Personality: Silvers Rayleigh is a man well past what most consider to be his prime, though he is still a very capable warrior and wizard. However with the passing of his youth so to has his caring of what others think, or his caring for the petty quarrels of most. In his normal, day to day, life Silvers is generally considered to be a very lazy, and very handsy, pervert who would like nothing more than to spend all his days laying before a warm fire napping or on a lakes shore fishing, and napping. And those considerations of him would be true! He has done his work, busted his rump, its time for the young to lead the day while the old rest.
However when Silvers does choose to do a job he attacks it with a fervor, the same fervor he had in his youth. Focused, driven, and dedicated are words best used to describe Silvers. Growing up he had it drilled into him again and again that if he was to take on a job he was then to finish that job, and make the final product something he could be proud of. This is a philosophy that he has carried with him his whole life, and passed down to many of his students as well, in an attempt to improve the quality of the world and the many lives within it. This was perhaps best shown during his time as a former member of the magic council, when he fought long and hard for the rights of guilds and harsher movements against dark guilds.
In his spare time, when not napping or fishing, Silvers tracks down youngsters to challenge and train. He has high hopes for the coming generations and the wonderful things they might do, and for this hope he will often use his own considerable skills and experience to try and train youngsters, hoping that the products they will put out, be they actions or items, will be better than what his generation could do.
Likes: - Like most old men whose work is all done Silvers can usually be found napping.
- If he isn't napping, he is likely outside his cottage, fishing
- If he is doing none of those then he is likely out and about, sharing his wisdom with the younger generations and teaching.
Dislikes: - Silvers despises getting up early on sundays. Any other day and he is up before anyone else, in typical old person style, but not on sundays.
- Prunes are the devils testicles he says. He knows they are good for him, especially at his age, but geeze why do people keep sending him prunes?
- There is no room to grow with ignorance, and those who refuse to learn are beneath Silvers time, or energy.
Motivations: - Silvers loves teaching and wants to spread what he has learned to as many as he can.
- He took the job as a teacher long ago. He wont stop until he has put out the best students he can.
- Silvers is going to go take a nap now. His work is done and well, he has earned this nap.
Fears: -Insomnia is a horrible thing to happen to anyone, especially some one that loves naps.
