"Life is a play, the world is the stage and I am the director!"

You know those disney villains who will start concocting a plan and then sing about it? And those extras who appear seemingly out of nowhere, just to burst into song? Maxie 'One-in-a-Million' Hexworth is every annoying little musical character roled into one, all for the sake of making everything more lively and extravagant than it should be. Armed with a recording lacrima that seems to have every possible backing track he could ever need, Maxie will often burst into song on a whim, deliberately grabbing the attention of his surrounding 'audience' by any means necessary. Life is a performance, so why not perform? In direct connection to Maxie's flamboyance is his eccentricity. As far as dark mages go, he is about as far out there as is humanly possible. His love for bright items and music, as well as his random tea parties make him somewhat of an oddball in almost any community, let alone in the dark side of the coin. He also has a tendency to try to drag others into his 'world', such as dancing with random people when he bursts into song, or creating lyrics seemingly out of thin air that relate to the person in front of him. These two traits combined are what make him quite the unique character within the dark community.

As far as guild mages go, Maxie actually slots in well. His general attitude means he gets involved in as many aspects of a guild as possible - usually involving him bursting into song at some point - and always, ALWAYS pulling his weight. Although he doesn't necessarily care for his fellow guildmates, he will treat them respectfully and in a generally friendly tone. He knows and understands that relationships must be built if he is to succeed, regardless of whether they are permanent fixtures in his life or not. However, his hospitality is revealed only for his allies. Anyone considered an enemy...well, that brings us to Maxie's 'other' side.

It doesn't take too much to anger Maxie if he already doesn't like you. Simply stating he's anything but perfect is enough to flick the switch in his head. His entire demeanour will change as he becomes a destructive, sadistic man who feeds off the sight of his foes blood. It should be noted however that this isn't your typical bloodlust. Oh no, not by a long shot. Maxie won't simply aim to make an opponent bleed by any means necessary. He'll take his time, planning every move and every strike to tear his opponent literally limb from limb and draw every drop of blood out of their imperfect body. He will listen to the orders of those above him in combat, but only to a certain point. If he feels another action would be more beneficial and successful then he will take it without a seconds hesitation. What makes Maxie even more dangerous is that fact that he's content to stay back and allow others to do the work, leading an operation but achieving that same destruction and target that he would be able to achieve alone, such is the measure of his leadership capabilities.

Basically, for the love of all that is living, keep Maxie in a good mood. He'll drive you mad, but at least you'll be living.

   Likes:
- Music; Maxie loves musicals and will often burst into song at random moments (usually accompanied by music played from a recording lacrima).

- Parties; Maxie loves a good party, especially if he's the center of the attention. He will often announce a random party out of nowhere, just for the sake of doing so.

- Flawless actions; Whether a friendly act or a murderous scene, Maxie will take an interest in anyone who performs their actions without hesitation. He views them as things of beauty, as it's the mind working in its most pure form.

- Nature; Nature is almost flawless, much like himself. Flowers in particular catch Maxie's attention for some reason. Perhaps it's the pretty colours?

- Tea; As a high standing member of society Maxie has drank many cups of tea in his time. He has developed a very strong taste for it, to the point that it has become almost an addiction.

   Dislikes:
- Disrespect; being part of a prestigious (and indeed, infamous) family has led to Maxie expecting others to at least acknowledge of his status. He is the human incarnation of perfection, and god help anybody who challenges that statement.

- Cold tea; Nothing is worse than cold tea. Drinking cold tea will immediately put Maxie in a foul mood. It is advised to avoid him in this state unless you're wielding a cup of hot tea in your hands.

- 'Heroes'; Seriously, why risk your own life for people you don't even know or trust? There are much better ways to get attention.

   Motivations:

- To be remembered; Making a mark in history isn't enough for Maxie. He wants to take history out, wine and dine it, french kiss it and then lock it in a cupboard and let it rot while he takes its place. He will BECOME history.

- To become superior to his father; Maxie has always been compared to his father since the day of his birth, and he is destined to succeed him. Maxie wants to do more than that, and become superior to his father and his family's legacy.

- To have the worlds largest tea party; A peculiar motivation. Maxie wishes to have one massive tea party that is incomparable to others. Although this may never happen, it won't ever stop him from trying.

   Fears:

- To see himself as anything but perfect; Maxie strives constantly for perfection. To lose sight of that ambition without him achieving it would destroy him.

- A world without music; Music keeps Maxie somewhat sane, as he releases his creativity through song and dance. Losing that means losing the one release he has besides his destructive magical nature.

- Winding up alone; His most peculiar fear given his general attitude in life, Maxie actually fears winding up alone. Being alone on a day to day basis is fine for a while, but when there's no-one around...well, who is there to flaunt yourself at?

Hair: Maxie's hair is black and kept fairly short. It is always hidden beneath his hat, and so its style has never actually been seen.
Eyes: Red, and the iris and pupil are rather thin.
Skin Tone: Pale
Appearance: Maxie's eccentricity doesn't lie solely in his actions. He has a tendency of wearing extravagant or peculiar clothing so that he ALWAYS stands out in a crowd. his personal favourite clothing is a three piece suit consisting mostly of the colours white and pink. His jacket, trousers and shoes are completely white, with a pink shirt, cufflinks and a flower in his breast pocket.

He stands as rather slender albeit muscular in his appearance, with a little goatee sprouting from his chin (something of a family tradition amongst the Hexworth men) and he is surrounded with an aura of superiority almost permanently.
