Strange Vulcans! [Nagato & Nya, Job]

There was something strange, Naga-tan, Nya’s partner was absolutely quite but the most important thing is that he was crying. The Swordmistress had seen a few tears in Naga-tan’s face, she was very perspicacious on that type of things, but she had this feeling that the better option there was saying nothing, act like she didn’t notice those few of tears.

But oh yes. They were on the Vulcans nest, I mean, WHY were there so many monkeys around if that wasn’t the place? It was so incredibly obvious. Four more appeared, one bigger than the others, and you didn’t even need to think to know which was the strongest.

“Oh, why are they so inconveniently persistent?” She was watching the big monkey, it should be the leader of the Vulcans. Maybe if she and Naga-tan were to defeat the big one, the others would be easily to defeat.

-May I begin, Naga-tan?- The sword mistress was ready for the attack. It might be the end of the job… But it would be the hardest part, no doubts about that.

The apparent leader of the monkeys was angry, furious. And that only accentuated the main problem, which was that they were facing a group bigger than all the previous ones, commanded by what appeared to be their strongest enemy for the job, so thought the sword mistress, with Ashya in her hands and with the ice element activated, but she realized that maybe the ice wouldn’t be enough, that she needed more power. Like fire. On that moment, it was all or nothing. The pink haired girl changed elements, waiting for the ice to dissolve and the flames to ignite. It was like a bonfire. The flames came to life in the Masamune and the other sword she had just created. But they weren’t so potent as to start a fire in the wood just by appearing.

Well, according to Nya’s original plan, the best option was to immobilize the Vulcans while Naga-tan does the killing strikes. But Naga-tan was being a bit too protective to follow that strategy right now.

-Nagaaa-tan, we are a team now, I can defend myself, so focus on the enemy, not me.- Nya said in serious tone.

The two smallest monkeys attacked her partner. “So their plan is sending the weak ones first to tire us, in paper it sounds good IF you have enough numbers to attack in waves and pull back the wounded troops, but the Vulcans don’t have enough numbers to make it work and in this situation, all it accomplishes is to eliminate their numerical advantage, what the Vulcans should’ve done was attack all at the same time, overwhelm our defences and kill us, but they are too stupid to think on those terms it seems.”

The pink haired girl grasped Ashya with both hands and prepared one of the spells she just remembered, one that she suspected, was developed for the very purpose she was going to use it for right now, but filed away that thought for another occasion, and now, she was going to have to remind Naga-tan that she wasn’t a damsel in distress waiting to be rescued. Yes, her lovely Masamune would taste the blood of the Vulcans that were attacking her partner. She closed in on the Vulcans that were attacking Naga-tan, circled around them to get behind them, and in a crouching position, slashed at their legs in a wide arc, their hair catching fire and fueling it’s spread until they were engulfed in flames. She knew however, that while the Vulcans are stupid, even they wouldn’t see an enemy with its back exposed to them and NOT attack, and judging by the sounds, one of them was charging at her already, but Nya just smirked, and without even having to turn around, the broadsword she had created for her very first kill, now coated in flames instead of ice, lifted itself from the ground and flew to the charging monkey at astonishing speeds, piercing through its stomach and burning it from both inside and outside, it was still alive and stopping it’s charge. It was still alive, true, but not for long, their fur was apparently quite flamable.
