Kyrin is a woman all about looks and books the only two things she tends to derive joy from. Yet even with all that she can be a kind and caring type of woman though that requires you to pass her checks for lies. For what most do not know about her is that she carries some of the more powerful magical artifacts that were recently discovered. Grimoires filled with magical knowledge long forgotten and also very powerful. And it is due to having these to herself that she herself is highly paranoid of those around her. For not only was her father murdered in cold blood to gain the first of the grimoires but she has had many an attempt on her own life to the point where now she will wait to check to see if anyone is trust worthy of her before anything. Yet once you crack beneath the exterior of her hardass attitude you will find that she is rather kind and soft spoken while always being willing to protect those close. Yet this also is hidden behind her goals ones that outclass most other. As to her the money is everything and an form of fame she can get she will try and with fame comes fortune. Using these to her advantage she would cut down any and all in her path to the ultimate goal of uniting the grimoires. Even if an ally or lover may stand in her way when it comes to the grimoire then mercy leaves the vocabulary as you will either give her the book. Or die with it being pried away from you.
When she is with a lover she tends to be a tad more playful always trying to make sure that they are laughing or having a good time to the point of silliness. Yet at the more passionate end of the spectrum she can be one to enjoy cuddling as much as the last. Unfortunately she is almost incapable of going further than sleeping together with someone as a phobia stops her from going too far in those cases. But even so she is a dedicated lover and so long as they do not impede her path of fame and fortune then she will let them stay by her side.
While within combat she is focused and playful to a fault due to her grimoires mass of adaptable spells she tends to be a bit more cocky in the presence of enemies. Yet even then she tends to not kill them unless the need arises but should someone do something that could trigger her to get angry she gives enemies a warning of a simple variety.
“Either run, Or I kill you.”
Once this ultimatum is sent she will begin to get more aggressive in her approach not hesitating to fight dirty or even use any and all advantages to slaughter her enemies in seconds and fuel her grimoire with their blood.
When in command of a anyone she tends to be a bit more strict having a certain way things are done and will not be lenient on it. It is due to this fact that she is a better follower than a leader, as when she has power she will not hesitate to use it to her advantage in making others subjugate
like the grimoire a part of herself that is very much a dominion based personality. She will not let her subordinates disobey orders without punishment and unless they have VERY good reasoning she will punish those that do not go through with her plans. A hardass to the end she is not the best leader but when she knows what she is doing sometimes it is best to follow her.
Much like her leadership she tends to prefer if people listen to her but due to her lack of actual authority she much to her own chagrin has to bite her tongue and deal with it. Cocky to a fault if her idea would have worked better prepare to hear about it a lot. Yet when she is following someone she is either friends with or a relationship she tends to be a bit more slack on them and more willing to follow their orders and take their advice. Yet even then her attitude remains much the same as if you make a mistake she knew how to deal with prepare to hear about it to the ends of time.
Likes:
☕Coffee
One of the very few things that allows her to survive in this world is the veritable ambrosia of the gods simply known to most as coffee.
☕Aesthetics
One of the larger things that Kyrin enjoys is a aesthetic that works for everyone the idea that someone with a magic based around flames would wear a ton of blue would give her a massive aneurysm as she tried to "Explain" to them that it is bad aesthetics to look like that.
☕Books
To Kyrin nothing can make a day more amazing than a cup of coffee and a good book where she can sit back relax and imagine the worlds she could visit mage or not. Yet even with this being the case the ulterior motive is that she is always looking for clues to find the different grimoires of which fuel her magic.
Dislikes:
☕Preps
The idea that ANYONE can be so happy all the time makes her want to slap them so hard they are incapable of smiling for the next two years since realty is life sucks deal with it. Yet she still knows that you need happiness but people who are ALWAYS happy just piss her off.
☕Bugs
Just the thought that one of those disgusting things is crawling around on her or NEAR her is enough to set her off into an explosive rage as she attempts to kill anything that moves within a two meter radius.
☕Water
Plain, Tasteless and simply boring she would prefer to never have to drink or ever swim inside water. Not to mention the fact that she has lost more than one really good book to summer water sports.
Motivations:
☕Unite the Grimoires
One of her most expansive goals is to find and unite the five grimoires, Weiss, Noir, Blut, Lila and Zerstörung. By doing so she allows her magic to reach its peak.
☕Become well known
One of the major reasons she fights as hard as she does is to become a well enough known mage so that she can make a comfortable living and own her own massive library.
☕Find her equal
One of her other side goals is to find another mage she can mark as her equal and perhaps have an actual connection with rather than the usual rough and gruff buffoons she tends to find in a ton of guilds.
Fears:
☕Death
As cliche as a fear it is she is terrified that death could just be an empty void that once death consumes all like always she will cease to be and eventually be forgotten after fighting so hard to get fame.
☕Trypophobia
Kyrin has a massive and terrible irrational fear of anything with small holes in them she has no clue why but seeing things like that can cause her to panic and cry. Though only a minor case she has been known for the more horrify ways it can appear to break her down quick into a panic attack.
☕Genophobia
She has a massive and rather strange fear of any forms of sexual intercourse with it being a big reason she does not keep in a relationship as she is incapable of bringing herself to ever go that far causing her to break down in fear and cause panic should people try and force her into it or even ask it of her. Yet even so she can see it with only minor fear enough that she can get away quickly.
