Personality:  A very blunt, cocky, confident person; He has a big mouth and likes to talk, but hates when people show him up. He is competitive and likes to show off, but luckily he does have the strength and power to back up his over reactive mouth. Most of the time he is a loud drunk, as described by those who know him. As he drinks ALOT of Sake. He isnt a kind hearted man to those that are not woman and dont deserve it, but he isn't really evil. He is just Lazy and Neutral.
He has a habit of being a bully and likes branding some of the others with names. Despite being playful, he is serious whenever it comes to his job. He doesn’t let personal matters interfere with his work, and does his best to do the most he can. His professionalism extends to a point where he addresses his childhood friends by their status. His devotion to his job roots from his belief to the Emperor of Midi. At first, he had no intention to get involved on the royal family as he saw it as troublesome. However, when he witnessed the emperor’s bravery, he swore loyalty to them, seeing that he couldn’t leave them alone.

Kaige is a mischievous and loyal person who strives to protect his family and his lost love at all costs. When it comes to his heart, he doesn’t let his greed take over him and destroys his impulses every time they resurface. There are times that he will show his affection in a teasing manner, but that’s the limitation of what he will show.  Kaige is a little bit perverted and awfully over protective. However, when someone questions the distance he made between him and Tyriel, he loses his composure and can become aggressive for his emotions towards her. Despite that, he still knows where to place himself, and chooses to support her to the best he can, even if he is hurting deep inside sometimes.
On most days he just lies around wherever he is staying, skulking, or relaxing. He feels as though he never has the chance to relax. But since he certainly enjoys the finer things in life, Kaige is seen normally in a tavern or brothel, certainly living nicely.

Extremely loyal, he can be counted on whenever needed, no matter the problem. He prides himself on this. Along with his strong will and determination. He is constantly challenging himself. He see's his weaknesses as obstacles he will overcome, not as set backs that he cannot conquer. Kaige pushes himself to the brink every time, believing in himself and his ability, constantly gaining from it.

When fighting, He can be a bit of a hot head, taking up any challenge not even thinking of the consequences. Jumping into situations before thinking. This is a big Harmatia for him because he has a passion to protect, well how well can he protect if he is dead? Perhaps he is overconfident in his abilities, or over confident in his own pure luck. Because with some of the situations he gets into, only pure luck can get him out.  
All he can think about is beating them, and does not stop to consider what advantages he may have or disadvantages that can hinder him. He fights blindly, but with whole heart body and soul. Kaige fights alot like a beast; Hence where his nickname comes in. With hard quick strikes that no one can predict. Even with a long heavy weapon he is quite proficient as just as fast as a man with a sword. But it offers no protection so Kaige is often injured; which is where his scars come from.
Kaige is a natural leader, but he is lazy so he refuses to take on that responsibility; however it is handed to him anyways and he excels fast. He is all about protecting those he loves with his own sacrifices, and that is what makes him a perfect leader. A poor one would find a way to use all the help he has to beat a enemy. Kaige would take it on himself, die doing so, just so no one else has to die.

• Women :: He isn't lewd, he just respects females. They are beautiful and meaningful. he lives by this, and wants to protect them.

Motivations:

• Finding Tyriel :: While he had returned to Midi, to his home, he longs to find the small frail girl he gave his life to protect.
  
  
• Family :: Coming from a Noble house in Midi, family has a deep place in his heart and he offers up his protection. This is where he can become stronger, this is his motivation.
  
  
• Dark Guilds :: He fears, Dislikes, and hates all things relative to a Dark Guild and will not stop until they are burned.
  

Fears:

• Dark Guilds :: Not only does he dislike them, he has a deeper fear for them, believing that they are the root of all evil that plagues the world now. His fear however is that they will harm Tyriel once more.
  
  
• Being Alone :: After spending so many years in confinement, Kaige fears being alone, no friends, family, loved once ect.
  
  
• Failure :: There is so much riding on his shoulder, so much that he has to make sure happens. So Kaige fears failure, because death could come if he does.

Hair: Black with a dark blue hue. It is in choppy layers and hangs a bit below his ears. Someday he would like to put in in a low ponytail.

Appearance:
Kaige is described as a tall, handsome young man with sharp blue eyes. He has short, messy black hair with fringes hanging below his eyes. He has a well-built frame that is cultivated from his fights and training. He is covered in many scars, some very prominent, others more faded. His face however is clear of any signs of cuts, except for one soft pink line across his forehead that is not very visible.

He wears a sleeveless blue overcoat seamed with bluish black hemlines over a royal blue robe with black collar and sash. He ties black ribbons in a crisscross pattern over the lower half of his sleeves to prevent them from getting in the way when he is fighting. Underneath his robe, he wears black pants and a pair of dark brown boots overlaid with more crisscross-patterned ribbons on the shaft. Occasionally, he can be seen wearing a sledge hat when he is hiding his identity.
He always carries his signature weapon, a Hsu Quandao, most of the time with its blade draped in a white cloth held by a black strap.
When he is just lounging around he will usually wear his overcoat open or off completely, seeing as how it is padded to protect from attacks.

On special occasions Kaige will decorate his hair with beads and feathers to signify his clan In Midi.
