Personality: A young prodigy in the field of medicine Andrea Domino gained her PHD at the age of only 14. Her skill with a scalpel was particularly famous. Rather than focusing her attentions directly on saving people she preferred the more analytical side of things and became the head of an autopsy unit at age 17 where she could cut open humans and other creatures to try and work out how they died and work out ways of saving others from suffering the same fate. She was a powerful magical doctor for the rune knights who had reached the rank of S. It was this magic that allowed her to do so well for she used all her powers to allow her to be the best doctor she could be. It was on one such autopsy, when she was working late as usual, that she was examining a body that was supposedly deceased from an unknown pathogen. However, despite wearing full magic-enhanced protective gear she was not protected from what really caused the death. A strange alien entity tore into her slicing through the protective clothing like a hot knife through butter and was rapidly absorbed by the skin. The intense pain this caused called her to fall into unconciousness. When she awoke her skin which had once been a deep tan had become incredibly pale, her black hair was white and her crystal blue eyes had faded to a pale red. In other words she had become an albino. Yet that was not all. In her mind she heard a voice. A voice that whispered to her. It congratulated her on her survival saying that her previous magical abilities had been eaten away. It was only that which allowed her survival because it allowed her to truly become one with the symbiotic parasite.
Her mind was hazy and she fled to her home to try and think things through, but the voice was whispering the entire time. Whispering that with its power she could truly become the greatest doctor alive. She tried to ignore it and sleep, but it got into her dreams slowly corrupting her so that when she awoke she was no longer the woman she was before. Her desire to analyse bodies and find cures was still there, but she no longer cared if said bodies were alive or dead. It was for this reason that she became an outcast, a criminal. People called her the mad doctor and after her methods became a bit more infamous the Surgeon of Death. She turned to the only thing she could to get funding for her research, the life of a mage, a dark mage.
In battle she is quite methodical and strategic using her knowledge of anatomy to her advantage to strike at pressure points or weak spots to cripple and disable her opponents as fast as possible. Her body was stronger now due to the aide of the symbiote and that too provided her extra insight. It whispers into her brain giving her advice, but its advice is sometimes a bit too risky for her liking and she ignores it going for the smartest approach possible unless no other alternative presents itself. As battles progress though and her body tires the symbiote gains greater control and its whispers of suggestion become orders that she will struggle to disobey. This is why she tries to do thing as quickly and intelligently as possible as she doesn't like who she is when the symbiote is in control as there is no real rationale to it.
Out of battle she spends most of her in acquisition and research. Acquisition is perhaps the most interesting part because she will sneak into hospitals and kidnap people, steal various medical samples and items, research and all of that. People slowly begin to fear the hospitals worrying that they will be taken by the mysterious surgeon of death. Her methods are quite stealthy though so despite the impressive military resources put into defending the sick and enfeebled she has never been spotted and the pattern of her attacks has not yet been worked out.
People are important to her. They are ways of advancing her knowledge. As such she will do what she can to keep her patients alive as long as possible. In terms of allies she will try her best not to use them for experiments unless they become useless to her or require her aid. She is always willing to try out radical new 'cures'.
She is good at following orders, but will often interpret them in her own way in order to best fit her own goals or to acheive the goal in the most efficient method possibly.
Around people she tends to be quiet for the most part acting as the observer rather than the interactor whilst occasionally asking questions or responding if spoken to. All the time her mind will be racing trying to work out the situation, what might cause the people to act in a certain way, what diseases they might have and what might be the cure, why the bodies look a certain way. This is held as a conversation with the symbiote who is like a permanent invisible friend she can speak to within her mind.
Being alone is not something that happens that often to her and in truth she is never truly alone due to the symbiotic parasite inhabiting her body. However, excluding that she tries not to be alone because when she is alone there are a fewer distractions to keep the symbiote from taking over. She also doesn't like to sleep much and doesn't really need to either. The symbiote provides her energy, but when she does eventually sleep she hates it as her dreams are plagued with thoughts of the symbiote which never sleeps. She fears it will take control. She also doesn't like being alone as when alone she cannot observe and analyse people. Also, she knows her answers alone will never provide the ultimate answer and it is only through interactions can the answers to be found. And no the answers are not equal to 42 except on very rare occasions.
