Job Description: A kid is having problems dealing with bullies at school and has been collecting as much pocket change to pay for a job. While it is chump change, the job is to scare the bully away so that the kid can have a decent life. He wants the bully to be scared and will get in trouble if the aggressor is found beaten or dead. Although Dark guilds could by all means choose to forgo the monetary reward and go straight to the extreme.

Reward: 100 Jewels or none if the bully gets hurt.

A stray beam of light poked its way through the window of a lonely house in Clover Town. Dwelling inside the wooden structure was none other than Slade Wallins. Even though the day had started for everyone hours ago, he was still sleeping and the sounds of his snores were enough to disrupt anyone else’s slumber. For no reason at all, the strand of light landed right on the young Dragon Slayer’s eyes.

First he waved his hand, thinking that someone was bothering him and then rolled over. His attempt to escape the sun, however, didn’t go so well. Instead of rolling over on top of his bed, he tripped and landed right on the floor. Slade instantly woke up and rubbed the back of his head. He was completely lost, did someone wake him or did he simply fall?

“What the heck just happened?” he muttered to himself and fell backwards.

Zhi's blade, freshly in its sheath of course, was pressed up against his shoulder as he walked through the streets of Clover Town. The sun was shining in the sky, the kids were playing in the walkways, and the society in the town was bustling. It was truly a perfect days by every definition of the word. His armor clunked against the ground as he walked through, getting a few stray stares here and there. He absorbed the attention with a smile, laughing a bit to himself as his gaze flickered around the area.

Only.. there was someone bringing down the happiness curve. A young child was sitting down on the ground, tearing welling up and streaming down his cheeks. He sniffled, looking dead at Zhi. His heart was broken by the sheer amount of sadness in the kid's stare. He couldn't help but go up to the child and ask what was wrong.

After Slade stretched his body some, he exited from the cabin that he’d be staying in. There was a job listing for him out of town so the young Dragon Slayer thought that he should rent a room in Magnolia Town. The people in the area were so nice; it almost made him want to continue to stay there. Sadly, he didn’t want to abandon his Guild, he loved that place.

As he was paying the man who allowed him to stay in his house, Slade noticed someone crying. That’s when he remembered that his mission was to put an end to a bully’s reign. So that he could get some information, the young Dragon Slayer asked the little boy a question.

“What happened,” he first asked, “And where is he?”

It was an odd request and as such, the child looked confused. He wondered if Slade already knew about his dilemma. It also made the small boy feel safe, knowing that someone was there to help.

Zhi noticed that one of his guild mates was already walking up to the child shortly after him. It was Slade the burning dragon slayer of passion and a lover of fighting. They recently got to know each other over an unfortunately powerful chicken, and through that, they became nothing short of best friends. The slayer and the samurai now stood over the child, protective auras enabled as Slade questioned the child about his bully problem. How he sensed out that problem was beyond him, but little did Zhi know.. he hit the nail on the head.

"I.. I've been saving up all my money to pay one of the mages to take care of this kid who keeps picking on me. It's not much, but I have 100 jewels. But he can't get hurt, or I'll get in trouble!" Tears kept streaming down his cheeks, showing his money. He didn't want to take this money from a child, but his gaze flickered over to Slade.

As much as the young Dragon Slayer wanted to greet Zhi, he was too focused on the child’s cries. If there was anything that Slade hated, it was a bully. After he heard the child speak, he placed his hat onto the little boy’s head and started heading off. Before he went, he left a few words for the child to remember.

“Don’t worry,” he said, “I’ll get your money back.”

The only question was, how powerful their target was. The child asked them not to attack his bully, but what if they needed to? That also made the young Dragon Slayer wonder what they should do as far as a plan. If fighting whoever they needed to catch was out of the option, something else had to be done.

“Oh and he’s a few yards that way,” the small boy said, pointing in a direction, “I think he’s in the process of robbing someone else.”

As the boy explained his dilemma, he also pointed in some random direction. It was actually up north from where they were positioned, and as soon as Zhi brought his gaze over to the bully, he could tell that this was just some snot-nosed brat who wanted to pick on anyone half his size. Red hair, freckles, and a nose that could only be defined as a pig's. Definitely the golden kid of his own family.

"Don't worry, kid. We'll go ahead and waive the fee. Let's just make sure he doesn't bother you again." The child looked up at the samurai and the slayer starry eyed as the two of them headed over to where the bully was. Zhi grasped at the hilt of his blade, slowly sliding it out of its sheath and letting the darkened steel meet the sunlight. He would let Slade make the first move and be the cool guy; he was more suited to intimidation in the shadows.

During their trip to where they’d find the bully, Slade leaped into the air and landed onto a house. His goal was to show their target what it was like to be bullied by someone. He of course wouldn’t harm the child; the young Dragon Slayer was just going to scare him a little bit. After a while of hopping from one roof to another, the Dragon spotted its prey.

Apparently the bully had just ripped off money from someone else. Rather than immediately jumping down, Slade observed the small child. He wanted to wait until the moment was right for him to strike.

“Time to move in,” the young Dragon Slayer muttered and landed right in front of the bully.

After he did so, he immediately summoned fire to trail off his fingers. Slade then saw the look of someone who was afraid and realized his plan was working. The bully, however, summoned the courage and demanded the young Dragon Slayer to fork over his cash.

Zhi approached the bully as his friend took scare of the initial fright. With fire springing from his finger tips, it was safe to say that he gave off the feel of an actual dragon staring the bully down. However, despite that, the little kid still worked up the nerve to try and bully Slade into giving up his money. While it was a humorous thought, Zhi was being serious this time.

Ethereal Cyst. While he normally wouldn't do this, he made small portals within his own chest, his blood beginning to flow into the rifts. From there, he made a new portal that would allow the blood to freely flow out of his palm. The crimson liquid flowed down his steel blade as he pointed it at the bully, his face showing no emotion.

"You remind me of another kid I just met.. this is all that's left of him."

There was blood in the air and for a moment, the young Dragon Slayer thought that his Guild Mate ruined their job. After he’d heard Zhi’s words, it made the situation worse for Slade’s thoughts. It made him truly wonder if the Samurai had done that to someone else. He also wondered when his friend had the chance to do it.

After he gave it more thought, he realized it was all a part of their plan. On that note, Slade looked back at the bully and noticed a puddle of something underneath the child. That’s when he knew their plan had succeeded.

“Now then,” he said while releasing a cloud of smog so that no one could witness anything, “Are you going to give us all your money or… are things going to become very messy. No one can hear your screams within this realm.”

What Slade said wasn’t entirely true, but he didn’t want the child to know that. He just wanted the bully’s reign to end and by the looks of him shivering, the young Dragon Slayer felt as if he had his answer.

The slayer wasted no time in following up on the samurai's theatrics, breathing smog all around their position. Zhi smirked as he stared the child down, watching fresh urine stream down his thigh. Their point was already made, it was a home run, but now was the time to knock it out of the park and make sure this ball, the bully, was never going to come back to the field.

"I-I'm sorry, take it, take it all!" Without hesitation, the money was thrown at Slade and Zhi before the bully ran away through the smog, tears streaming down his face in fright. Zhi made his way back to the bullied kid and tossed him the money with a bright smile, flashing a thumbs up.

"Remember the Samurai and the Slayer of Blue Pegasus: Zhi Wuju and Slade Wallins!" And with that, they were off to the guild building, smiles all around.
