Eternal Chaos (Godfray, Sayrn, Haretsa)

"Forming a team?" piercing blue eyes read over the letter, a rarely seen expression of surprise painted across unmoved features as the little fox, down below, peered up with that ever so familiar glare in his eyes. Even though the demon seemed unimpressed, the young woman stood there, skeptical on what to do. She had never once thought that the guild-master would invite her of all people, to arrange a team. So far, Natsu had been a nobody. Hiding in the shadows, watching others. Always going out of her way to purposely avoid people, and brush of invitations only to receive this of all things; truly befuddled her. Why me? There were plenty of other brilliant mages in the guild, but, out of all of them, he had asked her. It just didn't make sense. Perhaps he had his reasons, although, there was a longing urge to know why the young man of this guild, did what he had done. The once perfectly lined letter, creased within the grip of her tightly clenched hand; tossed over into the nearby trash-can.

Approaching the door, Kurama barely lost his tails as the towering structure slid shut behind him, "Hey! Watch it!" hostility flared within his voice, but, she did not even acknowledge what he said, continuing to pursue towards the tavern downstairs. It made her glad that she didn't have to pass four towns and cities just to get to her guild. The convenience of this new room, and familiar town, was a much lesser burden on her shoulders.

Natsu let out a brief sigh as she walked on, sensing the presence of two people downstairs; the sound of voices reaching her ears. Booted feet neared the railing of the second-floor, peering over it to catch a glimpse of Ardere behind the bar, and an individual she had yet to meet. A few strands of those vermillion locks fell past her shoulder as she curiously watched the two. She wanted to say something, but nothing could come out of her mouth. No matter how much she urged herself to at least say hello, the god slayer felt suddenly overwhelmed with anxiety. A thousand questions spilled into her mind, yet, she couldn't answer any of them. "..I know humans are stupid, but, you don't have to go along with just me you know." Kurama muttered, snapping her back into reality. Lashes lowered towards the small orange fluff as he looked away with a slightly poutish expression.

With another sigh, she took the route down the stairs, her footfalls echoing into the empty hall until the first floor lastly came. Not once peering up, she loitered over towards the direction of the bar, taking her seat on the farthest end. "So..?" an elbow raised to incline against the counter, chin resting in the palm of her open hand, "What's all this about forming a team, Ardere?" as emotionless as every. It was hard to perceive what intention had truly came from those words.

Not once did those eyes veer into the direction of extra company, seemingly bored as she sat there, guising the shelves of alcohol. With her chin rested in the palm of her open hand, ears heeding the call of another unfamiliar voice, the young woman kept quiet to the side as this individual spoke. Appearing to have a rather cold impression on her, this sudden entrance caused her to peer over and get a look at the two who sat over to the left of her. With an outstretched hand coming into her view, she found herself hesitantly reaching out her hand; dressed in that oh-so-familiar fingerless glove. But, it turned out she wasn't going to be let off with any idiocy today, the shorter haired female quite literally making her way onto the other side of the bar, and tearing off the bartender's pants. Natsu's eye twitched at this action, freezing in place as she watched such an aimless and irregular scene take place before her. Quickly the hand retreated back by her side, and she turned away with a bit of worry portrayed against her features. Perhaps these people are crazy? Yes, that seemed right. Although, her guild-masters decision on when choosing genuine members to join together and form a team; truly perplexed her.

As the familiarity of that phony name, met her ears, she lifted her head up as Ardere spoke, "Offensive specialist?" lashes fluttered, piercing blue eyes widened in a slight tinge of marvel. This man had known nothing of her strengths or weaknesses. Infact, he knew nothing of her at all. Was it really that smart to be giving her such a position? Fingers curled inward, tightly kneaded into the palm as she inclined her arms against the counter of the bar. "Are you certain of this?" a bit of hostility was held in her voice, faint and barely noticeable, "There are many capable members in this guild that would be far more worthy to be in a team like this." with a pause, her gaze fell downwards once again, a slight frown meeting her features, "Personally, I don't understand your reasons for inviting me to join in the first place.. you barely know anything about me, Ardere." although she wouldn't deny the fact, that a part of her wanted to accept this offer, there was a part of her that hesitated as-well. As the vermillion haired woman, seemed to be suddenly tense and frustrated, the only thing that managed to snap her out of her state, was the loud roaring burp that shook the entire guild. With as much power as to rattle her locks and clothing, she sat there, a few beads of sweat arrayed along her forehead.

With no regard to the silver-haired woman, the flesh upon a naked arm was greeted with pain; nerves shivering out into a jolt. Like gentle fingers gripped tightly against the root of a rose, comprehension of the deadly thorns disappeared just as quickly as they had appeared. Royal opticals veered into the direction of the one who evidently had no respect of even asking before doing. A single drop of crimson coasted down her arm, the piercing of opened skin fringed so quickly together that none could notice that tiny wound healed in a matter of seconds. Listening to the words of a barely clothed individual, apprehension lulled her into a hesitation. The urge to speak prodded within the depths of her emotions, a slight frown greeting the brow as the chance to vocal faded with the exit of the ignorant. Well, I guess medicine would be nice once in awhile. Conversion of the wounds was one thing, whilst the process of removing poison took more or less longer.

Awareness faced the brunette as he spoke, listening to his words discreetly that came almost fitly past his lips; the same impression of esteem striking her in the that way he treated this situation. Instead of a counter; a possible reply, or a choice to pursue the question of why? Natsu sat there, with her head lowered and her eyes averted elsewhere. She was not dull-witted enough to not understand his reasons, despite them not being the answers she had expected, the god slayer knew well to leave the topic untouched for now. Besides, perhaps joining a team would be fun? Not entirely one to exchange talk was her tendency on the most part, but a doubting made way into her mind that once apart of this group; conversation would inescapable. Another hand approached her view, and her gaze wandered towards the other with look a of dismay drawn against her features; perplexed by the vitality that idled from her youthful self. For a moment, she wasn't quite sure what she wanted to say, and even after a matter of what felt like minutes, Natsu's hand strained out to meet the other.

"Y-Yeah.. likewise." with a quick nod, her hand left the youth; recognition of name withdrawn from the mouth of Ardere once more. "I have no questions." she stated, rising up from the stool, gloves; fingerless, gliding out against the smooth surface of the bar-counter. "I just hope you don't regret your decision, Ardere." and with that, the young-woman made her leave. Lengthed vermillion locks razed past her shoulders and fell against her back, the sound of foot-fall ringing out into the guild till it keeled into silence and then.. disappeared. It had been a long time since someone last welcomed her into a team.
