're not going down without a fight. And without you, the planning would really be shit around here. Patting her shoulder ever so slightly, he gave her a reassuring look. Don't worry. You're perfect for the position I put you in. If I really need someone to fight to the death, I'll call Haretsa. That's kind of her job. But I will train you, not for your job but for you. Letting out a heavier sigh, he unsheathed Clarent. Walking over to a group of sand bags, there were about ten of them hung up. They were for both martial arts and weapons training, often used to show blood splatter with the use of sand. He moved quickly, slashing through each of the bags with a single strike of his blade. Sand splitting, the bags were shattered and sand send flying across the area as his single strike obliterated the bags. The wind from his strikes so tough, he would likely have a painful time cleaning up all of this sand. Turning to face her, he nodded. You will become strong. That is not your promise to me, but my promise to you. Slowly walking towards her, he came in for a strike. Holding back his speed, she would likely block with ease. You want to fight don't you? Why? Do you want the villains to pay for their crimes? Or do you want to give them justice? Perhaps the reason you fight is for this guild, isn't that right? Then when someone steps on our land and tries to hurt the ones we love. You fight! And I will fight with you. That's your motivation. You're strong Tyriel, you just have to dig down into your soul and pull it out of you! Now, hit me! Going in for another strike, he was attempting to get her emotions flowing, some form of motivation dwelling deep inside of her. @Tyriel WC: 419/250 Post: 8/10 | Every wound will shape me. The Weight Of The World His words hurt her a bit, knowing she wasn't wanted for the reasons she wanted to be. Tyriel bit her lip, it was nice to know that she at least was useful for something... to giver her life in service to Infinity Hydra was her happiness. She would do anything for Ardere and her new found family. Tyriel spent a long part of her life alone, because she couldn't protect the people she needed to. She followed his steps to the sand bags and Tyriel watched as he sliced at the bag, causing sand to flow everywhere. That move showed her many things, her eyes widening as she felt overflowed. It was like the bag contained all the potential, and she had to cut at the strings that held her together to release her inner strength. Tyriel nodded as he stepped back, his goal was to attack her and she gritted her teeth. Today. This was the day, she would no longer be weak. She didn't need special training, she didn't need need weapons. It was what was inside of her. She brought up her sword, the hilt pointed up and the blade across her body to divert the attack away. Her arm shaking from the strength needed to block the advance, sparks sliding off from the metal slightly. His words flowed into her and she closed her eyes tight, holding back the tears that tried to flow from her violet orbs. Tyriel lowered her head, what was he prying at?! Why did he say the things he did? She blocked once more, feeling the strength he put behind Clarent. Tyriel had to bring in her block a bit before being able to push him out. After she was able to step away from him she dropped the sword and hung her head. Tears coming down and her teeth barred. Her aura glowed brightly as his words stung her. He ordered her to hit him, and she wanted to. She had the image of her past in her head and she wanted to strike out against it. To strike out against him. Tyriel clenched her fist and let out a scream. A deep one that was filled with all her anger and disgust for herself. Her aura became blinding, erupting in a split second. Magic particles flowing around her body as they pieced together. It only took part of a second before magic coated her body, forming armor across her skin. It fell together like a puzzle, placed onto her sing tightly. Her light faded and one would be able to see her standing there, In a armor of black, her hair a darker purple color, and in her hands she held a red spear. These items were not copied and replicated, they were formed from her magical energy and they radiated her power. She raised the spear to point at Ardere, " I will fight! For those i could not protect once; To protect those that need me now." Tyriel stepped off her foot, bringing back her spear. She was faster than before. Wind burst behind her and she left a small crater with her step, her magical aura distorting the area around her from her rage. Tyriel roared as she advanced on Ardere, stepping on her toes and raising her other leg to swing around her body to catch him with her heel, following her momentum with her spear. From there she would spin the red metal around in her hand to block his incoming attack and slash downwards to bring the head of her spear to his shoulder. She was not holding anything back, attacking with a speed she had never before, and with strength she didn't know she had. " Don't you hold back!!" Infinity Hydra || @Ardere || 255 Words |

Waiting a moment, he allowed her to gather herself. Ardere knew it was not easy to dig into your very soul, it was a painful experience. But it was something she would have to do, and he readied himself for it. Closing his eyes at the sight of her aura, he took a deep breath. He was ready, right up until she formed the armor around her body, and held that spear. Holding Clarent tight, his black flames aura gushed around his body. He appeared to be like a black flame, as he dug his feet into the ground. Then show me what you've got! Dashing towards her, he was using his full speed now. She was quite fast, but he was still a bit faster. As soon as she came in with the kick he would block, then jump up. Leaping upwards, he spun around her spear strike in mid air, using his sword to block any other movement. Performing a heel kick still mid air right to her chest, he would attempt to knock her back a couple of meters, sending himself back as well. Landing in front of her, he did not take any time to gather his thoughts or allow her to gather hers, he immediately went back in. The two mages were going all out in the training room, shaking the ground beneath their feet. He knew her armor was a sign that her requip magic was fully forming, and that was a good thing. He would put her armor and her spear to the test, unleashing brutal strength upon her. Coming in with a flurry of strikes, they were jabs. After about five quick jab strikes, he would bring his blade down full force once. Spinning around he would bring his blade to her in a horizontal motion. He knew how dangerous spears could be, and with her new found strength it was imperative that he kept her on her toes.

The Weight Of The World Tyriel grinned at his answer to her. She felt the heart in his attacks, and while she knew he was holding back enough to where he didn't overcome and hurt her, he was enjoying this just as much as she was angered by it. That did not make her mad but it fueled her to want to go faster, and hit harder. She brought her spear in front of her chest, using the metal rod to block his kick to her body, but the force still causing her to slide back a bit. Tyriel gritted her teeth and immediately stepped back in to engage him. She felt her breath begin to line up with her attacks and she was not struggling so much. She spun around, her body moving lithe around his quick jabs. That was an advantage she had, she was agile compared to his strength. But he was faster, and she felt the blade against her armor. It tore into the manifested magic, pulling at the particles. Clarent broke through the the skin, but she moved away from the attack, in the same direction as his momentum, which made the cut only a small slice in her shoulder. She hissed, but kept going as it was not enough to stop her at this point. Tyriel roared and tumbled to cut at him from below, then leaping from her crouching position to land on one hand to finish the backflip, landing firmly on her feet. That whole moved causing the spear to cut at him in a vertical momentum. Standing across from him she grasped at her arm which was bleeding quite a bit. He must have cut a large vein, as she started to lose the feeling in her arm. Tyriel released her requip, the armor and weapon fading into floating magical particles. She bowed to her master, blood running from the top of her shoulder down her left arm and dripping softly on the ground. " Thank you." Infinity Hydra || @Ardere || 255 Words |

Blows exchanged, the ground began to shake between the two mages. Ardere waited until she dropped down low, then slid towards her blade. At the last moment, he would slide to the left to avoid the blade, but continued to move forwards. Grabbing the pole, he used his superior strength to pick her up while he was holding onto the spear. Spinning her around, he would do so until she was flung backwards. Smiling at her while he did so, he watched as she moved past her limits. After the scuffle was over, she would bow to him. Returning the bow, he would exhale heavily. That wasn't bad. Not bad at all. Walking over to her, he slid his finger across her wound. Cauterizing the wound, his flames were so precise that they would barely leave a scar. It would hurt, but due to the depth of the cut she was less likely to feel the full effects. That'll do for now, but make sure you see Sayrn to get patched up. Walking back over to pick up his cloak, he would throw it over his broad shoulders. Letting another sigh escape his pale lips, the guild master patted his purple haired friend on the shoulder. Keep on training after this, and I'm sure you'll do just fine. Take care Tyr. Giving a half-hearted salute on his way out, the fire mage would be on his way to the tavern for a drink. The training had not been too intense for him, but he had at least broken a sweat, which was good for both of them. A nice cup of warm sake or even a soda would suffice at this point, but being made of fire could dry one's throat. Fortunately they had the pleasure of being in a great guild.

The Weight Of The World The feeling of his touch against her arm made her hiss and cringe. She knew he was just helping her, but she wanted to hurt him. However she wouldn't, he was only stopping the bleeding. The woman sneered at the thought of going down to see Sayrn. Tyriel had done everything in her power to prevent seeing her. The thought of her life being in the hands of Sayrn made her feel uneasy. She nodded to her master and watched him exit the training room. Her eyes glanced around as the magical room absorbed the left over dirt, grime and dust that was scattered, the floor seemed to repair itself, and even her blood disappeared like nothing had happened. That was far from the truth. She was going to leave this room a different person. Suddenly she felt a hand upon her shoulder. It was Hakurou; her dearest friend and beloved companion. He took his human form, his green eyes peering at her and he looked down on her. His human look was comforting, as his neck length hair swept around his face. He brushed his hand across her cheek. Tyriel knew how he felt about her. Protective, and something similar to love, even though he was not even human. But he would not be able to care for her like someone else could. Haku embraced her. Let me help you." he said as he walked out with her in his arms. He turned to head towards her room and Tyriel stopped him. " I am not done yet.." she said as she pulled herself away from him. Her breath was a bit raspy but her eyes said something different. " Fly with me..." she said as she walked over to the double doors that were open, revealing a open patio. Tyriel looked over the edge and back at Haku. He got the notion and with a brilliant light he appeared as a white pegasus. His breath noisy and his legs strong as his hooves clicked against the wood flooring. Ardere would be so angry she messed up the floor. Infinity Hydra || Post 11/21 || 355 Words |
