A very convincing personality, indeed. Alito would remember what Alye said, and leave it in his mind to remember that she would indeed (or most likely) defend himself in most cases- at least in this damned, apparently "Holy Castle." While observing the female, however, Alito noticed something quite peculiar about her. The change in her eyes; what was the significance of it all? As of this instant, Alye's magic registered itself quite strangely into Alito's head. He found it remarkable to witness a wizard beyond any he had seen in centuries- the majority he had been finding too typical until this moment.
"Very fascinating..." Alito commented. As it seemed like a simple display, Alito chose not to comment any further. Frankly, the woman felt comfortable revealing all of these details to her magic in front of Alito, which the embodiment of death did not mind at all. On the contrary, as Alye spoke further about her magic, the boy became more questioning than fascinated about this "Storm Magic" she described. The name of her magic sounded merely like a natural affinity created by Mother Nature, herself, but the way Alye used her magic surely made it look as though every aspect of this magic was her own; not an innovation of something already conjured. "As long as you do not get angry with me, I will not get angry with you." Alito teased, "So, tell m--" Alito was about to add, though he sensed another story coming along, and so he ended his statement abruptly.
This new story was about Alye's past. How interesting, yet miserable it was. This old guild- was it not Eclipse Soul, if Alito could recall? Oh yes. It had been destroyed a while ago, while rumour had it that many had departed beforehand, anyway. As a boy who lacked emotional thought, Alito did not know how to respond to such an incident with words. He was a Magi of death, after all, which is an alternative of destruction, itself. This led Alito to wonder again about how Alye would feel if she were to ever find out his magic. Would she be scared? Would she find the child of Ankhseram repulsive? Curiosity was hitting new limits, yet Alito was trying to keep the same sensation under his control. Then again, Alito had forgotten about that "ethereal white state" Alye had spoken about. Was it dangerous? What if the destruction of Eclipse Soul was by means of war, and this "ethereal white state" was a partial fault for the ordeal? No, Alito could not see this lady being the result of a guild's end.
The next details drew Alito away a bit. He did not like Slayers, after all. To him, they were all too similar, while he also did not believe in such creatures giving hosts magic to surpass even themselves. Alito had sent Ankhseram away just recently, but he doubted ceasing Ankhseram of his existence would be possible. There were other omens of death, anyway, which would surely be against Alito if they were to find out that he had killed their father, as well. "I'm sure you'll come to find that this form of magic you possess will be more worthwhile than the last, Alye." Alito remarked, "It sounds more versatile from what I can hear, which can result in countless opportunities to make astonishing spells- amazing results, so to speak." The young adult hoped this would motivate Alye a bit, though once this statement came about, Alito noticed just how nice he had become throughout his short time here at the castle. Why wasn't he like the frightening person he once was in Tetsukazu? Why wasn't he his ordinary self? He looked over to Alye for a moment, dead in the eye. Perhaps her kindness meddled with his own a bit, and kept his dark side discarded momentarily so the two could get along. It was a strange aura the female possessed, though Alito rather enjoyed it.
He continued listening to Alye's story, which seemed more admirable as Alito's attentiveness grew stronger. Alye's magic had an incredible amount of history behind it, while Alito's was simply a curse since the beginning of his livelihood. It was entertaining to note how comfortable Alye felt unravelling her magic's potential to Alito, too. With so much to explain, did this mean Alye already considered Alito a friend? Or was this a common story to tell? Albeit, Alito was honoured to hear so much, but unfortunately, all good things come to an end. Irritating noises were sensed shortly after everything discussed had planted itself in Alito's mind, hopefully to be transmitted into his long-term memory. On the other hand, why was all of this irritation rising in a holy place? "Two threats detected within the Holy Castle!" A man announced, "As requested by the prince, we must eliminate the disturbances, and earn our reward!" An uproar was heard immediately after this declaration of war, soldiers rushing straight into the building, headed for Alye and Alito. But...
"What are y--" The man who made the announcement tried to say before a swift, ugly-sounding slash could be heard from a distance. The soldiers who had rushed into the building found themselves encased by fog, and soon after, vanished from the castle, itself. "The bloody mist has arrived." A demonic voice began, "Evergreen Magic, Lady of Storms: Please prepare to perish!" Dark forms of laughter could be heard just after this voice, triggering a new army of soldiers into battle. "It is time..." Alito muttered. He was confident he would surpass these filthy brawlers, but what about Alye? Only time would tell, he supposed.
