Strengths:

Helps Mikhail deal more damage physically, which helps him deal with foes that hold the ability to use magic.
Because of the length of this weapon, Mikhail is able to deal damage to foes that would have previously been out of his reach.
Since this weapon is often sheathed on horizontally across his back, he has easy access to this weapon should the need arise to make use of it.

Weaknesses:

Because of the length of this weapon, enemies that get too close to Mikhail would be able to counter his attacks should that directly attack him or the hand holding the weapon.
Due to its low rank, it doesn't have a strong durability to withstand multiple attacks, making it very fragile.
Though it doesn't take long to unsheathe, that lapse in time between the blade being sheathed and unsheathed opens up a window in which the opponent could act.
