Baal's Secondary Magic Training

The Iron Giant that lost it's hand looked up to where it's hand was and began to panic.  A loud roar came from the one that lost it's hand before it moved to step onto Baal.  Baal looked up to the bottom of the creature's feet, raised a single hand up into the air to make a pistol shape with his fingers and pantamimes shooting into the creature's foot.  Before the foot could make contact with Baal, the creature began to disappear.  The atoms within the creature began to scatter until the creature turned to nothing.  If real science was involved, it would have resorted to a massive explosion from nuclear fision, but this is Fairy Tail and magic overrules physics.

The other giant watched on as half of it's team got completely obliterated.  Baal limped a bit and waved on the other giant to bring it on.  Even with Baal's broken body, he was able to taunt his enemies.  He knew he had the upper hand so his natural impulse was to become ever-so-cocky.  Before the giant made it's decision, it quickly vanished.  Everything else within the Break in Time vanished to leave him alone in the wide-open white space once again.  Baal took a few steps forward, hearing his steps reverberate off of who knows what.  Baal looked up once more shouting, "Lilith!  If that's still your name!  I've done your trials, now what?" Baal stated, hearing his voice echo in his head.  

Baal turned around to see if the creature made it's way behind him.  He saw much the same.  There didn't appear to be an ending to this pure-white space.  There didn't seem to be an outward, nor did up or down seem to be any different.   Suddenly, all of the white turned to darkness; absolute darkness.  

Baal looked towards his hands, but the complete darkness made even looking at his hands an impossible feat.  Something he hasn't felt before in the Break in Time began to radiate around him.  Heat.  The temperature began to rise before a small kindling could be seen in the distance.  Baal walked towards the kindling light, noticing the flickering in the distance.  Unlike earlier, the bright white room that reverberated sound easily now felt like a place that absorbs all light and sound.  "What's with this choking heat," Baal asked himself, slowly removing bits and pieces of his armor off of his body.  He would have stopped and moved away from the light, but something about it beckoned him forward; calling him.  Much like early humans, they cowered to the light for it brought safety and security from the terrors of night.  This was an instinct most intelligent creatures had.

Being compelled to go towards the light, Baal couldn't stop himself.  He stripped all the way down to his skivvies, leaving his clothing behind him as he approached the little kindling of light.  The closer he approached, the more intense the heat got.  The closer he approached, the large and brighter the light from the kindling became.  It grew from a kindling to a large pyre.  The sound of pure quite caused Baal to listen to his own heart beating, the sound of his muscles expanding and contracting.  It was as if he could hear everything within his body and soul in this place filled with darkness.  Baal made his way to the large pyre, stopping to watch the large fire extend sky high.  His body was covered in sweat as the heat was absolutely sweltering.  As Baal stood next to the warm flame, everything turned to darkness and everything grew cold instantly.  The sound of his heart beating increased in frequency.  

Three women are seen before Baal; all bound, gagged, and upon their knees.  Their heads were faced forward as if ready to be beheaded.  He recognized these three women.  They were:
His first love, Seiryn
His sister and queen,  Babylon
His lover and everything, Tyriel

Baal looked around, knowing this was a ploy from that Beholder and shouted out towards the creature.  "This isn't fair, Lilith!  You're making me choose one of these 3!?  You are a cruel monster!" Baal stated before looking towards the three.  There were men standing behind them, wearing executioner cowls over their head.  They all raised their axes at the exact same time.  Baal could hear his heart beating and he could feel every vein pulsating all the way up through his skull.  
Baal watched as time was slow enough for him to watch the axes grow to their peak.  After watching for a moment, Baal had a moment of absolute clarity.  His eyes narrowed and he spoke under his breath.  "Screw you and your mind games, Lilith," he said silently before looking up to what is perceived to be the sky and shouted out.  "I don't need to show you who I love.  All that matters is what I feel is real.  It's not a feeling that you, as a creature outside of time, would understand!  You can't just play with other people's emotions.  If you truly want to become human, you need to feel the pain of others as if they are your own," Baal said before the executioners swung their axes, stopping right before the necks of all three women.  

There was a strange rumbling before all 6 of the figures; the three executioners and the 3 imitations of the women he had loved all collapsed into nothingness.  The blackness around him began to crumble into nothingness, showing off the pale white sky once more that is in the Break in Time.  

The world returned to the white that it was before entering the realm of darkness.  Baal found his clothing piled upon each other in a neatly folded pile with his weapon laid across neatly away from the clothing.  Baal quickly got dressed.  While putting his gloves on, he heard a familiar voice coming from behind him.  "So, thinking of other people's feelings is part of being human, you say?  You know, I never actually thought of that!" said the human form of Lilith before she jumped up to him, hugging his back.  Baal could feel it's large breasts upon him, causing him to clear his throat.  Realizing what she was doing, she quickly moved off of Baal and cleared her throat.  

"Right, you aren't a fan of that, huh?" she asked before Baal turned around, noticing that Lilith was in it's humanoid form, with a letterman jacket on over the skimpy cloth it called clothing earlier.   Baal responded with a small, yet genuine smile.  Lilith quickly walked up to Baal and narrowed her eyes to examine the expression.  "So that's what a real smile looks like, I see," she said in examining.  

"Well, anyway.  Now that I've taught you the basics to 'The Art of Decay', I leave it up to you to perfect your own unique style," she said with a smile and a nod of her head.  The corner of his lip tugged up slightly before an idea came into Baal's mind.  

"Master Lilith," Baal stated to the little girl, calling for her attention only to bow in front of her deeply.  "Thank you!  I've learned so much from you!  I wouldn't have thought I'd be able to obtain this power.  So thank you!" he said for a moment before standing up to look Lilith in the eyes.  There was a little nod before he vanished from the Break in Time.  

Baal found himself on the top of the tower once again overlooking the land.  What felt like several weeks in the Break in Time was only just a few hours in the actual world.  Where he entered the Break in during the day turned to the very next morning.  Did Lilith arrange for his return to coincide with the rising sun?  Baal stood at the edge of the tower to see the sun slowly rise over the horizon.  Baal smiled as he watched the sun gently rise.  Something bothered him though.

Before he left the Break in Time, he noticed tears falling down Lilith's cheek.  Lowering his head, he chuckled a bit.  Perhaps one that has observed humans and other living beings finally got a taste of how it felt to be human; finally feeling raw emotions instead of emulated ones.  She will be confused with the feelings she feels now, confusing her real emotions with the copy that she thought was true emotion.  

But what Baal is happy about is that he has the tool to take down an entire kingdom if he needed to.  The power he needed to get the revenge against those that invaded Elysium.  Now that he has the tools to ruin nations, the only hard part is to go back.  None of the Wakusei Portals lead to Elysium, so finding one that does is the complicated part.  

Baal raised his hand up to his shoulder and stared into his palm for a moment.  The raw destruction of nullifying the Strong Atomic Force that causes atoms to hold their shape isn't something to scoff at.  No, this is the power he needed.  Baal balled his hand into a tight fist and grinned, pulling the fist in to his side victorious.  

"Give me some more time, Elysium.  I will return and take back my land."
